change the xdaIIs from Eng. version to Chinese

Dear
would you tell me, my xdaIIs is Eng. version 1.40 ROM version. If I want change it to chinese OS. would I O2_XDA_IIs_Chinese_CHT_1.40.06_ExtRom_1.40.902_Radio_1.12.00.rar
ROM and seem update procedure upload and change it to chinese.

i have an i-mate Kjam with English language installed.
i-mate doesn't have a portuguese language Rom's for This phone
can i install the Qtek 9100 portuguese Rom on it???

Yes, you can install the portuguese rom nad will work.
You have the Portuguese ROM for Qtek? I'm searching the net but i can't find...

Yes...you can install any language you want, but you have to UNLOCK the CID first, in order to install the ROM you want...

I have the T-Mobile MDA Vario , it was running English version of OS, I unlock it and installed the Dopod 838 Chinese version of OS....without problem....

Can't check it now but you should find a qtek9100 portuguese versoin someone posted on the xda-developers ftp.
At least it used to be there...

i now have an i-mate KJam with Qtek 9100 Rom's and I-mate splash logos :lol:
it's for a friend of mine. As for my own KJam i'll try to find the AKU2 Qtek portuguese ROM. I f someone knows where to get it please post here or PM me.

Why go for the older versions when you could get the 1.40?
