Hi guys, Im on tnt 2.0 and i uploaded the HTC music plugin. When i try to use it it opens up windows media. How do i edit it so it can open up the HTC audio manager. Ive searched but just couldnt find anything. I thank you guys for your time. Thanks
start, settings, today, music plug in, options, "the plugin controls..."
Is there any new version of the plug-in which gives a option. I am on "Stable Ground" and the plug-in does not given any option in the setting>today>items menu.
I can't remember. I had a quick look at the "new files for our wizards" thread just now and it's about 60 posts long, too long to trawl through again, but somewhere in there I found the plugin on it's own. I think the kind person who provided it there MAY have tweaked something, but I can't remember exactly.

I found out about this site from Mobilitytoday this morning and have literally sat here all day playing with the incredible, free and wickedly cool things these people are nice enough to share.
I installed the "Kaiser.HTC.Home.v2.0.720719.Schaps.Color" and cannot figure a few things out:
1. The brightness fix doesn't work. I get, "Access denied..." when copying the "HTCUti1.dll" file to the WINDOWS dir.
2. Is there a better battery indicator than "powertray_489"? I was looking for something that came with the new home screen but couldn't find it.
3. I have the "Kaiser Comm Manager(10 Buttons)" comm. manager installed but the WLAN button doesn't work. It just won't turn on. I tried installing the other comm. managers but they wouldn't install.
4. Is there a way to change from Celsius to Fahrenheitfor the weather portion of the application?
5. When I slide my screen into landscape mode, there is no scroll available at the bottom to see the other items. When it is in vertical mode, the scroll is there. Odd because when I installed the “Kaiser.HTC.Home.v2.0.720719.cab” (black and white version) the scroll was there?!
So there they are. This site is awesome and I’m addicted to it already! Any help would be deeply appreciated!
Here is a big hint for you start reading and use the search button! No one will spoon feed you here all your problems have been talked about a few times so they should be easy to find
However much I would like to help, austinsnyc already said what can not be disputed. Read, read, read... when you are finished, read some more.
Do not concentrate on just the Keiser area, read ALL threads. OS isn't phone specific all the time. A fix or tweak for one phone is good for alot of phones.
I'll give you one answer though...(the easy one of course)
When you choosed your city in the weather app, click menu options and there is a box to check for Farenheit.

being a new user myself, i can say that the search function isn't very helpful. however, there is an option in the HTC Home plugin options under weather, where you enter your city, to change it to Fahrenheit. also, to fix the CommMgr there is a registry edit you have to do, you change whatever it says to like WLAN1 or something.

Hello, sorry if this has been answered, but I've seen some today screens with cool media players (song info, pause, stop, play buttons, etc), but haven't gotten anything to show on my Today Screen. I've installed various plugins, but they're just not right.
I switched over to Dutty's ROM and really like the HTC look. I want to plug more functionality into it.
Can someone recommend some options and provide some screenshots?!?
I'm going crazy trying to find something that plays on the Today Screen while I putter around with other things.
Any info is appreciated!

Hey Tommy, thanks, but I already have the tab. I have seen people with a default, "frontpage" Today Screen plugin, without any tab, it just rests towards the bottom of the screen.
I want it to run while other things are going on. I may be asking too much.

Hi, I just got myself a Tilt/Kaiser and have been plowing through all that it can do for the past 2 says.
I have found these forums to be a wealth of information, hence I just wanted to introduce myself and say THANKS to all of you who contribute so much to it.
Moving on, I do have two quick questions...
I downloaded and installed the HTC-Home plugin which allows me to have the large digital clock and all the other cool looking buttons. However, I am unable to find a place to download the Wireless today plugin which would allow me to have an entry for my Wifi network under the today window. I have done several searches on these forums but the most I have found are either A) Mentions of the plugin or B) Other wifi plugins. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places? Can anyone just give me a link where I can download it?
Secondly, is there any way for me to remove tabs from the HT-Home-Today screen? Out of the 5 tabs there (Home, Fav people, Weather, Shortcuts, Music) I want to remove the Weather one.

Try KaiserTweak, there is an option in there to enable Wireless Today.
The wireless plugin is built in to the OS anyway. If you dont want to use kaisertweak or advanced config tools to enable it, you need to find the reg tweak that enables it. I am sure it in the Hermes Wiki.
And htchome tabs are set in start, settings, personal tab, Today, HTCHOME tab.

But what does MSVC have to do with this?
first things first do you have htc audio player install in your phone? if not, that may be the problem lol. attached is the player just in case. unzip it and copy the entire folder to your phone. no need to do install. you can just run the exe file and it's good.
i too am confuse with what "MSVC" is.

with msvc (microsoft voice command) you can say "play *artist/album*"
and it will open up windows media player and play it.
I don't think its possible to open up another player to play it. But check the definitive guide for msvc and try to ask there! Good luck
Yep, the function most likely makes use of media player's media library, so IMO would work only with it.

I recently (read: last tuesday afternoon) got my Diamond. And I am kind of lost.
First of all, my internet doesn't work. Tuesday begin of the evening it did work. But at the end of the evening and today it hasn't worked at all. @ the dutch vodafone site there are specific things you need to fill in which I did. However it still doesn't work. So I will be giving them a call first thing tomorow.
Second of all, my music. When I plug in my Touch Diamond on the computer, I see this map "content" I click on it and I see "music" so I put an album in there, but there is no music on the phone. Does it have to be converted? because I didnt find a converter on any of the cd's I was given. The same thing with my video. I put a movie on it for testing, but can't find that anywhere on my phone either.
Further I have some requests,
- I am looking for a transparant clock (the white part transparant) so you'll see the wallpaper better.
- I am looking for a way to change the bottom bar.
- I am looking for the best way to use my gps receiver (like a program or something).
- A way to simplify my contacts, I find it very annoying to have all this info. I just want to keep their names with e-mail, mobile phone numer and home number.
- A thing like that weather tab, only then with the time. Don't know if it's out but I find that a really funny feature on the iPods. Perhaps with those huge analog clocks showing the time of 6 countries in the world

Hi Dennis,
I'll try to help where I can. The internet issue you will probably have to sort out with your provider. If it was working and now it isn't it the only thing I can think of is you made some change to the network config. They should be able to get it working again.
As for Music I found the best way to transfer music to the Diamond is through active sync. Plug your phone in to your PC, when prompted on the phone select active sync, then on the PC open up Windows Media player and select sync. Then just drag and drop the music you want on your phone to the sync panel and then click sync. All the music you selected will be transferred to your phone and the album art and everything if it is available will be displayed on the phone.

For the bottom bar you have to be more specific, do you want to change the softkeys??
I find the best GPS software is either google maps or microsoft live search, both are free, google them!
For contacts there are many solutions out there, you will have to look on your own, sorry!
I've seen world clock application but most of them are home plugins, again you will have to look around on your own..
As for the rest, you will have to spend some time reading and searching. I don't advise reading the book that came with it as it contains very little useful info.

Sorry Dennis, as far as i know there is currently no method for changing the tf3d tabs. You can add some but really they already exist just not displayed. You can try SSmapa to replace some of the default functions.
