Hello. I have been reading this http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=InternetOverBluetoothNetwork
And now I'm interested is it possible to connect like that on WM5, without BlueTooth manager from WM3?
Thx
bluetooth manager or other options
Hi, I'm also wandering the same thing as I often used the bluetooth connection to connect to the internet of my PC. Is there any other software or bluetooth manager's from WM3?

HI THERE
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, I HAVE TRIED TO CONNECT MY BLUETOOTH TO MY GPS AND CAN NOT GET IT TO WORK AND I HAVE TRIED TO GET ACTIVESYNC TO WORK THROUGH BLUETOOTH AND CAN NOT GET IT TO WORK. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE XDA MINI S BLUETOOTH AND HOW I CAN FIX IT PLEASE.
1) dont type IN CAPS its annoying as hell to read
2) IMO the bluetooth on the Wizard is a bit flakey sometimes, remove any partnerships you have setup.
Soft reset
Put your GPS in discoverable mode
Use the wizard to scan for bluetooth devices (not in tomtom or any navigation app)
Pair with the GPS if found
3) Make the Wizard discoverable
Use the PC to scan for BT devices, does it see the wizard?
Use the wizard to scan, does it see the pc?
If you can pair with the PC then you need to allow the connection etc, then use the wizard to open active sync, connect via bluetooth, sync
If this works, and the GPS pairs but you are trying to use it with tomtom 5.x you need to add a "new outgoing port" and assign it to the bluetooth GPS, then set the GPS device (in TTN etc) to use that port.
I have an XDA2s (Blue Angle) which uses a bluetooth driver from Broadcom (BT-PPC/PE Version 1.0.0 Build 3900). When I search for my handsfree carkit or my headset I can find them and pair to them....however I cannot connect to them and therefore start using them...any idea what i can do.
Thanks
Solved it
I did a hard reset and when it reloaded the bluetooth connection manager mad the connection with my device first time.........now I'm happy.
Hello,
is the Pan Profile working?
I tried to connect my Him with a DBT-900AP D-Link BT Accesspoint. The Him. is paired with the AP but it cant explore or recognize any services of the AP.
Anyone here who can help?
Phil
Didn't try btpan yet...
Almost all my spare time (which I don't have too much) I spend on gprs thing...
bad news ...
bad news ... is any rom out there which can use Handsfree Headset, GPS and BT Pan without switching the Stack? I hope wm6 can do this soon, because the pan profile is in the stack.
I've try this. My pc tells me that im connected but i can't access. How can I use remote desktop if there is no PAN?
With BT? No way. Can you explore the BT services of your PC? I can connect, too ... but there are no services to explore - so no Pan to use.
Anyone here to give us some hints to solve this Problem?
I recently bought a new router (D-link DI-524). First I had problem accessing internet from the phone via wifi, but I solved it by setting Wifi power option to best performance on the phone. Anyway, when setting Wifi power option to best performance the bluetooth headset/handsfree doesn't work anymore. It connects fint to my Parrot bluetooth handsfree but sountquallity is terrible. I can't hear what the other part is saying.
Any sugestions or similar problems?
same here!
Connect without problem. Sound quality at the other end of the line is terrible, at my end it's fair/ok.
Updated my Parrot MKi9001 with the latest software...
Any clues?
(now trying another ROM on my Diamond; original 1.93 as tested with by Parrot)
Hey guys,
I installed rom of wm 6.1. Now I commute a lot and I used to hook up my phone with the bluetooth enabled sterio in my car, after installing this new rom I'm having problems using the bluetooth. I'd manage to pair it with my sterio but if I end a call it would drop the bluetooth connectivity with the sterio. Sometimes it wont even connect to the sterio/ not detect it. The rom already has bluetooth explorer(which I'm not familiar with). Any ideas suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks.
