Hi folks,
I've searched everywhere here and I can't find followig:
How kann I remove/block the Audio Manager?
Many of you will tell I'm not serious, but I can't see it anymore; Ok, it's faster when jumping from an mp3 to another and it's fast to reach and activate, but I use either S2P or WM... The point ist, it gets randmly activated after a call for example, a total pain in... whatever...
Do anyone have a clue, RegKey or cab that could help on this?
Cheers!
PD: IF THERE IS A THREAD ABOUT THIS, please tell me and close this one, I don't wanna spam here, but I really didn't find it!
I would also like to hear if there is a solution to the lil problem of the audio manager randomly turning on after I make a call. Its pretty damn inconvenient..
I use TF3D Config to turn off the [worthless] Music tab. Thereafter I use Pocket Player for my media needs. I never have Audio Manager resuming after a phone call. I may (or may not) have Pocket Player resume after a phone call (configurable).
I believe Pocket Player uses Audio Manager to, well, manage audio. IOW Audio Manager is the backend, controlling the playback, process and Pocket Player (and Windows Media or S2P or the Music tab itself) are front ends. You are runnign the Music tab front end which is resuming playback after the phone call. Disable it and then you should not get that annoying behavior (Unless say WMP, or S2P or whatever is configured to resume after phone call).
No. If you turn off Music TF3D tab, Audio Manager is not used, or loaded by anything.

Hi,
Has anyone figured out how to get the TF3D music player to play all tracks by an artist?
Every time I select an Artist I then have to select an album by them!
I like to play from all albums by an artist.
Driving me mad. Resorted to the dreaded WMP!
And I can only get the scrolling covers (as seen in the videos) to work if I only have one song in each folder, otherwise it seems to scroll through the tracks only... Not importnat to me so not a real worry.
Finally I could only get the main screen to not show "No Music Found" by soft reset. If drilling down, it could see and play the songs but the main screen wouldn't search for them until the reset.
I thought I was quite IT literate (I'm a programmer) but can't figure this app out
Thanks in advance - Adam.
Another cry for help
Unfortunately I don't got solutions for your problems, and might as well add one to the list....
I use a Bluetooth audio adapter to my amplifier in the car to play music from my Daimond. On disconnecting and reconnecting to the audio adapter (when starting the car) from WMP every thing goes well, but with the TF3D music player the audio disappears completely.... eg not from the internal speaker and not through the amplifier. Only solution is to switch on and of my Diamond and manually reconnect the audio adapter _before_ starting to play from TF3D.
Sigh
If anybody got a quicker solution than I found, please....

when i use bluetooth headset HSH-DS220 with music play, it will always displayed error when switch to another song in playlist. either windows media player or Flo 3D music play error.
i have try Swift and Dutty cookies, but the same.
i don't know what cause it happened, any one know?
I'm not sure about the HSH-DS220 but I've been using the HBH-DS970 for way over 1 year - first with the PPC-6700 and now with the HTC Touch Diamond (Sprint version). I love it! However there are various Bluetooth problems like the Bluetooth connection dropping mysteriously or a sudden loss of the Handset control but continued connection through the Wireless. This means I can still hear the music, but pause stops working. Other times I'll start playing and it'll skip to the next song for no particular reason.
Let alone the absolute crappy implementation of the TF3D "Sprint Music" player! Oh I can go on and on about it's stupid implementation including the foolish fact that you have to select Menu: Shuffle [off] only to be presented with yet another menu to select whether I wanted "Shuffle [off]" or "Shuffle [on]"! Ah duh, if it's off then just toggle it!
Nor that the Voice Command allows you to ask "What song is this?" but will respond with "No media playing" if you're using TF3D "Sprint Music".
Nor that there's no capability to save where you're at in a song, of if you flip forward to see what's next it starts playing what's next, nor that you cannot edit any playlist synced from Windows Media Player, nor delete playlists you create, nor the fact that it's just plain horrid to be able to find a song flicking your finger through hundreds of tracks?!? Where's the A-Z strip! Etc. Ad Nausem!
But the HBH-DS970, as a device, is a good device and does Bluetooth well.
I'm really sorry if this has been covered before, but I did search via Google and couldn't find anything.
Basically, I've disabled TF3D, and I use Pocket Player for my music (in spite of the skipping sound), so I don't need HTC Audio Manager. Normally, I'd just leave it alone, but I found out that the weirdness I was experiencing w/ Pocket Player (real laggy, freezes)was caused by HTC AM. I'm assuming because it's trying to generate a database/extract all the album art from the 10gigs of music on my phone. I can kill the process w/ Task Manager, but it comes back whenever I start playing Pocket Player. Is there any way to disable it for good? It's a pain to always have to kill the process before I listen to any music. And if possible, I'd like something reversible.
I'm running the stock ATT ROM on my Fuze.
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
Is anyone here able to reccommend some programs that can offerr the following:
Audio player that I can start to listen to an audio book mp3 file then can close the application or switch off the phone then go back and reopen the player and continue listening from the same point?
Application so I can password protect or pincode protect some folders - Just a simple pin code protection is all i need.
Thanks

Neil
No one? - Please can someone help?
Nitrogen - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=59478
And HTC Audio Manager
I can't see how the Nitrogen app can do what I need!
Bumping this thread - I need the same program that Neil is asking for. Just a simple file protection by password - nothing elaborate needed. When I had my Palm treo the built in messages software had the ability to just secure each file by a password if needed. Looking for the same here. I've done searches and nothing relevant came up. Anyone?
I used Pocket Music for audio book for long time. It is the best.
It has bookmark feature and automatically save the last point you listened to, and resume when next time you start it. ( all those features have to be turned on via settings)
Also I set the Camera button to act as play/pause key very handy...unfortunately hardware button mapping doesn't work with raphael. It works perfects with old wm phones but has some issues on raphael/diamond.
I downloaded it from iphone-forum.org and pda4x.com long time ago.
Don't know if you can find one (especially the latest one with crack )
encrypt folders -- use winrar or zip for wm?

I've been using MortPlayer to do that. The setup wizard allows even a novice to select directories with songs to use in regular music mode, and directories with audiobooks. Everyone else can set it up easily through the menus.
With a tap on the screen I can switch to the music directory to listen to music, or flip to the audio-book directory to continue listening from where I was at in the book. Long drives in the car require some variety...

Hi all. I seem to be having a little problem since I Flashed my latest 6.5 ROM. I use pocket player instead of windows media player, and always use a blue tooth stereo head set. any other time when I install pocket player, and am using it, my bluetooth controls work to control the track selection, pause, play make call funtion and so on... Now however, when I'm using Pocket player and hit something on my bluetooth head set, it automatically opens up windows media player. I really don't like WMP so this is really annoying. Can anyone tell me how to change what program is called up when I use my blue tooth. I can hear the music fine through the head set, it's just the controls that aren't working properly. Thanks anyone....
this is the third thread i've found with wmp jackin our $hit...oh the humanity!! please, someone come to our rescue *$10,000,000 reward for the brave soul who vanquishes the mighty wmp

Conduit Pocket Player can do that after you download appropriate plugin
This has been fixed in version 4.1 of Pocket Player (well, it works for me anyway ).
