enalarm
hi found this on another forum the problem is it is on a warez site but i think it is freeware i can pm the link to you if you wish to look at
Requirements: Windows Mobile 5.0 or Windows Mobile 2003 SE
Overview: The MP3 alarm clock for Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 2003 SE is now available in the version 3.2.4 featuring even more new incredible functions.
Features:
The build in alarm clock of Windows Mobile lacks in functionality and usability. That is where enAlarmPPC 3.2.4 takes place. With this program you can set multiple alarms with their own playlist of MP3, WAVE, Windows Media or Midi files. An alarm can be set to start daily at a given time or periodicly at selected weekdays.
Particularly the snooze function of the build in alarm is extremly poorly. With enAlarmPPC the snooze delay can be set indivually. With a simple tap on the screen the snooze function is activated and the playlist continues after the set time.
The ingenious quiz function prevents late riser from activating the snooze function too often while in doze. After a configurable amount of snooze activations the quiz starts. Now it is not possible to activate snooze again until one has solved a simple (but with times increasing difficulty) math calculation. That way the brain needs to at least for short work active and so the wake up process is initiated.
Further it was concidered that the sound files are faded in when played, so the user will not affright when an loud starting sound is played.
Last but not least a title and a message can be entered for any alarm which is largely displayed on the screen when the alarm starts.
Available Languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Turkish
Version History v3.2.4: new functions:
- The current time is now displayed on the main screen.
- A warning will be shown if no sound file is selected.
- A button to test an alarm added.

Hi,
I just tried the enAlarmPPC and would like to uninstall it. No problem except now that every time I do a soft reset, I would get an error message saying that it can find the enAlarmPPC.exe.
How can I fix it? Where can I edit the AutoStart list?
P.S. I am running Sprint Mogul WM6
Thanks!

Notification Repeat???

Does anyone know how to get sound notifications to repeat like for instance voicemail. I would like it to keep reminding me every 5 mins letting me know that there is new voicemail until I have either checked it or dismissed it.
Thanks in advance
Please search for "How to Enable Repeat Play Audio Sound Notifications in Windows Mobile"
You will find the solution!
Notification Repeat WM6 professional
Here is my version of a MortScript to enable notification for devices running WM6.1 Professional.
This script can be modified to work on WM6 Standard devices also. To run on WM Standard script should be modified to read proper registry path for events. Before running this script please install MortScript(Takes ~85kb of memory).
The script checks for any missed calls or new SMSes every 3 minutes and vibrates in case there is such event. This notification(vibration) repeats 5 times and then stops. However vibration will stop immediately in case user reads the SMS or checks the missed call. Also anytime a call is missed or message is received the repeat counter is reset to 0 and notification will repeat again 5 times for the new event.
The script can be modified using any text editor for different vibration patterns, also to play a sound. (Please refer mortscript manual for commands to play a .wav file)
Also the monitoring interval and repeat count can be adjusted. Also other events(voicemail, MMS etc.) can be monitored.
Note: MortScripts can be dangerous, malicious scripts can wipe out data from your device. Always check the script before running on the device.
General Disclaimer: I'm not responsible for any damages to your device by using this script.

Must Have / Must Do Tweaks

Having reset my Tilt / Kaiser / Tytn II more than once, I am compiling a list of tweaks that I can't live without and reinstall every time.
If you use a "MUST HAVE" app/tweak/rom, please post it, including the link to the discussion/download, including a brief description and a SHORT pro / con list.
Please post questions and opinions about the app/tweak/rom in the forum referred to in the post. Questions and flames about a tweak etc. should be posting in those forums.
If your tweak/cab/app is less than mainstream, could you put in a link to it in your posts?

Cons: Contact font is a bit small to read. Does not display contact photo.

There is already a thread for CAB files and a thread for tweaks. Why another one???
because he wants a "must have" set, which is really more an opinion than not. but not a bad idea.
here's what I do so far when I do a new rom
set up my emails
change today screen
change clock font
install quick menu
install tomtom
install my games
install sprite backup
install or turn on HTC task manager
install spb pocket plus and change some settings
install siriuswm5
install MS voice command 1.6
load up kaiser tweaks and do my normal tweaks
load HHC and change some other things
great thread
I was going to start something like this anyway.
XDA Live Rom
HTC Home
& HTC Home Customizer
HTC Audio Manager installed to windows directory
HTC Photo Album
Either Cyberon Voice Dial or MS Voice Command
Rush Hour Game - need to find more (bustem isn't bad)
I keep the shortcuts created by Advanced Config
TomTom - Killer App
PTT button switched to voice dial
hold PTT switched to vibraswitch (vibrate to ringer and vice versa prog)
A task manager (HTC for now)
The retouched dialer (for bigger buttons, with sound turned off)
opera mobile
This black background (take off the .zip so it's a .tsk again)
View attachment Spb_Black47.tsk.zip
I have more coming. There's the streaming media app needed to get youtube videos.

do you have an advanced config that works?
advanced config
yes, but I'm kinda squeemish about stability so I don't use it just to be safe. I use the shortcuts b/c I find them useful, e.g. screen off -good for music

"Profiles" program to automatically change settings?

