Can't reboot after upgrade to XDA IIs Chinese

Today, I upgrade my HK XDA2s from eng to chinese, the chinese rom which was download from ftp , named "XDA_IIs_Chinese_CHT_1.31.00_ ExtRom_1.31.900_Radio_1.08.00.rar" (Thanks the giver)
During the installation, I have successfully to edit the 3 rom header file to avoid the country ID problem.
All thing go well, and the PC screen saying "Congradulation" at last.
However, after I soft reset my XDA 2s, the device hang on the start up screen, can't reboot further more.
Can anyone tell me how to solve it OR any steps I miss ?

Did you do a Hard reset (power and reset) after the install like it told you to do on the screen?

After seeing the PC screen said "Congradulation"
I've try 1) Softreset and 2) hardreset too
But the problem stilll exist.

Thanks MDAIIIuser, you already help me a lot.
Hope other member who 've encounter the same problem can sharing with us.

Furthermore, MDAIIIuser, while using the rom mention above
"XDA_IIs_Chinese_CHT_1.31.00_ ExtRom_1.31.900_Radio_1.08.00.rar"
which is download from ftp server.
After upgrade, the start up screen is "Qtek" with KPN wording. It is very strange that why the chinese rom got "Qtek" wording.
It is there have something wrong on that files ?

You did what we all would have done, sorry that it was a waste of time.
This is another case of
FUNNY HA HA ... NOT
Check the thread on the t-mobile new rom found (cant post link am on mda). Here you will see that i found a new rom on ftp, posted it to wiki, downloded it and then cooked it to find out that it was a qtec rom.
What a waste of time that was.
We have one very sad person that thinks its funny to delete Ftp files, Ftp dirs and now post files that he/she knows would intrest some of us based on the threads that have been posted.
I for one will take more care when posting to wiki, pity as it takes the fun away.

Dont think amy of our CHT are good, might try to download then and see if they work.

Tell me which CHT ROM you did and how you flush Rom , maybe I can help,I try all CHT Rom in here except Dopod114 ROM was broken others all can flush,pm to me or replay in here I will help same as MDAIIIUser help me.

My new XDA IIs got a same problem here. It's dead. Anybody got a solution?

Do not worry. I have got the same problem before. I suggest you just flash back to your own rom.

re-flushing rom again , it's happen to me before,if you see usb 2.07 that need to re-flush again

Yes I had thought about to it that way. But my problem is more serious the XDA stop at start screan the computer even can't detected it. I can't even do synch how can I flush it back? Is there any other way like "PC safe mode"? Anybody got a idea?

OK, move battery out wait 15 min , and put it back ,also reboot your pc,if don't work , try to remove and re-install ActiveSync .
try to doing soft reset first.

Yes I tried what you said, still not working. The xda freezed at the first second it start. I think that is why pc can't detected it. Also soft reset will only turn off the xda and it won't start unless you use hard reset.

ok YOU DIDN'T SET ON Boot Loader Mode,TRY by pressing the camera button, power button and then the reset button and hold for a few seconds THAN YOU WILL SEE USB V-2.07 THAN PUT IN THE cradle THAN FLUSH YOU NEW ROM, I THINK SHOULD WORKING.

It do works by press voice record, power, reset together! :? Anyway it works again, just great!!

pda2k went plank after upgrade need your help

I have just bought a new pda2k I=mate and I was trying to be a smart person and update its rom and I think I messed up and now I’m getting a blank screen with a word serial on it and USB when I connect the sync cable. And I didn’t make any backup can some one help out im so sad about this thing

Dont Panic
The first thing is... dont get panic with this.
Just do a soft reset,
put the device in the cradle with active sync on (dont worry of any message that comes on the PC),
double click on the ROM update file
Do the process again.
It will work now!!!

PDA2K upgrade problem

Thank you for your fast reply yes I checked and did all of this but nothing is happening and always I get an error i tried all that has been posted but nothing happend it checks then it stops error I think 106 maybe I have the wrong update verssion how do I get the proper one ? and looking for any more advice, i'm very unhappy the first day I get it and see what happens.

I dunno why ppl are doing the FIRST day a rom upgrade, firstly u should go over the upgrade posts and get familiar with the updates and how to do them. Sorry to say that mate but u deserved ur punishment.

Well since you can't play with your device try reading wiki.

xda IIi problem

I attempted to download the XDA IIi (v1.11.171) software update and during installation the software update was interrupted by my computer rebooting. Now my XDA does not boot and all it displays is "Serial V.1.01". I have tried a hard reset but it still does not boot.
I would appreciate any suggestions you could advise on how I can recover from this situation.

It doesn't sync with the pc anymore though.

Won't sync, but if you plug it in, and see the screen on the pda change to something like USB, it's connected.

It's connected, but when i go to update, it says country id error.

find this file at the ftp "MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe" and use it to upgrade

I fixed the problem by reflashing the rom using the ma_upgradeUt.

after aplying update ROM on my XDA2i (Qtek 2020i) i had a black screen with serial and V 1.01..

