I've installed Duttyroy's HTC Touch Rom.
Now I want the AT & T Deathstar as splash screen (Cause that one rox)
I've downloaded: at&t_deathstar.nbh from this forum.
But when I throw it in: KaiserCustomRUU.exe it does not install the splash screen.
It keeps saying: ERROR 204 : File Open.
Can someone help me?
I think the splash screen isn't correct. Can someone re-make the splashscreen into a nbh.
Thx.
Does someone know? PLz help.
Hello everyone,
I bought a blackstone.
I have a problem with Splash screen..
My Blackstone loads 4 splash screen:
1. Smart Mobility (non animated)
2. China Mobile - DOPOD (animated)
3. HTC Logo (animated with sound)
3. WinMo logo
if you wish you can watch splash process from my video http://www.4shared.com/file/171299331/c90e702/CIMG0103.html
My problem is to be unable to remove or change 2.nd China Mobile DOPOD picture?
How can I do this?
Methods I have tried:
1. Hard Reset
2. Flashing many ROMs including Official ones
3. Flashing HardSPL
4. Flashing my own SPlash.nbh
Thanks in advance.

splash screen 2:
I think you have flashed a rom with custom boot splash screen, so if you flash to a different ROM that does not include one, you will still see the screen during boot up. Go to this thread for instructions on changing your initial (boot) splash screen.
splash screen 3:
simply chose one gif file rename it to animated.gif and after that copy to windows folder
splash screen 4:
same as 3 only this is another file welcomehead.192
I have read whole of the thread you advised, but they are about flashing/changing the 1st splash screen. But I can change 1.st splash screen anyway..
My problem is not to be able to change 2nd splash screen..
If you watch the video

I want to change screen of China Mobile DOPOD screen..
is there any idea for 2.nd splash screen in video?
Solved,
Step by step:
1. generated Splash.nb
2. in htc rom tool, devices.ini (or other that contains device configurations) file, I replaced 0x600 to 0x601 to change second splash screen..
3. generated nbh, flashed nbh
credits go to cmonex..
thanks cmonex..
same problem here
I have the same problem with the Dopod splash screen, but I didnt understand what you actually did to fix it (I am new at this). Could you maybe upload a the file that you used to change the splash screen? Thanks.
Since I got my HTC desire HD from someone selling their T-mobile upgrade (I'm on O2), I've been using Android Revolution HD ROM with a full wipe before each flash, but the splash screen is still the T-mobile logo, dose the full wipe not clear everything out of the phone? I presume the splash screen lives in the phone and not on the SD card.
I'm sure Mike1986 ROM is based on the stock HTC release so would have the HTC logo splash screen.
You need to flash the splash screen from fastboot. Check the splash image thread in this forum. It will direct you and has some splash screens for download.

Don't we already have the TWRP working for our phones, or am I wrong that the bootloader warning message isn't just some splash screen that can be easily replaced, can someone who has worked with splash screens on a treble device try out how it works for us, if we change the splash screen will it be able to remove the Warning message?

I tried the method from Mi A1 forum - flashing modified splash.img (I used the one for Mi A1) but it didn't work, it only replaced white AndroidOne logo after the warning, so I don't think it's just a splash screen
