How to share pc internet with x8 via usb

Hello
Who knows how the Internet can be a computer with x8 shared via usb?. I tried several methods but did not answer
Please submit your way

I really don't think that is possible.
But , I use my laptop's internet in the following way.
My internet connection is a wired one.
So I have used "Connectify" to convert my laptop into a wifi-hotspot.
My phone connects to my laptop , which in turn uses my wired internet connection.
Thus , I get my wired internet connection and speed on my phone.
If you don't have wifi on your system , then maybe some external hardware is available for your system , which you have to buy and use.
Creating your system into a wifi hotspot is the only option as of now. No USB options

Try PDANET app from market for USB tethering,install it in phone and PC...

I want to share from pc to phone. Pdanet is the phone to pc? I've already tested for the phone to pc

I saw somewhere that there is fix for that or something idk.. Can someone help me?

Solk2 has released a patch and also He founded some modules that works fine
So lets wait for our devs to make a Kernel Including all this
Maybe then we will have WiFi without any problems

But I was been able to connect with my friends phone to my wifi and with my phone i dont have luck to connect -_-

Ok. If you are having authentication problem ..Just leave the WiFi on and then reboot the phone
When the phone boots you will be Connected to your WiFi
HINT: Press that THANKS button cause this method Will work

Easier way you can do
forget the network
and turn off WiFi then
turn it on and connect

W-LAN problems in other countries.

I'm in Egypt since few days, and at the beginning my W-LAN works...
after a while it doesn't-...
i ask other people, they have the same problem.
i dont know what it can be...testet on many Connections..
when i connect, there is : connecting to ____
then, the ip authent., then it breaks up and says:
____ deaktivated, connect with connection.
what to do?

brother try to flash egypt modem file it may work or try wiping
1 cache
2 dalvik cache in cwm

you can also run wlan test to see if your wifi is working properly

Sony PC Companion "Your device is locked" ??

So when I connect phone to PC it says my device is locked even it's unlocked... I tried switching USB configurations and turning on USB debug thingy doing restarts etc... but no luck, anyone has any idea what's the problem ? My version is 52.0.A.8.50

tried all of that didnt help , it doesnt even have option to change to "MTP"

You sure your USB connection is switched to MTP? Drag down top task bar, it should give you that option when connected to PC. You on Windows or Mac?

ye i dragged it down and there is: Data transfer, some modem stuff, MIDI and no data transfer... i tried them all still shows its locked

I already did, doesnt work i even tried with debug USB mode... even turning off firewall and widnows defender it just doesnt work, im not complete noob i know how to connect phone to PC it just doesnt let me for some reason

and whats even better it doesnt let me "software repair too, they say turn off phone hold volume down button and connect with usb cable to PC... same problem

its silly seems like sony MTP driver doesnt work with windows 10 LTSC 2019 cuz its missing media feature pack by default, and i cant install it

That's the issue, nicely done. There must be a way. Any access to an older pc or laptop?

actually i do have one! had whole free day to play with this, installed fresh win7 on it with service packs and now its finally working :highfive:

I had same error, then I founded my windows version from list and installed media feature pack as described for my version.
Here is the list for missing media pack and different windows versions

What the title says. I don't know what else to do as i tried every possible solution and none of them work.

I don't have a wifi connection, neither a pc to use hisuite.
