Can I use a Wizzard rom on a xdaIIs?

Can anyone tell me how to use this rom
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Wizard/Roms/Tmobile/RUU_Prodigy_2170702_217_20710_TMO_US.exe
and put it on a xdaIIs?
Do I need to use a noid.exe and if so wihci one should I use?

You can't do it like that - it would be lovely if you could but a rom for the Wizard would need to be ported for it to work on the BlueAngel. To try it would give you a very nice doorstopper.

Ahh thanks for the warning!! So can this be ported from the wizard to the xdaIIs?
I would love to use the WM5 but as far as I have learned WM5 does not support Blackberry Enterprise aka Instant mail, and I have not found any CAB files that will work on my XDAIIs with WM5 installed. I am getting pretty good at upgrading and downgrading tho :-(

All of the TuMa editions are using a Wizard Port (allbeit an old version). They are really quite stable now and I think we're getting close to a rom to stick with
As far as Blackberry support, I haven't seen a BA WM5 rom with it however I imagine it could be ported but then again, I am no porter!

I found a German BB connect cab that will install on the BA WM5 that ivan made but right at the very end of the install it says cannot load instal module. You click ok and the program tells you it installed. When you go to find the BB settings eve in the BA it is under \windows and when you try to execute it the unit hangs up.
I assume that this cab is looking for the T-Mobile info to complete the install so we would have to have one of the very bright individuals in this forum find out what it is looking for exactly and fix that part of it. The BA WM5 would work with BB connect

PDA not phone

can anyone help me, after upgrading my xda iis with great thanks to this site.
i'm now looking to upgrade a Medion pda frem wm2003 to WM5 which i would imagine would be no prob using the roms available here, however what i am after is the original rom just in case i need to downgrade it, (just in case it wont upgrade)
the device info i have at the moment is
Medion md95025
rom ver. mpnda100 v 1.00m wwe 17.9
wm 2003
gps interface nmea 0183 v. 2.2
the only thing i can get from the medion site is a user manual marked as PNA 100 (lots of help)

Is it possible to extract a copy of the rom from the device whilst in the bootloader mode via usb,if so this will sort out the problem for me.

hi i read some topic about it but if any go to Magician upgrading you will find wm6 for it and Magician have 64 mb memory but the developers make it so why no one make it for ipaq hw 6515c i hope if any one make it

Ah.. Problem isin't in memory size, but in how the ROM is build.
There were never build tools for older HP iPAQ ROM dumping, You will always end up with a error. HTC tools don't work.
I have tried dumping and making ROMs for HW6500 / HW6900 / H6300 series iPAQs, but all ended up with nothing, as I where unable to get xip and imgs parts. Those ROMs are coded or compressed. WM2003 Tools ask for password, only HP engineers know that password.
Also ROM converting from WM2003 to WM5 is not easy.

cant you use rom from a 6915?shame if a rom can never be made because its a pretty solid phone.
i also read for a short while there was an update for wm5 surely someone must have it and can atleast post it?

How I can flash Motorola mpx220

I have need from how to flash to my motorola mpx220 and programs and games for this phone.Please tell me. I find roms but for this phone have only 2003 versions. Have any more new Windows for this phone ? Same as 6.0, 2005 ?? I want change the start menu and desktop screen for this phone other as 2003 . I want him style to be same as 6.0 or 6.5 rom as my Kaiser, near the style of 6.0 (new roms) . The 2003 windows style I don't like it. I serach on the internet but I can't find good results with programs and games I only find some Windowses . PLease tell me any links, which somebody is tested the programs on their phone. And final question is : I want flash my phone but could I unlock this phone for flashing as Kaiser, because I think this phone is not flashing to now or only I can flash any different for flashing for first time (changing radio, anything ... )??

Also, the mpx 220 is OLD.... and it is a smartphone, so there is no 6.0, 6.1, or 6.5 as the are not compatible. Get a new phone.

You can flash it with 5.0

The only one better than the MPX220 is the Startrek. Absolute shame this from factor is disappearing. Startrek with a touchscreen & WMpro would be the best there is. You NEVER have a butt dial with a flip phone .

you are talking about the qtek 9000, which is a UNIVERSAL, not a blueangel, do NOT try and flash blueangel roms to your device, you will brick it.

also, android on the universal is quite different, because of the vga resolution and the completely different hardware, you will find ports in the upper mentioned section of the forum as well.

Does it mean i should just forget about this and just use the version i have currently? Is it possible to be upgraded somehow? I would like to at least install the WM 5.0 but in English. I do not understand German at all.
Toooo bad if i can't do anything abut it. Shame for the good processor (it is good right?)

no it is not possible to flash a rom from THIS section of the forum, but in the link i gave you above, there are instruction and roms for your device. you are just in the wrong sub-forum. depending on your model of the universal, whether you have a G3 or G4 and whether you have 64mb ram or 128 you will find many different roms there (which type of device you have you can find out by checking the memory screen and the bootloader version)
