Ok i have been serching through these forums for weeks now so please dont bash me if there is a thread about this because i havent found any answer i am looking for in the many threads about this! My question is i want doom on my tilt i know how to get it and how to install problem is it wont run it, i read that my phone has to be unlocked before it will work, if that is the case is it a CID unlock or sim unlock i need to do? and if it is CID can i just flash hard-spl to my device to unlock it because i do not want to change roms only unlock it to play games, and if i use hard spl will i be forced to reboot my old rom or can i use it just to only unlock my phone. thanks for any information

First off i have spent several hours and many days searching and did you read what was given on your search or just find some stuff on it and called it good, if you have read my thread then you will see that everywhere i look it doesnt explain what i am wanting to know, just jumping around different things,

good that was step 1, now what you need to do is USE one of those url's to search for "doom for kaiser". and next time you post a redundant thread you can reference back to this redundant thread and use the search url's that you provided.

that was the stupidest thing i have ever heard!!!!! you are obviously not listening trying to make your friends on here laugh. why dont you type that in and read hours of useless information for days see how aggrivated you get. my question is not redundant mine has not been asked on here or anywhere else that i have spent days looking for and i can post pages of url's with nothing close to what i am asking. It must just be such a simple answer for you that you want to make it hard on someone who isnt a phone god!!!!! i thought this is what these forums are for? the time it just took you to type that idiotic reply you could have helped someone but chose to be immature so dont bother, someone more kind has already helped thanks

Nice.....not realy did you happen to even look at any of that.....??? all that talks about is the same REDUNDANT stuff i keep finding still not answering my non redundant question. my question is not how and where to get it all i want to know is do i need to unlock my CID to get this to work and nothing in all of that tells anything close to that, check them out for yourself instead of posting a link with pages that just say doom for kaiser without seeing if my question is in any of them, if your gonna post post something helpfull on my subject

why in hell would you need to unlock your phone to put a game on it, we are not using a iphone.

wow finally an answer, that wasnt so bad !!! and i dont know why, thats why i was asking, because your precious research that i supposedly didnt do told me that. so now you see why i am confused there are thousands of things to look up on the subject and all saying different things, confusing to someone who is not a computer wiz to find proper info.
P.S. if anyone is confused on this subject i wont hate on you for asking just message me to avoid the bashing from unwilling people that just want to make you look stupid

Jesus. You are an arrogant one aren't you. I would think that if it didn't say you needed to do something extreme, like unlock, that you wouldn't. But I guess I think like that.
ALSO, if you wanted to know for sure. Respond in the Doom On Kaiser thread.

I can't make ROMs. But I test them out and help other people that have questions. I also provide Mirrors. I'm not here to hold your hand. But if you are trying and stuck, then I will help.

Has anyone purchased a new housing kit for their Kaiser/tilt who may be able to provide a do-it-yourself instructions to do so?.. if so.. please link me some reliable instructions so that i get it right the first time

where at? are you talking about the actual device or a page that shows things in detail?
The one that shows you with pictures how to take the phone apart.
Gamergee: Generally, most guys out here just plain hate newbies. I guess they were born with a kaiser already stuck in their butt and rather waste their time posting useless teasing crap instead of helping out or pointing the newbie into the right direction.

More like we worked for the knowledge and rarely had someone hold our hands through learning.
So just because you had it hard so lets make it hard for the newbies. That doesn't work for me. I appreaciate the Wiki feature but it isn't the answer to all things or this forum would be dead quiet.
This isn't personal. This thread has 4 posts and 70 views. What does that tell us? In my view it means:
20 newbies looked into it because of similar doubts hoping to find an answer that didn't come thru.
20 senior members looked into it and gave a crap about this newbie and didn't even bother to answer
20 variate members just browsed through it without any particular interest or knowledge to answer
the remaining 10 views are probably you, me and Gamergee

Where did you buy the case for tytnII, and how much is it? I have to replace mind too.
I just feel like the main rules to this forum should be followed, just as most senior folks have done. At least when I tell you that you didn't search I know the answer is out there.

thanks for replying to my post and hopefully pointing me in the right direction. i realise that all forums are libraries of information but at the same time have the facility to ask and answer questions.
I think you have misunderstood the reason for wanting to run android on my phone as it's certainly not to "help make my my phone look cool". I am merely looking for a better and more functional OS.
Also before sending this post I'd searched this forum for many hours looking for answers to my questions. It seems the issue is incredibly complex and the info becomes out of date very quickly so in the hope that someone might be able to give me some simple answers i posted a few questions. i'm sorry if this has offended the etiquette of this board or just yourself.

This may be the OT forum, but I'm not sure it's exactly the best place for you to all that question.
Also, did you really have to post the entire Java program in the thread - a link to somewhere else would have been a far better way to achieve the result, and a lot tidier.

Sorry about that, I wasn't exactly sure where to put it.
I removed some of the program, so it just has the parts that I am confused about.

- The version detail (10s to check in parameters)
- The version of lastpass installed
- The autorisations accorded to Lastpass
- etc
That way, you won't have someone take 4 minutes writing an answer to your question typed in 10s on a smartphone keyboard.

Didn't have to be so rude in your response, just say you need more details. People much less likely to use this forum if you act stuck-up.
Anyways, I fixed it by unenrolling from the beta and reinstalling the latest stable version on Google Play.
