O2 XDAIIs rom imaged uploaded

I managed to Backup the XDA IIs Rom images from another XDA IIs
I will upload it to Forum.xda-developers.com FTP
But when used ntrw to write to SD is will say Checksum error but it work restoring the device with O2 rom

Where can we find it??

No, its for Xda IIs. It WAS for Xda II, but O2 have now changed it to the correct Xda IIs rom.

No, its for Xda IIs. It WAS for Xda II, but O2 have now changed it to the correct Xda IIs rom.

I think the ROM from the SourceO2 site comes with the wrong tools, I believe they are for the Himalaya not the Blue Angel. The iMate ROM comes with tools starting "BA" whereas the O2 ones start "Hima".

Well I flashed this rom a couple of days ago...

MMM, thats a worry, I want to upgrade mine, but my Rom image is differnet.

EXT_ROM for O2 UK - where is it posted?

I am looking for the O2 UK EXT_ROM which came in with the version shipped version Xda_IIs_Upgrade_v140242...
I tried to search for it - could not find. I downloaded the Full shipped version from O2 for update - But I want to see whats inside the EXT_ROM and cook it also.
Can anyone point out the link please?

PDA not phone

can anyone help me, after upgrading my xda iis with great thanks to this site.
i'm now looking to upgrade a Medion pda frem wm2003 to WM5 which i would imagine would be no prob using the roms available here, however what i am after is the original rom just in case i need to downgrade it, (just in case it wont upgrade)
the device info i have at the moment is
Medion md95025
rom ver. mpnda100 v 1.00m wwe 17.9
wm 2003
gps interface nmea 0183 v. 2.2
the only thing i can get from the medion site is a user manual marked as PNA 100 (lots of help)

Is it possible to extract a copy of the rom from the device whilst in the bootloader mode via usb,if so this will sort out the problem for me.

update xda II rom problems

I realized the XDA II is a Himalaya device. and I had updated Rom successful following the posts in Himalaya sub-forum. Many Thinks.
Hi, I tried update Rom for XDA II and failed. and now the phone is unable to contact my PC by ActiveSync, and the screen is freezing with O2 background.
I tried to do a reload refer to

Download the Type I 1.40.00 CE Rom (from the Qtek update) \
and found the file is not in the directory

Source for O2 UK 1.40 ROMs for XDA IIs?

I had a look at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Upgrades but the ftp download locations do not appear to contain the O2 UK 1.40 ROMS for the XDA IIs. Also www.my-xda.com doesn't seem to have any ROMs for the XDA IIs on it.
Does anyone know where to get the O2 UK 1.40 ROMs for the XDA IIs from?
I'd like to try upgrading to WM6 but before I try that I'd like to make sure I've got the original ROMs to return to.
