If you flash the TMo U.S. production ROM you can't make any changes, they are "hidden".

By default, the MMS provisioning from T-Mobile USA prevents editing the MMS settings.
You can fix this by editing the following registry key:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ArcSoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI]
"EnableServerEdit" = DWORD:0
Turn the 0 to 1 with a registry editor and VoilĂ !
You will be able to edit the MMS server settings in ArcSoft!
I hope his helps.

-Thanks ,can you help me to set up winwap on T-mobile 2.26 rom.

the registry key is useful. thx..eluth

xda mins vodafone uk chip mms settings needed (cab file)

Hi can anyone help me ?..... I have a 02 xda mini s, but im using a vodafone UK contract chip, I need the mms settings. I belive there is a cab file out there someware, if so could you please tell me were i can download it, or could you please email me it.. thanks for your help in advance Dave......
This worked for me
I set up the MMS settings according to the following and then ran the cab below which made the folder visible in Messaging. Don't know if it would work the other way round or if the cab does anything without doing the settings but, like I say, it worked for me -- if it ain't broke...
Settings/Connections tab/Connections/Tasks tab/Work (or whatever you call the 2nd section):
Add a new modem connection...
Name: Vodafone Live!
modem type: Cellular Line (GPRS)
Access Point Name: wap.vodafone.co.uk
User name: wap
Password: wap
Domain: blank
No extra settings under Advanced
Finish
Proxy Settings tab: Both boxes ticked
Proxy server: blank
Advanced: choose WAP
Server: 212.183.137.12
Port: 9201
User name: wap
Password: wap
Domain: blank
OK
Messaging app/Menu/MMS Configuration/Servers tab/New:
Server name: Vodafone MMS
Gateway: 212.183.137.12
Port number: 9201
Server address: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms
Connect via: Vodafone Live!
Sending size limit: 200K (your choice)
WAP version: WAP 1.2
OK
Then run cab to create additional folder under Messaging. Good luck!

MMS and AKU3.2

has anyone been able to make MMS and AKU3.2 work togeather if so how?
Yes I have. You either have to manually configure it or get the cab files are for you carrier. Who is your carrier?
If it is Cingular follow this link and thank Shogun Mark.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=280395
T-mobile is the carrier
Try these cabs. I extracted these from and extended ROM on the FTP.
thanks barry trying now
should i install in certain order and what do they do?
No particular order just do them all at once. They should confugure your mms server settings so that they will send and use the proper server.
yes, those cabs i posted are what i consider necessary cingular cabs, one does the mms, one does the media net and isp connections, the other does the mappings.. order shouldnt matter but if you wanted to do them in order of the cingular ext rom it would be like this
P_Conn_CWS_APR12_Wizard.cab
P_Cingular_CM_Mappings_10411101.sa.cab
MP-Customization-Wizard(AKU2.0)-CingularWithCamera-060406.CAB
i have personally installed them in any order i feel like at the time and it does still work
You didn't specify which T-Mobile you were using. If it's T-Mo US, I got the info for you inf you don't want to use the cabs:
1. Make this RegKey to enable editing of the MMS Settings (may be there already):
HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\Arcsoft MMS UA\Config\UI\EnableServerEdit
Change value to 1.
2. Here are the settings from the stock T-Mo US 2.26 ROM:
Name: T-Mobile MMS
Gateway: 216.155.165.50
Port: 8080
Server Address: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Connect via: T-Mobile MMS (My SDA (Tornado) uses "Internet")
Max. Sending Size: 300K
WAP Version: WAP 2.0
Is there any other cabs that are need to be installed because I dont see the mms folder under tools options an yes my carrier is t-mobile usa I have installed the cabs that were posted above still don't see the option can some please help

The option is in Messenging.
* Go to any of your messaging types (Outlook Mail, Text Messages, Yahoo! Mail, etc.)
* Select Tools-->Options
* Select MMS and either tap it with stylus, or select it with the D-Pad
* Select the "Server" tab and you can create/modify settings
That's what I tried

do i use the GPRS connection for mms or do i need to setup a wap2 connection?
i have molskis rom *not the 30mb* on a g4 wizard..... and ive used shoguns cab files which work great for media net settings.... i get the mms folders, i will show that its sending.. but just dissapers.. .and it stays in my outbox..... then sometimes i get a message back saying user barred... me and shogunmark are both baffled by this
Does anybody have MMS settings for Cingular BLUE?
TIA,

Setup network manually?!

I just installed Papa's ROM, SMS and Phone are working.
Anything to do with my data is not.
I have read about using the NetworkWizard.cab, but I also read that you can set it up manually. How do I do this, or can somebody point me to a how-to guide?!
Thank you,
sKyZ

Use the cab then uninstall it. your settings will stay.
It really is easier to to it that way than manually.
All you really have to setup is the MMS/Data settings.
Do a search for [Your Carrier] Data or MMS settings and you'll find what you need.
For Example
Tmobile :
server name: tmobile mms
Gateway: 216.155.165.50
Port: 8080
Server address: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Connect via: The Internet
Sending limit: 300k
WAP version: WAP 2.0

trying to send MMS txt!

Hi,
I have PDAVIET ROM WM6.1 but since up updating the rom I cant send or setup MMS txt!!! I'm on O2
Any chance anyone out there knows how to fix this?
try these settings
Access point name: payandgo.o2.co.uk
Username: payandgo
Password: password
Data bearer: GPRS
Gateway IP (proxy) address: 193.113.200.195
Session mode: Permanent
Port number: 8080 or 9201
URL address: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
if u want full size pics rather than the crappy 5k ones u will get u need to tweak your reg
/ HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader\Profile
relace with - http://www.htcmms.com.tw/gen/wizard-1.0.xml
/ HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader\User-Agent
replace with - Xda Mini S/arcsoft-mmsua-3.0.0.xx
