Has there been an alternative phone program for a Wizard? I mean, it'll be cool if we could port our music into a phone call so both me and my other party could listen in to all the annoying trance I listen to. Does one exist?

Is it possible to listen to music while making a phonecall? For example, when I'm having a phone conversation, sometimes I want to play some song to the other party but playing some mp3 file only produces silence. On my previous phone it was possible. Any way to make this work?
Hi all. I seem to be having a little problem since I Flashed my latest 6.5 ROM. I use pocket player instead of windows media player, and always use a blue tooth stereo head set. any other time when I install pocket player, and am using it, my bluetooth controls work to control the track selection, pause, play make call funtion and so on... Now however, when I'm using Pocket player and hit something on my bluetooth head set, it automatically opens up windows media player. I really don't like WMP so this is really annoying. Can anyone tell me how to change what program is called up when I use my blue tooth. I can hear the music fine through the head set, it's just the controls that aren't working properly. Thanks anyone....
this is the third thread i've found with wmp jackin our $hit...oh the humanity!! please, someone come to our rescue *$10,000,000 reward for the brave soul who vanquishes the mighty wmp

Conduit Pocket Player can do that after you download appropriate plugin
This has been fixed in version 4.1 of Pocket Player (well, it works for me anyway ).
Hi folks,
I've searched everywhere here and I can't find followig:
How kann I remove/block the Audio Manager?
Many of you will tell I'm not serious, but I can't see it anymore; Ok, it's faster when jumping from an mp3 to another and it's fast to reach and activate, but I use either S2P or WM... The point ist, it gets randmly activated after a call for example, a total pain in... whatever...
Do anyone have a clue, RegKey or cab that could help on this?
Cheers!
PD: IF THERE IS A THREAD ABOUT THIS, please tell me and close this one, I don't wanna spam here, but I really didn't find it!
I would also like to hear if there is a solution to the lil problem of the audio manager randomly turning on after I make a call. Its pretty damn inconvenient..
I use TF3D Config to turn off the [worthless] Music tab. Thereafter I use Pocket Player for my media needs. I never have Audio Manager resuming after a phone call. I may (or may not) have Pocket Player resume after a phone call (configurable).
I believe Pocket Player uses Audio Manager to, well, manage audio. IOW Audio Manager is the backend, controlling the playback, process and Pocket Player (and Windows Media or S2P or the Music tab itself) are front ends. You are runnign the Music tab front end which is resuming playback after the phone call. Disable it and then you should not get that annoying behavior (Unless say WMP, or S2P or whatever is configured to resume after phone call).
No. If you turn off Music TF3D tab, Audio Manager is not used, or loaded by anything.

Looks like it works! So far, AudioManaging bullcrap! I'll continue the tests, but seems to remain stable! Thx to all for your help, special thanks for defaria!

Hi,
Everytime i need to change a song , i have to open xperia out of pouch and change, Sometimes this feels irritating
Can there be a app which changes songs in media player upon clicking call recieve button in the wired earphone....?
Not sure why your X plays songs one at a time... is it your settings that are set to play one at a time? Every player I used plays them one after another, in the order you specify or shuffle or according to playlist or whatever... I can't say I ever had to physically advance songs. I listen to mine over the bluetooth and the phone is in my bag, would feel pretty peeved if I had to dig into my bag every time I need to get to the next song, especially if I am driving. So check your settings.
I think he wants to use the handsfree/headset button to as a fastforward button so he can skip songs.
I think someone put up a mortscript of that for the HTC media player, but I'm not sure where it's posted.
In that case there is always an HTC remote handsfree. Something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/HTC-RC-E100-3-5...066569?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item27b4901749
Thanks harveydent, enigma1nz for your reply,
Sorry for my bad english,
harveydent descibed it right, I want an app which forwards songs through earphone,
not sure whether HTC earphone works fine for xperia x1a windowsmediaplayer/pocketpcplayer/S2P player
I Listen to the same music all the time, so I'm done with spotify. Gonna save loads by just buying the tracks I listen to. What sort of app do you use to listen to your music? The only thing I like with the iPhone system is that you can make a playlist in iTunes and then sync it. I hate managing that on the phone it self. Anything like that for android? Can you use google music for that, or is that only a spotifyish service?

if you are very used to iTunes you can also use something like doubletwist or similar apps for your pc to sync your itunes library with your android phone. I have done this like 8 years ago when I switched from my ipod to my first android phone so I have no idea if that still works or how it is improved these days  But getting rid of iTunes is a good idea anyway. Feels liberating! (don't take this too seriously)

Not used to iTunes. Just like how you can make playlists in it Don't like google music as an app. But I buy music there. Have started to use MediaMonkey. It syncs nicely. And its both a desktop and phone app. But it has waaay more options that I need and feels a bit cluttery. Would love a simpler option
Well I personally just keep my music in folders on my PC and copy it to the phones SD card if there is something new. And since I have everything on my SD card I never have to sync anything - even when I switch phones. I'm an offline freak though, I need all my music physically on a card and I need it all with me all the time (I'm a musician and music teacher so it's a special situation I guess but I really do need a lot of it for work too). Also you never know when you're in a tunnel somewhere and you need that Pink Floyd fix!
Currently I use the Xperia Music app btw (link) and make my playlists directly on the phone.

MediaMonkey is also offline Would love to use the stock music app actually. But making playlists on the phone is annoying. I need a computer when doing stuff like that
Edit: Wasn't bad at all using the stock app! Just so used to the spotify app and its horrible! bye bye mediamonkey Thanks!
