succeed！！！ connect to pc

1.install htc sync on your pc and reboot
http://www.htc.com/www/SupportViewNews.aspx?dl_id=933&news_id=775
2.then , install PC Suite For Android
http://download.pandaapp.com/?app=soft&controller=android&action=show&f_id=1987
3.open the PC suit for android ,connect your phone to PC with usb , wait a minute and you can manage your phone from PC!
P.S.
dont forget to enable usb debugging in settings-applications-development on your phone
it workd on my topaz

it works on 1.6 and 2.1,2.2
i had give them all a try on my topaz

upload some images

it didn't work..

Is also work on my Topaz, but i use Droid Explorer and SD Share.

I couldn't get this to work.
Is there more info on how to get the connection to work?

try the latest kernel
BTY , have you installed htc sync first and reboot pc?
the connection doesn't mean you can visit sd card directly on your pc,
you can only do this via PC Suite For Android(or maybe other Suites in english) ,
some performances are surported，
e.g. install apps from pc,backup your phone ,manage media and sms

Hi guys, I'm using the XDAGingerbread version on my TOPAZ but I couldn't get a connection between my PC and my topaz. Althought I installed HTC Sync and PC suite for my topaz but nothing....
Do you have a solution ?

Who knows how the Internet can be a computer with x8 shared via usb?. I tried several methods but did not answer

I really don't think that is possible.
But , I use my laptop's internet in the following way.
My internet connection is a wired one.
So I have used "Connectify" to convert my laptop into a wifi-hotspot.
My phone connects to my laptop , which in turn uses my wired internet connection.
Thus , I get my wired internet connection and speed on my phone.
If you don't have wifi on your system , then maybe some external hardware is available for your system , which you have to buy and use.
Creating your system into a wifi hotspot is the only option as of now. No USB options

HTC One not recognized by Mac or Windows

I tried connecting it to my mac and windows, but both didn't work even after enabling USB Debugging. The phone still charges when connecting though. Any help is much appreciated.

If using a Mac, have you downloaded Android File Transfer from here?

i got the same problem
hey i got the same problem. tried to connect via latest android file transfer and htc sync for mac. no go. it only charges. i tried with my htc one x and it works perfectly.... i don't know whats going on....

yeah. not too many other options to toggle that i can see

Solution Found
After I tried almost everything I tried to improvise and try something totally different and it worked!
First uninstall the driver in the Device Manger and then press to update it >> then press Browse my Computer for driver Software >> then press on Let me pick from list.... >> in the list choose the Portable Devices >> choose MPT USB Drive !
And It works...

I'm currently using [ROM]Clean&Tweaked Rom v4[.2.254][Deodexed&Zipaligned] (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2373927) with [KERNEL][SP] DooMKernel (v04)[20140105] (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345567). My problem is I can't use Hotspot & Tethering while my mobile data work fine and I can access Internet. I try it on different computer with different windows but the result is still the same. So any solution?

That work fine. I can browse on any website and stream video on Youtube without any problem.

if you have same problem, troubleshoot problem on your pc. in addition, check your cable when you want usb tethering.
it takes a few minutes to connect ~5 mins above, keep calm and stay on tethering...
btw, if problem same result, back to stock.

Cannot update via mobile data

What the title says. I don't know what else to do as i tried every possible solution and none of them work.

I don't have a wifi connection, neither a pc to use hisuite.
