I have been a moderators on several Motorola forums, for a while.
Being new to the Kaiser/Tilt World, I have spend the last few weeks reading.
This forum has an extensive amount of information.
I have found the answers to most all questions by reading and using
the Advanced Search Facility here.
For example:
GPS. I got the error message "could not communicate through the intermediate driver."
In advanced search, I typed "GPS intermediate driver"
Limited it to Kaiser Forum.
Solved problem by changing from intermediate driver to Com4 as posted in answer to a similar problem.
If you use the Search Facility here or at any other forum properly you have an excellent chance of answering your own question.
There is also Search XDA-DEVELOPERS using Google which is a sticky posted by mikechannon.
There are currently 38,641 posts in the Kaiser Forum.
Chances are the question has been asked before.
You can save yourself, the moderators and members a lot of time by searching the forum, before posting.
Just my 2 cents.
Totally agree but some of the people that ask questions are completely new to the Forum society.
It helps if we all show a bit of patience and help them along.
Also just try to do a little myself in mopping up the simple questions that appear. WE all had to start somewhere.
When searching, first make your question broad in aspect then narrow it down as you go along. It's actually a lot quicker than reading each thread through and finding its not what you want!

It is just that people do not bother to search for answers.
If you do a search and don't find an answer, by all means post the question.
I can't tell you how many times I have seen the same question asked.
Dear mods
I cant beleive the petition for omnia forum has been closed, the forum was for fair discussion and debate any wrong users or hostile users should have been punished personally but instead ive had a well meaning poll closed down before it had a chance to voice it opinions, i understand the mods issues with some of the writers but why should we all be penolised as a result, the thread was a chance for the omnia users to ask politely for an omnia forum rathetr than a colective bunch of fools posting everywhere. im sorry i find myself writing this as i thort the mods should have been decent enough to close the thread after the petition had been answered directly, i know this isnt a democracy but it is getting a ridiculous

Next week (month, year, etc) the answer will remain NO...
it was a petition it should have been closed until an administator answered the question or cracked under requests

the xet member answer me install the tweak and setup it will be OK.i had try,it's really good. so if somebody had the same problem as me.pls install tweak and setup.

First off @ it1861 - Try and abide by forum rules and search before creating a new thread. Yes, you are correct, the rules do say to try and help others when they ask a question. But you have to understand a lt of questions get asked countless times and people lose their patience when others don't search. Obviously they shouldn't lose their cool but instead should direct you to previous thread, and remind you of forum rules before a mod comes and closes thread.
Secondly @ shruff - Everyone has been a noob at some point including myself and it can be hard at first to navigate site. Please treat others with repsect and the way you would like to be treated. No need to lose your cool, just report thread and a mod will come and assist when available.

I'm not sure, but according to the title of this forum, you're not supposed to post any questions to the other Forum. I don't know how useful it will be if people are limited to posting tips only there.
One good thing about this forum is that because the volume is smaller (for the moment) your posts are closer to the top and thus, easier to find.

i was asking myself the same thing the first day when they created it.
it's redundant to General forum
almost anyone posting will begin with a question, in the end General will become obsolete, and everyone will be using Q&A instead
maybe, but if this sticks to questions only, i like it
can some one post results of a speed test with at&t hspa+ or if they even remotely got any lte?

I think the op should get banned or a warning at the very least! He always makes new threads even though there is already an open thread with his question.
