Downgrade from Mr Clean rom

Can someone help me to downgrade from this rom.
I would like to put back my original one.
I already tried and I didn't managed. I have a Qtek 9100 so normaly it is unlocked.
When I tried to downgrade a got a message 296 saying that the rom is not usuable for my device.
Can someone give me the correct procedure to downgrade..

Downgrade to Button's 1.05 available Here !
Then you can "upgrade" it back to the shipped version.

trying to upgrade to the new t-mobile (2.26.10.2) rom
can anyone help me, i currently have mr clean installed but i cannot update to the new t-mobile rom?

Its 6 in the morning for me now in paris. I give up for now. But I have crashed my spv 3000 trying to downgrade it with a link somebody gave at some point on this site. I think I can just put back the 2.17 IPL and SPl Roms I have. But its a real bother. Anyone can help, so I can do this CID unlock., and then and only then pgrade my rom...

That file you were given is good. ROM files are no longer posted here per M$'s request.
Typically when the install "hangs" it due to a problem with the PC, spyware would be my first guess. Also it's amazing what deleting your Windows temp files and running a CHKDSK /F can do. Try with another PC.
btw, there's a couple of good tutorials that deal with unlocking G3 devices ..

Maybe CID Lock problem ? NEED HELP !!!!

Hi, After the soft reset comand, I removed the battery from my Wizard. After that the followin problem was appear: the phone is bringing up to the splash screen and STOP on this position.I have tried to download another Rom but the problem still is the same. My Phone is not CID unlock and before this, I cooked own rom like is writen here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=271043 . So any idea how to wake-up my phone MDA Vario.

Ok forgive me if I'm wrong here, I don't really want to judge before I know the full story, but seems to me your brain went on strike momentarily. First rule of flashing any unofficial rom CID UNLOCK YOUR DEVICE. Anyways sorry, I just wanted to say something so it doesn't happen to you again, that said, what rom did you try to upgrade to? what rom did you try to downgrade to after that? is your device a G3 or G4?
If your device is a G3 I would recommend downgrading to this rom by xelecin

it will ask you if you want to CID unlock your device at the start so you shouldn't need to worry about forgetting this time , if you can't connect your device to activesync just go into the bootloader (hold the camera, voice dial buttons while pressing the reset button) and once it connects run the set-up.
Oh another thing before I forget..... do some searching and read up a bit, because this is a pretty common topic on this forum, best of luck and hope everything works out ok. If not, report back.
*edit* I just noticed the thread that you linked to, I actually wasn't aware that this was possible, but anyways I think it's still much safer to CID unlock your device if possible, and another thing you might try replying in that thread if it doesn't work out since they should be more knowledgeable in the matter..... and that would help keep the forums less cluttered *edit*

I tried also to download also and Molski's 2.26.10.2 AKU2.3 Rom a.k.a. 2.26.10.2 Final Edition Rom, but the problem is the same : The splash screen is running and STOP and.... nothing.
I can go to bootloader and can download new rom, but I can't start fhe phone.

Yeah I know these forums aren't the easiest in which to look for info. So you can go into the bootloader, that's good. Don't try to go to a AKU2.x rom or later, keep it under that, so no 2.26 roms at all. 105, or 108 roms should be good.
Did you try the rom from the link I provided or the one on the thread? and afterwards did it go into the phone at all? My friends MDA had a similar problem last week, caused by the same thing, though in your case I see the SPL isn't updating when you install new roms on his it was the os that wasn't updating, but as soon as I installed that rom I recommended it booted up fine, then I updated his device to molski's 2.3.
I'll check back in a few so let me know how's it going.

masr1979 I have tried the rom you give me, but it look like there is some things I don't understand: When I start the exe file i have choice <continue> .Whet I type <c> 2(two) time the soft tell me <no device found> and order me to continue with copy ???. Forget all about unlocking. Until you can boot the device completely it'll never work.
Try and install an official 2.x ROM on your device.
My suspicion is that you originally has a G4 device, which is bad because if you DID have a G4 you have a brick now...

