Is there a way to unlock the Wizard when IPL/SPL is 2.26 or newer, so one can WRITE on the Extended ROM?
I found some information about TrueFFS on the M-System site (http://www.m-sys.com)
inferring that a partition could be password protected.
Is this the case for the Ext_ROM with IPL/SPL 2.26?
Has anyone looked into why the unlock process works on the Prophet but not on the Wizard?

Hi All,
I unlocked my device (cingular 8125,wizard), changed cid with spv services to 11111111, updated my rom after. this worked fine, but when I restart the device it appears the sim lock window.
now I Have :
ipl 2.25
spl 2.25
gsm 02.25.11.1
I tried with lokiwiz 02/03 to get the new code but it appears a crazy code in the dos box. See please attached file. Does anybody know what is wrong ??
Can anybody help me ? I can´t use my device at this time.

Hi, I have a Qtek A900 (Operator Claro/Brazil), and it's G4.
Is there any way to unlock and CID unlock it for free? I tried lokiwiz02b but faild.
And... Is there a way to upgrade it with Qtek 9100 unlocked rom? The Qtek 9100 has much more upgrades than mine...

As of yet there's no way to CID unlock a G4 device for free... check out the G4 section to get more info...

Try flashing an official ROM. You really need to give us more information about your phone and what you did to get it "stuck".

Do you have a G3 or G4 device?
Did you read the stickies on unlocking your device?
What did you do to make your device get stuck in bootloader?
What is your current IPL/SPL
Who is your carrier?
Why do you want to flash your device and do you truly need to?
If you have not personally unlocked your device then it most probably IS locked. CID lock is not the same as SIM lock.
*IF* your device is a G3 I suggest flashing the button 1.05 rom and then following the steps in the unlocking sticky. *IF* your device is a G4 reflash your carrier's latest rom and then find the G4 unlocker website link in the G4 section of this forum.

If you went back to 1.05 from a 2.xx ROM you'll need to unlock it again. (if you have already then...) After 1.05 ROM you need to go to a 2.xx (we suggest the TMobile 2.26 production ROM). After you have done the 2.26, you can then flash a custom WM5 or Faria's WM6 ROM. You can only "upgrade" FROM a 2.xx ROM.

I install 1.05 then I unlock CID then my device not logon (it stoped in splash screen)
I try install ROM 2.26 but this not repair my proplem

Does anybody have a good solution how to downgrade SPL 3.08 to version 2 or 1
G4 or G3? CID locked or unlocked?
Best is to use original ROM from provider to downgrade. In any case be sure to go from 3.08 to 2.xx and only then to 1.xx (although i see no point for going so low, except for G3 CID unlock)

In this case it is G3 phone.
The problem is that I cant install WM6 firmware and I suspect that the phone is not unlocked properly.
I dont have any ROM from original provider.
Use WST to check the CID status. But i suspect that it is already CID unlocked or you wouldn't be able to write a 3.08 SPL to it (unless you used an original provider's ROM to upgrade)

I used WST and it said that Phone is CID locked
But i could unlock it anyway with WST!
