New M2000 UK Rom on Orange Site

According to coolsmartphone.co.uk there is a new UK M2000 ROM available at Orange website today :? Operator Version 5.40.1.179
http://www.orange.co.uk/M2000_patch/

Has anyone tried this yet - Ive tried the WM5 version and after fiddling with wm5 for days and finding it slower than wm2003 I reverted to the imate 1.40 rom for performance & stabilty - Anyone think is it worth upgrading to this one?

this is really 1.40 rom, its not win2005

After being a user of an SPV m2000 (HTC Blue Angel) for over a year, I've unfortunately decied I need a "proper" phone, and have now got the Motorola v3i as well.
However, shortly before i upgraded, I got a replacement SPV, with an upgraded rom set from my original one - details below.
Couple of questions:
1. Are these upgrades useful to anyone, or are they readily available out here anyway?
2. Is it possible to dump ALL of them in one go to my older SPV?

The latest ROM version is 1.42.00WWE shipped from T-Mobile and the Radio is 1.15.00.Check Wiki.

U DO can upgrade your rom with a WWE one,e.g.the version I listed above.Also,check Wiki.

for Windows Mobile SE latest version availlable is 1.42.00 and for Radio its v 1.15.00

Thanks man, but how do i upgrade ROM & Radio Versions? about the WM5 i got the link but the versions are there any link or something for them, thanks again.

There are instructions in wiki page on how to upgrade your device..
Just read, its so easy mate..
use maupgradeuti_noid.exe instead of the included upgrade utlity

Hey just a question the latest SE version is 1.42 but its not O2 so if we upgrade to 1.42 the o2 screen will change to TMOBILE>>???

please could some one helping me to find radio rom version 1.15 or newer

Installing WM5 on Imate Pda2K

Hi guys, i'm a new user of this pocket pc.
Can i install Wm5 on this phone? I've already Wm 2003 SE, can i upgrade it?
I'm italian so i ask you if there is a comprehensive guide to make this and a rom which let me install it in italian.

Did you ever try to use search function?
Start with Wiki for blueangel, you have ALL needed information there (maybe not enough warnings - as any flashing may destroy your device).