Can you remember your phones old ipl/spl? for your sake I hope it wasn't something in this format 2.XX.000X.

Of course I'm not sure, but I thing it was 2.21. Anyway did you think that is posible to cook my own rom in G4? I'm totally confused.

Thanks, but I try to find oficial rom but without success. And very interesting thing I found.. when I start to upload new rom the soft start to check my old rom and after that tell me that i have GE (german) language, but my old was WWE ?
Is it posible some one to give me some link to official 2.x ROM but for T-mobile german language.

Well the other day I tried finding that german rom for a while.... that search was going nowhere, I saw this thread, I don't know if you might want to check into it and maybe try it out. There's mixed results apparently but who knows

Problem: flashing 8125

hello i recently tried flashing my cingular 8125 with the crossbow rom and went all good until it stopped at 96% were i got a error and was instructed to recover bla bla. the bootloader was recovered and it still connects to my computer with usb...but ever time i try to restart the rom flasher i get ether a 300 error wrong updater or a 274 error comunications. i have looked and looked but cant find anything on what to do. if you have any info that could be of help it would be GREATLY apreciated. thanks in advance.

Is your device a G3 or G4?
You probably need to flash an official rom again (Try the T-Mobile one, if that works then you are CID unlocked. If it doesn't then flash the Cingular one and then do the CID Unlock again _IF_ this is a G3).
If neither of those work, download the Wizard Love ROM (Search on PirateBay for Wizard_Love) and try flashing it, and then downgrading and CID Unlocking from it.

umm im pretty sure its a G3, i went by the thing on this website that says if it has xx 2 zeros then its G3 and xxx 3 zeros G4.
umm ive tried the offical HTC 8125 update but it doesnt work ether...is it the same as the cingular one?
im downloading the tmobile one right now ill let you know how it turns out.

If you don't see .0001 (or something like that) then you are a G3. But it sure helps when people give us full details, otherwise we are just guessing (and guessing can lead to a bricked phone because we don't have the full picture).

Give it a try, but if you can't get the official Cingular one to install, I doubt the TMobile one will flash either.

ummmm ya....i tried the t-mobile one...and nothing...twice....and i couldnt find the wizard one....so out of desperation(even though it failed like 20 times i tried the HTC one again...)....and it worked!!! idk how...but it did....lol...its now updated.....and i dont think im going to change it any more...

A suggestion is to remove Storage Card when flashing, I've personally had issues with that. And if the flash fails, reboot the PC and try again. Deleting Windows temp files and a CHKDSK are also very helpful.

but always when i want to downgrade my rom with the mentioned button 1.05 rom it went till 98% an then my wizard didnt do anything until i reboot it.
with the standard o2 rom i have the lokiwiz didnt work. but what could be the fault ? what can i try to get it work ?

Who knows, you didn't tell anything useful about your phone or what ROMs or anything else. Try the link in my sig. Read it, do ALL the steps, if you think you can skip something--don't, if "it doesn't work"--then you didn't follow all the steps.

I think this may be part of the problem... How long did you wait? All roms stall at some point and can stall for like 5 mins (sometimes more). Don't do ANYTHING, unless your PC gets an error. Its still working. If it sits for more than 10 mins then you probably do have a problem, but it can sit for what seems like forever sometimes. Just be patient.

ipl/spl: 2.21(o2 ger rom)
gsm : 02.19.11 (o2 ger rom)
os:2.21.4.3 (o2 ger rom)
i hope that is all the important info u need.
i'll try the link from demontefixo and let u know if it work.

and it stucked on step G3.4 when i want to flash the wizard_love rom with this error:
ERROR [300] : INVALID UPDATE TOOL
This error message will appear when you use the incorrect RUU version to upgrade.
what did i do wrong? i followed step by step like demontefixo said for 3 times.

