changing device model after a bad upgrade/downgrade

Hello baby and thanks to all,
this post is for the most experts I think.
I have done a bad upgrade/downgrade to my blue angel vodafone v1620 so,
before I have got an PH20B2 and now I have only a PH20B.
This is terrible!
I can't do anything now, no upgrade, no downgrade and, my radio doesen't work because the radio rom I can't install on it.
So I have only a win mob 2003 WWE without radio.
I have read all from this forum and wiki and I have tried a lot of file but I can't solve this problem without your precios SoS.
Someone could help me?

upgrade the radio with noid app

i have a similar problem, before upgrading i had a ph20a2 and now have ph20a1... flashing with noid doesn't change it back... any suggestions?

i mean MAUpgradeUT_NOID.exe, and leave radio rom only in that folder, and the radio rom should be for your device only, this mess happens when you upgrade to a rom version which is not for your device

OK i know you are new.. and maybe, just maybe a bit nervous because you have a device you cant use..
READ THE DAMN WIKI ALREADY!
There are so many ways to upgrade a rom, or extract it,
Let me give you a little hint.. Use that really bright shiny search button up there.. (ok so its not bright and shiny, but it is there!)
Press the down arrow, choose advanced search,
then type in MaUpgradeUt_noID,
then make sure that the forum is BlueAngel (on the right!)
then hit search...
That will bring all the posts with the words MaUpgradeUt_noID in the BlueAngle section of the forum.
There will be on that explains how to extract the radio for a released update..
and how to install it using MaUpgradeUt_noID instead of the other installers.
Multiple posting is stoopid.. This is the 3rd post i have seen from you regarding your device that you could have solved using your own head, and searching for the answer istead of sitting on your backside waiting for someone to post the link to solve all your problems.
I know this sounds harsh, and scarcastic, and a tad evil... EVERYTHING I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT A HTC DEVICE, I HAVE LEARNED FROM THIS SITE,
and reading the wiki, and google, and all kinds of other services...
there is no shame in asking for help.. just exhaust all other options first!

didn't solve the problem, after flashing only with radio oryginal setup still say wrong device

wm3 to wm6

Hi,
sorry if I am asking a noobie question is it possible to upgrade from wm3 to wm6 by the usual instructions ?
and what is the difference between fresh version and kitchen version ?
I have an O2 XDA II.

Oh man... you aren't reading this forum, are you?...
Yes, you can upgrade from PPC2003 (there isn't such thing as wm3). And the difference... Your "kitchen version" is not a "kitchen version" but "ROM Kitchen", that is, it's a tool for making your own version of ROM. If you want to just upgrade, I encourage you to use "TofClock WM6 AKU0.7.0 Fresh" ROM. Read carefully a whole thread and... go on! If after reading you won't know something, feel free to ask in that thread.

who can help me with upgrading the qtek 9100 to wm6?

i have tried 2 times to upgrade my qtek 9100 to wm6 but no succes.
2 times i had a screen with 3 collers and the text:
IPL 1.03
SPL 1.03.0000
and the wm6 upgrade what i am us (toch no evil wm6) said that i must get newer update utilities.
and then i had the 3 collers screen again. (now i have wm5 again)
i don't no it anymore how to upgrade and if i'm looking on this forum i see alot of text and requirements, so i don't no it anymore.
wich ppc expert can give me a good link or suggestion to help me upgrading to wm6 on my qtek 9100?

Read the sticky on upgrading G3/G4 wizards. I am unfamilliar with that IPL/SPL and wonder if perhaps your phone is not yet unlocked. You won't be able to flash a custom rom until you have CID/SIM unlocked your phone, and G3 phones are easier to work with than G4's. The sticky explains all. Read and re-read it. Then if you still need help, report back with info on what you have tried, etc.
I know this seems like a sh*tty answer, but in all honesty, the stickies pretty much explain all, and a little reading will help you to better understand what you are working with and how things are done.

Can someone build me a rom for my cingular 8125....??
My phone is a cingular 8125 running ipl 2.25.0001/ spl 2.25.0ipl
I have a bunch of software and two roms i have downloaded from here... maybe take the best of both if its ok with everyone else??

The answer my friend is:
If you want a Rom exact to your specs then you need to do the homework and read-up on how to cook a Rom.

yeah i suppose imbeing lazy but i really havent the patience at the moment ......but i am looking into the kitchen as we speak amd its sounding alright....i have so much great software and all combined i would have a hella rom seriously.....
