I download this ROM and flush it but can't reset,don't know why will upload in wiki.

Yesterday I email to Dopod/Taiwan ask then if possible WM 5.0 will come out soon , they replay said no , and WM 5.0 will come with MDA IV in 3 Q of 2005
Okay, I have tried Roms PDAViet3, 4, and what ever wiz_wm6_pv and my OS still shows up as WM5. Am I doing something wrong? Please help or direct me to a thread. For those who dont want to help noobs and tell me to read up, try sorting through 80 page threads that go in circles and tell me how easy it is to find an answer.

Not very difficult! The thread is sticky on top and has "[READ FIRST]" in the title!
When you're OS won't flash you're not CID-unlocked. Follow the thread by the letter if you got a G3 device!
hehe when I first started, I had this problem as well, my phone wouldnt flash.
Loki said it was sucessful in unlocking my CID when it wasn't.. DOH!

The instructions in "Sticky: Poll: SOLUTION FOUND -CID/sim UNLOCKING FOR WIZARD WITH AKU2" do work but it's easy to miss a step. I did the first time and it drove me nuts for a couple of hours. So read everything twice, don't skip anything, complete the full setup of each rom and make sure everything works and all version #s are correct before proceeding to the next, and don't be an idiot like me and try to do this at 4:30am Sunday after an 80 hour work week and copious quantities of beer. What I did exactly was:
flash button rom
Unlock
flash button rom again (don't skip this)
next you need to flash a rom with v2 boot loader ( I used "RUU_Molski.Biz_226102_22610105_022511_WWE.exe")
next I deviated from the plan by flashing
"faria-htc-wizard-aku3.3-page-pool-8mb"
then I updated the radio with
REAL_Radio_2.61.11 -(works good for me)
after playing with faria's rom for a day or two
I flashed pdaviet4
Backed up everything to SD and Hard disk
Installed all my software,
Backed up again
installed WM6_VC_BT_Fix.cab to fix voice command with bluetooth
worked for me.

It's mentioned in this thread already. If you get the old OS, you're not CID-unlocked! Read the sticky how to unlock and flash if you got a G3.
If you got a G4, look at the G4 section how to flash onto a CID-locked device.

the term "real" was meant for RAmdisk....the RAMdisk isnt affecting any feature of the ROM..first u guyz were complaining about low ramdisk and now Biger RAMdisk

This one is still based on the very old WM6 Wizard ROM.
It has lots of ghost-files in it.... (like touch.dll; *.dsm; ... )

What is your pagepool size and how did you manage to squeeze-in so much RAM Disk.

is the carkit functionality builtin this time? This because after flashing your newest rom there is no sound from the carkit speaker. I used wavedev2.dll and edited the register with taskmanager for wm6. This gives no result. Can you help me?

There is no version of WM5 or 6 available for 2020i and there probably never will be.
BTW I do advice you, next time you visit a forum, first browse it so that you know that you're in the right section. 2020i is known here as Alpine and has its own section here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=249 to clearly seperate it from Himalaya. In that section your question has been asked and answered over and over again

Simply the SonBlacks' wm6.1 build 19202 rom is the best rom yet. trust me, I used to have a problem with starting device after softreset but it never happen to me with this rom. Everytime when I try to upgrade my MDA II It always shows #101 Connection Error.. Does somebody know what can I do?
First of all..welcome to the xda Team "Boot Sector"..This is not the place to post your problem..you could try posting it in Released ROM's Thread so you may get all the help you need..this thread is to let every new member like your self to know which ROM is where..as for your problem
Solution :
1. ALWAYS CHECK THE HIMALAYA WIKIBEFORE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS..MOST OF THE ANSWERS ARE THERE
2. First Make a search regarding your Problem..maybe its already solved someplave else..or there might be a group of people who are having the same problem...you would get a lot of help this way
Since Error # 101 is a "Connection Error..there might be few possiblities :
1. You have connected your USB cable in a place other than your PC's Back USB Port ( e.g a hub or at your Casings Front Port )..try connecting it Directly to your computer at the Back Port ( more power )
2. You can also get this error if Your Connector at the bottom is Broken or is not properly working
3. If you are running Windows Vista..then there is a driver Problem..go here to Fix that ( thanks Maggy )

I believe that Vista gives Connection Error as well. Use Windows XP with ActiveSync 4.5 instead.

Hi, I´m new in this forum and would like to start off with a big thanks to all the developers and home-cookers on this forum for their great job doing what they do
I recently bought a new unlocked HTC p3600 (pro) which apperently came from
the swedish provider 3. This package also included TomTom 6 but is yet not installed on the trinity.
Of course i would like to update my trinity to wm6 or a stable wm6.1 and after reading in alot of forums and different guides I think I´ve got a good handle on how it will go down, so I´m pretty confident how to update my machine
First of all I´d like to post the speccs of the htc 3600:
I bootloader mode it says:
(Red stripe) TRIN 100
IPL -0.50
SPL -1.07.0000
(Green
and blue Clear
strip)
(White stripe) SERIAL (becomes USB when connected to PC)

I need to flash the original spl to a hard spl either using
olipros 1.20, 1.30 or des´s crash proof spl
with RUU and so on. Same goes for the Radio and the wm6 ROM I would like to use
My questions now are these.
1. what hard spl will be most suited for this proceedure? (since the phone is unlocked, i can put alot of different sim-cards in it like Tele2, Telia, 3 and so on) BUT.. I´m not sure if the phone still has CID lock and I´m too stupid to properly use mtty.exe
2. What Radio version is most compatible with the hard spl and the wm6 or wm6.1 ROM´s ?
3. What ROM of wm6 or wm 6.1 should I use ?...preferably a swedish one if there is but also a good stable english one will do :I know there are alot of them but some swedish users may have an answer..
Since the most guides and forum posts are from 2007 I really want to make sure I got this all right. I also plan to write a good guide in english/swedish/german if everything goes ok. So all help would be mucho macho appreciated.