This is an error that you can get on G4 devices. What are you doing in step G3.4? Read G4.6!

but in the tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298613
is described how to determine the wizard type and my ipl/spl is 2.21 and thats G3 device.

That error indicates you aren't CID Unlocked. Is your phone booting now? or are you at the bootloader (rainbow) screen? If you are at the bootloader, then flash your official rom to get a working device. Once you have a working device, then go to step G3.6 and do the CID Unlock procedure.
ALso remove your SD card while you are doing all of this until you get it CID Unlocked and onto the TMobile 2.26 official rom (G3.8).
AND yes, you have a G3, so you don't (and shouldn't) be in the G4.x steps.

This is my last post for the day as I can't handle anymore of this (its not just you peran, but the other half dozen posts I've read in the last hour or so where people just aren't following the instructions they are given. These methods are tried and true, and they work. And yes, this is the way to CID Unlock your phone unless you pay to have it done)... In a previous post to you, it was stated you had to get back to an official rom first. Have you done this (your replies indicate you just continue to do other roms)? You need to get the latest rom from your carrier and get your device working again. Get it all charged up, pull out your SD card, then try flashing back to the button rom (I would also suggest you try pulling the button rom down again in case there is something wrong with your previous download of it).

i did it like u suggested mfrazzz. i know that my phone isnt CID unlocked. but that is my problem. i read the mentioned article x-times and did it like described but the problem is : when i downgrade to button 1.05 rom then my pda stuck at 98% and i get the message from the update program on my pc that the downgrade was successful. but it isn't. why? till this step u cant do much wrong i think... :-(

Have you flashed back to the official rom from your carrier? Until you do that and get your device back working there is no point in trying to continue to flash the button rom (or any other rom). You have to get back to your carrier's official rom first. None of your posts indicate you have done that.

i always went back to the official rom from my provider and this always works perfectly. i tried it today again but always the same stucking at 98%.
i did it STEP BY STEP but it didnt work.
is there another rom i can use than button 1.05 ?

Is there no other rom then the one from button to downgrade my ipl/spl to 1.xx ?

I tried it but it didnt help.
now i used Xelecin's 1.08 rom and this one worked. then i used lokiwiz and it was successful. but then i flashed the tmobile 2.26 rom and this worked but i couldnt use my sim-card any more. always when i insert my pin it said unknown sim and then crashes. i thought i sim-unlocked the wizard? another problem was when i want to flash the official o2 rom it said unknown vendor id...but i used before lokiwiz and there were no errors...and the last question, i know there are many now, where do i insert the sim-code i got from lokiwiz?
i hope someone have some answers...thx before

Hey guys.
i just wanner say first im a noob at phones so dont flame me.
Right, i got a brand new t-mobile compact 2 (htc charmer) with t-mobile rom on it. i really wanner upgrade to Windows mobile 6 so badly but i cannot flash my rom cus it aint unlocked.
So i tried doing it myself with the unlocker this website suggests, but that always fails .
What i think happend is this mda has been updated to the latest t-mobile rom. Which is:3.8.2.21 WWE and the unlocker is only for the old versions.
I actually dont know im right at all. but if anyone can get back to me either by pm, email or If you know your stuff please dont hesitate to add me on msn, and talk me though it. trust me its alot easier to do that then wait for thousens of emails.
Anyway any help will be amazing. remeber im a noob so please dont flame me, i just want to be able to experince the mobile 6 that all you guys are.

You don't have to unlock your phone to flash WM6. Considering you've already flashed the latest t-mob rom, just go to TouchFLO ver. 2.1 thread in Charmer Mobile 6, download the rom, read the instructions and flash. It will work.

I run the flasher bat file the screen stays completely still nothing happens and i donno why. is it cus its not cid unlocked. i know you said it dont, but one of the guys said it did.

my charmer wasnt cid unlocked too, but i could install [vlodeck TouchFLO WM6 ver. 2.1]
it can be, that you have to install t-mobile AKU 3.3 from handy-faq.de
