So where can I get original XDA IIs O2 NM8 Blueangel ROM?
Because after sucesfull upgrade to 1.22 i can not restore my dara from backup with i dead on oryginal version.

Not sure if this will help but I found a handy program called STGViewer which allows you to open the STG backup files from Activesync and extract the files back to your Hard drive.

o2 UI interface soft reset!

Hey everybody,
I just flashed my rom from german to Wwe with the customized
rom from the xda developers alpine ftp site!
but with the german edition everytime i used the task manager
from o2 the program wouldnt respond now with the new ROM
the XDA IIi just does a soft reset! for both cases its not every time just
now an then thats he has the error!
anybody any idea wat could be the problem?

Hi out there,
This is all very new to me. I tried to upgrade the rom and radio on my XDA from O2's website, followed all the instructions as per the PDF files, started the upload to the XDA. It stopped downloading and asked me to do a soft restart and then stopped altogether with an error message on the PC (error 100: model ID error). The XDA now shows serial version 1 and when put into the cradle shows USB version 1. I restarted the computer and tried to re-initiate download but keep on getting the same error message. Please HELP as the wife told me to leave this alone, (Xmas present!).

try this one, with latest ROM version + camera fix + radio 1.04 (latest) and special thanks goes to pug. put it back at cradle, and run the update. hope this will help you. thanks

Hi,
Does anyone has a problem with this ROM Upgrade ? [I've seen it before that some people can't use their speakerphone after upgrading the ROM]
can I soft reset the device and return to the DEFAULT factory settting if something wrong happens ?
I really need some advice in upgrading this ROM as I'm only a newbie here in this forum.

hi i tryed to download that file and it would not download i need it to fix my o2 xda lli as an upgrade whiped it like the other guy i got the same thing and dont know how to fix it any help would be great thanks

somewhere on this forum is a link to the O2 Ireland site with the latest ROMs for download. i've posted it somewhere just cant remember where.

Help with upgrade please

I'm new to this Forum, but have been reading intently for a while now.
I have a O2 XDA 2s (Blue angel)
Rom Version-1.40.00 WWE
Radio-1.12.00
ExROM-1.40.242 WWE
I have tried to update the ROM with Helmi_BA_WM2k5_AKU3.5_v1.4.CF2
I have the latest version of active sync (4.5) but when upgrading ,the upgrade screen does not show the existing ROM details and produces error 101.I
I have done a soft and even a hard reset, but no change...
If I am eventually sucessfull in upgrading the ROM to WM5, what are the main benifits and will the unit be stable with all functions?

Thanks for getting back so quickly, I have read the frequantly asked questions and I realise the questions I'm asking will be basic for a seasoned hack.However if I use the O2 ROM update .exe I can see ROM details ect , but using the MaUpgrade-noid there is no ROM details?
I have tried using Bootload with no change...

My Xda IIs has dead to update WM5 AKU3.5.2 R5 Rom Kitchenv2

I download a Xda IIs WM5 AKU3.5.2 R5 Rom Kitchen v2
and error happen during the upgrade. the phone is total dead now,
the only thing shown on the screen is USB v2.08
I try to boot the phone. nothing happens.
HELP ME PLEASE.

retry again the upgrade, or download other rom and upgrade

I can't no working. Error 101 connetion error. Any rom no working.

unplug and plug again on the craddle, and kill the active synch 4.5 process.
try again now.

Man, XDA II is a Himalaya & Andes, this is the blueangel forum, for XDA III, Siemens SX66, Qtek 9090...

he has an XDA IIs, SandStorm it is also a Blue Angel
just try and retry the upgrade from that screen.
disconnect the unit and restart your pc first.
same goes with your xda2s(press Power+Record then Soft Reset)
