ROM upgrade succesfull, GPRS prob

I have a Wizard and Ive just upgraded the ROM to the 2.17 ENG. The original was a T-Mob NL, NL version. I downloaded the Provider settings for T-Mobile, but mysteriously, refuses to connect to GPRS. Any Dutch friend to help? Do I need any extra info (username or password)?
The fact that the CID is unlocked, has anything to do with it?

T-Mobile MDA Vario Unlock for O2 - Advice

I have bought a T-Mobile MDA Vario and wish to Unlock it (SIM & CID) and use it with a Pay as U Go O2 Sim card.
Please will someone guide me through the best set-up, the steps I need to go through, and where to get the info?
I have obtained the following from the phone.
IPL 1.06
SPL 1.06
GSM 01.12.10
OS 1.6.2.4 WWE
ROM Date 11/15/05
Radio Version 01.12.10
Protocol version 4.0.13.23
ExtROM version 1.6.2.105
Flash Chip Type M-Systems G3

There you'll find all about unlocking sim & cid, and find all the relevant info you need.

Qtek 9100 2 wm6??

Hi!
I've tried several WM6 upgrades posted in the forum, either the upgrade is unsuccessful or the ROM is not aplied to my phone.
Tried the Kitchen v.2, Core 2 etc etc
I'm sure It's not operator-locked!
Do I have to upgrade the OS, SPL and IPL manually with separate roms?
Please help me!
I want wm6 with as many options (progs) as possible!
Is there any ROM out there that I can apply on my phone?

Be careful!!
Have you read and learn the basic things about flashing?
Stop flashing your phone until you read as many posts as you can......or you will have a 400$ brick....
Your phone is most likely CID locked witch means that you can only flash ROMs from QTEK....

FAIL upgrade to WM6 with IPL/SPL 3.08. T_T Pls HELP

I'm a newbie here. Please provide me the link or suitable Flash Rom for G3 Wizard O2 Mini S. My SPL/IPL is 1.03. I search for 1 day still cannot find it, thanks!

You wont find the ROMS itself anymore. Thanks to M$.
You can find a lot about good ROMs and customisations.
You should CID and SIM unlock your device, use the Wizard Service Tool for that
Then choose (WWE= English) and find the ROM you want (I use a modified official AKU 3.3, originally from T-Mobile Croatia)
Then Flash your device.

I just succesful install WM5 English version, and with IPL and SPL 3.08. I try with install many kind of WM6 but nothing happen, still remain WM5. What should I do?

It is likely that you did not CID unlock the device. Just look at the second post and the stickies in this forum.

Network Connectivity Problem

Hope you all are fine and enjoying your life where ever you are ...
I am in process of upgrading my Vario by following steps mentioned in this tutorial.

Till now, i completed all the steps and now i have a TMobile Official ROM Installed and SPL/IPL Upgraded To 3.08

The problem i am facing after this upgrade of WM 5 is ... i am not able to use the GSM Network and hence not able to make / recieve calls etc. Even Calendar and contacts are not browsable / Openable. Nothing happen when i click on Contacts or Calendar ... Or even PHONE (To bring Dialpad)
I tried both .. Manual ... as well as Automatic network selection procedures but all goes in vain. Upon manual selection, it detects the networks on air, but upon selecting the correct one, it sill shows NO SERVICE.

Sorry for making trouble for you guys ...
After trying alot of stuff ....
I finally Clear The Storage ...
And Signals came back showing now reason at all
Calendar .. Messaging .. Contacts ... all becomes accessable...
Well now i think the problem might be due to SPB Pocket Plus (I installed that after updating Windows .... Well ... Going to install that again to catch the sinner who made me For Two Days)

Well,after CID unlocking,then why flash T-mobile official rom,its still a wm5 rom,only with upgraded Bootloaders(IPL/SPL).It cud have been easily flashed even without CID unlocking
The real fun starts,after CID unlocking upgrade to one of the latest custom build wm6 or wm6.1 roms,thats where all the speed and features are to enjoy!
I'll suggest,you better upgrade to any latest wm6.1 custom roms and feel the difference.
