wiki,help me!radio updater error

thank all guys in this great forum firstly as a new blueangel boy!
i get the o2 ce rom(1.31.00) and ext rom(1.31.139) from http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Upgrades
and update them successful.
but when i want to update radio rom(1.06.02),there are some error mark as "radio bootloader verion error" "pls contact HTC..." in my pc screen.
my pda marked as "USB" on the top of pda screen and "v2.02a" at the bottom before i start updating.and now, it is stoping at update radio rom.
my radio verion is 0.33. what should i do?why some guys' bootloader verion is "v2.06"?

Sorry that nobody has got back to you.
The way i read your info is that you did a 1.31 o2 upgrade with no problem, the replaced the radio and ran the upgrage again, which failed and you are stuck in boot loader.
The 1.31 rom is a type II encription rom, the radio is a Type I. Thus the exe files to do the upgrade are not the same which leads to a dead device.
Rerun the 1.31 upgrade.
go to wiki and get the 1.10 radio and its upgrade files, run that.

Charmer stuck in bootscreen.

Hi,
My charmer is stuck at the bootscreen after trying to flash the charmer_touch rom. First I did a cid unlock and then the update. It finished without errors.
Then I flashed the official AKU3 update from tmobile (because the charmer is tmobile germany branded). Flashed without problems (in bootloader mode) but then the same problem! Even with the AKU 2.x update.
When trying to hardreset I only get "format error".
What can I do?

Yeah, thanks. How can I integrate it in the RUU package? Because when I unpack the update and start it from somewhere of my HDD it won't work! Where is the standard directory to run it from?

you should place it in the same folder where the contents of the RUU were unpacked

The problem is, that I cant see/decide where the RUU is unpacking itself. When it unpacks and waits for my input, I tryed searching for the files that were unpacked, but no luck! Strange.

So, nevermind the previous problem with paths... figured it out (path was too long)
My new problem:
Updated with the no-id ruu but still format error what now?
Worked fine with prophet rom. CLOSED.

i have
ipl 3.08
spl 3.08.0000
gsm 02.69.21
os 3.8.2.22
after hard reset i get format failed
what can i do??

i fix it
i get unlock code from imei-check
then CID unlock
and then i make sd card backup with MTTY_updateROM.exe
after next start it copy all back to the mda and now its all ok
and now format works

Rom Downgrade

Hi all,
I own an I-mate Kjam with an official ROM 2.18.9.1 ITA. I would like to flash my kjam with a not official ROM, because they stopped to upgrade this device.
In order to flash the new ROM I should need to CID unlock my device and to do this I should downgrade to the ROM 1.xx.x.x.
I tried to do that but an error occurred and stopped the process. This error come out because it isn't possible to downgrade from this Rom version (this is the meaning of the error message). The same is written in the I-mate official site, "it is not possible to come back from this ROM version".
Is it possible to find out an alternative way the flash my device?

HTC Herald. Actualy i don't own the phone , but there is someone i know that did this and i would like to know if it is possible to be fixed

I've never received that error. What rom are you/they trying to flash?

Your SPL and IPL are too low. Please update using the official WM6 ROM first.
If you have HardSPL, then you may have just bricked the phone as you wrote over the SPL with an SPL meant for a higher SPL device.

and how can we repair it. i tried flashing official wm5 rom, official wm6 rom and because i canont instal via usb(it begins the instalation then "try a newer update utility"), tried no vendor utility(still not working), i tried sd flashing but i get "sercurity level not cleared"(if using heradiag.nbh) and if not using heradiag.nbh it's checking the sd card and does nothing.
I'm using only official roms.

I have a G4 wizard running TNT 5.0 - here is some info about it.
TNT 5 Build 18125.0.4.2 (old, I know)
Windows Mobile 6.0 with touchflo
Radio version 02.25.11
IPL: 2.21.0001
SPL - 2.21.0lip
When I tried to update to the newest TNT(19213) Rom available last night, I got the "Error[300] Invalid Update Tool" message, so I thought it was a bad rom.
I then downloaded the older version (TNT 19209) and I got the same exact error message.
So finally, I went to the HTC website, and downloaded the official ROM, and then I got the same error again! I do not know what I am doing wrong, I have flashed roms a few times, and I have never had this problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

First off all,never flash any rom which includes IPL/SPL in it,so don't flash even official rom as your phone is 'HardSPL' it'll brick your phone,if you need to reflash the official ro,then first remove HardSPL and then flash the official rom.
Secondly,download the RUU_MUNS from the HardSPL thread and replace this with the RUU inluded in the TNT 19213 or copy the nk.nbf folder from the TNT Rom into the folder ogf the RUU_MUNS folder and run the RUU,it'll start to flash.