Any WM program that works on Tilt that allows for different profiles based on time? I had a simple program for my palm that I could set to change sound, brightness, etc settings based on the time of day. For example, it would put my phone in Silent mode Monday through Friday at 8:30 (when I would start work) and switch back at 5:00 when I was done. Anything like this?
Several. I use PhoneAlarm. Does all those things (unsure of brightness), SPB Phone Suite, SBSH PhoneWeaver, Pocket ZenPhone.
All of these tools allow you to automatically shift your phone base on time, calendar status, power status, etc. Unfortunately, none are free. Google for Zenphone's website.
www.sbshsoftwarehouse.com - spb phone suite
www.sbsh.net - PhoneWeaver
www.pocketmax.net - Phone Alarm
I use SBSH Phoneweaver and find it extremely useful. It has the ability to set profiles based on time and also auto profile if I have a meeting or something (such as change notification to vibrate). That said, PhoneAlarm is the No.1 marketshare profile program.
Profiles
I recommend this:

Where did the English language pages go?
Daniel, when I press the English flag, the page displayed is still in Spanish.
Also, do you have a functional comparison between your 2 apps?
Gracias.

CradleCare for windows mobile?!

I am a recovering Palm user from the early Treo release. Back on the Palm OS there was a handy piece of software called CradleCare which allowed you to have the phone do some automatic things while on a cradle (power and syncing to the computer)...such as a photo slide show on the screen and what I really liked, it would automatically forward the phone to a preset phone number. I found this invaluable as I would plop it in my cradle at home and it would automagically have my calls come to my land line.
I know they don't make a windows mobile version but I was wondering if there was anything else out there like it. Anyone? Thanks!

Check out an application called "phoneAlarm Pro" (LINK) , in phone alarm, you have automatic profile switching for events such as "cradle", "night" etc..
In the "cradle" profile you can set up auto call forwarding to a specified number. When you disconnect the phone from the comp, the profile switches automatically to "General" and the call forwarding gets cut...
Hope this helps...
Phoneweaver
Phoneweaver works well, you can have different triggers types for different profiles.
Time, power, manual etc...

Profiles for PPC

I have been using Brett PPCProfiles V3.0 for almost 2 and a half years. I really liked the flexibility in the program as well as the features. Have not been able to find any program that could match this programs features (atleast not by my standards). All good things come to an end, and I wanted to upgrade my profiles feature. I have gone through the free PPC software site but did not come up with something as good as PPCProfiles.
Has anyone out there used a program similar to this? I m most intesested in the feature that syncs your sound profiles with calendar. Also, should have the flexiblity of automatic profile switching depending on day and the time.
I use PhoneAlarm. It is great as it is very customisable with skins, etc etc. It is commercial though. Just Google it. They may even have a free trial I cannot remember.
another commercial piece of software is SPB Phone Suite. Really like the way it handles profiles. There is a 10 day trial or something.
Also commercial but does all of the above is SBSH's PhoneWeaver. In addition to just the sound profile it can also adjust your network settings (Bluetooth, WiFi, etc.), your backlight settings and can execute programs. Triggers can be day/time, calendar status, or ActiveSync/AC Power connect/disconnect.
I'd guess the SPB app is pretty similar.
Thank you all. I'll give the SPB a shot. I heard its reviews from a colleague, he's pretty happy with it. BTW PPCProfile also could also handle bluetooth based on profile but not Wifi, so SPB becomes even more interesting.
Phone alarm is the most advanced of these.
The current version offers the ability to customize everything from the Email/ SMS/ MMS/ IMS programs you use, to your default SIP, full sound-backlight-radio-wifi-push update rate...controlled by time/ appointment category, priority. It will even load new today screen skins based on the profile you want. There are hundreds of skins available.
Simply put, phoneAlarm Pro is the first app I install on any new phone. It is the most important one to me for full control of my phone's behavior.

I agree 100% with this.
I'll +1 on PhoneAlarm. I wouldn't go without the automatic profile switching for work and meetings.. Work is quieter, with some more subtle alerts, and my "meeting" profile is nearly muted and most alerts only vibrate.
Plus other manual profiles, such as (daytime) Car (very loud and bright), Night Car (very loud, but dim backlight), etc etc...
Can't do without it.
Thanks guy, just downloaded a Trial for PhoneAlarm. Giving it a run now....