Time for an update
I waited 45 minutes for the ROM to update. It never got out of the "Checking the information on your device, Please Wait" mode. I have a bad feeling...
Its my guess that when its in the SERIAL screen and USB screen when plugged in to the Computer that its in Bootloader Mode. Is there a way to get it to load a new ROM? Or, am I trying to revive a "brick."

you have to quit the installer program from task manager, then rerun it, i had to do this with both my xda2 and xda2i it hangs, make sure you dont remove your phone from the cradle or out of boot loader mode.
the second time the program runs it will not find any existing info and just install the OS, it takes about 30 mins

Please go into a little more detail. I go to Windows Task Manager, click on the "Processes" tab but unable to find the "installer program." Thanks...

I tried with my o2 2i XDA but it gets up to 2% then says there is a radio update error. HELP And does anyone have the 1.10 radio update?

well wn i faced this problem in my i-mate pda2,i asked the i-mate support ppl n they sed there wz no way other than dwnloading the original rom n re-installing it,so i guess u guyz hv 2 do da same in ur O2z.this problem happens becoz a simpl 'stik at bootloader' program is loaded in ur extended roms,n remember that extended roms are LOCKED.

Tried the same but dropped during update & now xdalli is completely dead. Read light comes on if in cradle with no battery.
Knowledge is very basic. Any suggestions apreciated.

Ph10a Wont Boot Up.need Help Urgent Thanx

i got a XDA 2 I otherwise known as ,PH10A its not turning on so i cant install rom on phone.taken cmos battery out stil no joy,,please can anyone help me out i put it in the crradle and it does charge up.and on the screen it says USB V 1.02 and thats all and wont do nothing else ..pc wont reconise the phone..i badly need help anyone got any ideas ..

The bootloader message USB V 1.02 does mean that it is in healthy bootloader mode and that it does find a healthy USB connection as well. Activesync will not be able to communicate with it the way it would do if Windows Mobile would have been loaded on your XDA. But the normal ROM flash utilities should be able to access it. Be sure to use ActiveSync version 4.5 to flash WM6, be sure to use a PC running Windows XP, not Vista, be sure to read flashing instructions very carefully, print them and keep them handy during the flashing process. Flashing can take over 30 minutes, be patient!

They come with the HimaUpgradeNoID utility to flash the ROM, it's built into the Tofclock .exe

Serious problem with my kaiser

I am asking if there is anyone kind enough to help me with my kaiser...?
the issue is the following, the first week wm 6.1 was released I upgraded my kaiser with no problem until last weekend.
last weekend navigating through your forum I decided to install TF3D and a hardSPL was recomended, I downloaded the file SJ_JumpSPL1.93-KAIS and run it on my kaiser. I believe the process got stuck on the 3 color display, I rebooted the kaiser and it seemed ok... but I am not able to navigate the web neither by GPRS or 3G...
this morning I tried to reinstall the kaiser from scratch with a RUU named _HTC TyTN II_RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_Brightpoint_US_3.29.422.1_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.70.18.02_Ship
which I downloaded from the HTC website but an error didn't allow it to be complete: ERROR 294: INVALID VENDER ID

my goal is to update my kaiser to the look as the TF3D or the amine 2.0 or the Hiperdragon.

Why do people continue to screw up their phones by not reading, not understanding what they are doing, and doing things half the way. Are you all just rich and don't care about bricking a $500 dollar phone ? You are lucky you are able to recover your phone at all
Jumpspl is not hardspl . Jumpspl transitions your phone from stock spl to hardspl. You cannot flash any rom stock or custom ,that isn't specifically made for your carrier, until you have hardspl on your phone.
Read thoroughly and follow all the steps here, do not take short cuts and do not skip ahead,

i followed your instructions carefully until number 6 on the list. once I tried to run any of the jumpSPL files this error message apeared in my kaiser
"The file 'JumpSPL1.56-KAIS' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
which I did and once again no luck....
Are you patient enough to continue helping me?

What do the numbers say on your bootloader screen ( tricolored)?

it doesnt get that far, as soon as I doble click on the jumpspl file it shows that error message. the tricolored screen never apears

Press and hold camera button and power button and do a soft reset to get into bootloader to see what it says.

Thats because you're not making it go to that screen..
Press and hold camera button and press reset

Go to the wiki and find the original rom from your carrier and flash that ie: AT$T , T- Mobile, orange , 3 etc. Then after doing trhat try all the steps in the flashing for noobs thread again.

the only problem is that I bought the phone not from a carrier but from a store in Portugal and the phone was unlocked...
do you think I can still find the original ROM?

I couldnt find any suitable rom for my device I tried:

with no luck.

I tired to run the file that you told me with no luck.
it showed the same message of before:
ERROR 294: INVALID VENDER ID
what else can I try to fix my phone?
