Hello. Iam having trouble with my friends hw6515 .
My friend tried to Rom upgrade his hw6515 , somehow that rom upgrade failed and he couldn't load Windows , it was the first time he tried flashing a rom so he didn't think about trying to reflash it again .
So he gave me his hw65615 and asked me to make it work .
I downloaded the latest hw6515 rom from HP's website , flashed and loaded windows , and there started the problems .
1. GPS stopped working .
2. I cant get into bootloader mode anymore , so I cant flash other roms , holding power button and pressing reset with the stylus just resets the device .
any suggestions ?

to enter the boot loader you nedd next key conbination :
power+camara+joystick+reset
and try to reflash you beetle

ok , the bootloader work .
Ive downloaded the latest Rom from HP site , when I try to upgrade it says wrong SKU , and that my devices firmware is Unknown .
any solutions for this problem ?
tellme the specs and model correct of your device and the 3 first numbers of your imei plz
The model ID is : hp iPAQ hw6515c
the IMEI is blank .
what the imei is in blank??? do you had a sim card on the phone or what a hell do in that device

I AM WRITING A NEW ROM INTO THE PHONE . EVERYTHING LOOKS FINE . AND IT WORKS . BUT WHEN I PUT MY SIM CARD INTO THE PHONE, IT RALLY CANT BE READ . THE PHONE SHOWS THERE IS NO SIM CARD ..... I HAVE TRY TO THE VODERFONE . O2 3 ..COMPANY

First, go to PC World and buy a new keyboard, your caps lock key seems to have jammed. Second, try to flash this in recovery...

try toggling airplane mode, also try going to mobile network settings and select search for networks. It happened to me once but can't remember how I fixed it.
Hi guys , After a month of searching the whole internet , I was not able to find the solution to my problem , so this is my last hope.
I was gifted a Nokia Lumia 620 by a friend who used to work for Nokia( Now left and in very bad terms with the company ). The phone works like charm and has not given me any kind of trouble. Till a month back I found that I was not able to update the firmware of my phone. On checking the net , I found that the phone's firmware version was a pre-release one i.e. 1030.5603.1249.003 ( This phone was released with 1030.5603.1250.00x in my country India ). So i tried to manually update by downloading the updated firmware .To my surprise I could not find the firmware for my product code which is 059N7C6 . Instead I downloaded firmware of other product code but of same RM-846 . Tried to flash the phone using NCS but could not. I was not able to bring it to the flash mode. Tried every method out there ( Vol down & power , Vol down & power then vol up ) but could not. Actually even keeping the vol down and power button pressed for like 10 min I dont get the vibration( except when the phone is switched off and when i try it , then the phone just switches on.). But as soon as I release the buttons I get a vibration . Is this the vibration that all the methods talk about?? But even after this I get an error message during the recovery method of flashing. I have also tried the refurbish method by changing the product code. The phone goes to go the flash mode and the flash starts but again an error occurs . In both the cases the error i get is " Message not send " .so my questions are :
1. Is my phone a demo phone ? (i dont think so coz my phone works like charm and performs all the functions )
2. Is there any process to update this pre release firmware ?
3. Have i downloaded the firmware of wrong product code ? (FYI i had downloaded the firmware of product code 059R680 EURO1 GB DEVELOPER DEVICE by using NCS coz i could not find the firmware pertaining to my region )
4. Is there any other method to enable the flash mode on the phone ?
This forum is my last hope. Don't want to ditch this phone cause of no updates . Thanks in advance.

I hope that someone could help me !
My friend ask me to mod a galaxy s3 mini i8190n .
It was bought in UK (used from a shop) , but from the splash screen i saw that it was original from french (SFR carrier).
Before do everything i checked the IMEI displayed and it was the same of the sticker behind battery (it was ok) and i saved the original firmware code .
The phone was working properly with an uk sim , so i didn't think that it was sim locked .
I rooted the phone and made a backup with CWM.
After i saw the last release of cyanogenmod 12.1 , i flashed TWRP and CM12.1.
I didn't try with sim inserted at the beginning . After all wipes the system was unstable (reboot , black screen etc ) .
So i tried to flash the Resurrection Remix (last release) that worked better .
With the last rom i tried 2 sims (perfect working in other two phones) and both are not recognized (no sim icon).
No message for unlock the phone on starting was displayed!
I thought at that moment that probably the phone could have some problem with flashed roms.
I decided to reflash CWM and restore the original firmware from backup . The problem persisted (no sim ).
So i found the original rom on sammobile and flashed it . No sims recognized as well !
Imei was the same with all roms , so i think that the EFS folder is good !
I read a lot and discovered that the sim unlock is stored in a protected memory area , so i think i couldn't delete the unlock ... If it had been unlocked before being sold. Am i right ?? And i would like to exclude an hardware problem .. because the phone was working properly before the modding!
What could I do for resolve this problem? The phone is not mine and i'm so sorry to have made a mess!

Just wondering if you resolved this problem. I had the same problem - no SIM working on any custom ROM. I could only fix it by re-flashing stock Recovery in Odin, and then Re-flashing stock ROM also in Odin.

I just bought a used Note 5 N920c which says the country of origin is UAE . And yesterday when I tried rooting the device after reading the article written by Dr.ketan it didn't really go well . I flashed the custom recovery as mentioned in the post but the device dose not get past the Samsung logo screen . I tried both auto restart / manual restart method . When I manually tried to get into recovery mode after flashing a black screen appeared which said the recovery is not official and it stayed like that for almost 15 minutes ( TWRP didn't open)
I restarted and tried going into recovery mode but i found the official recovery . Kinda surprised why this root method isn't working on my N920C .
Is there any chance that N920c is an AT&T variant ? I am not the first owner of the phone and I have no idea if it is an unlocked phone . I thought n920A is AT&T Variant if note 5 . Please correct me if I am wrong

Hi everyone, first of all I'm sorry if the answer is already on this nice forum... But after 2 weeks investigating, I'm trully lost.
1) Context :
A friend of mine bought a Honor 5C NEM-AL10 2gb Ram 16gb Rom on the internet, which worked great. Few days after, he made an update of Emui. After that he had the "no simcard detected" well known problem. ( If I well understand, European update on a chinese phone could have cause this problem).
So I've decided to help him with that.
2) What I have done :
- Unlock Bootloader
- Install TWRP nemo which seems to work great (but I'm not sure)
- Tried to flash custom Firmware but failed
- Tried (via project menu ) to flash NEM-AL10C00B192 but I've got a message during the "verification of file" step telling me that there were a problem with the file.
3) Today state of the phone :
- EMUI 4.1.2
- Build NEM-L51C432B130 (Maybe that the problem : NEM-L51 build on a NEM-AL10 phone?)
- Unknown IMEI
3) What I want to do :
I don't want any particular rom or firmware, I just want to allow the phone detect the simcard.
I'm lost and don't know where to start ... Could you please tell me how can I do to make the phone detect the simcard again?
