HELP ME PLEASE!

I've QTEK 9100 SPV M3000
version IPL 1.03
SPL1.03
GSM1.4.10
OS1.3.1.4
I try to change FRENCH to ENGLISH ROM using this rom:RUU_Pridigy_1060701_101_11310_QTEK_WWE_Ship.exe
But I recieve this ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID message.
(One of these error messages will appear when you use the wrong RUU to do the upgrade. RUU will check if the Model ID and Language ID are compatible with the device. Make sure you use the appropriate RUU tool to upgrade.)
Can somebody please help me upgrade my qtek 9100

You need tyo clear the CID lock.
Find the aWizard tools on the forum, read an execute the indicated steps (unlock CID and make a backup.
Then run the upgrade again.
Works very wel (at least on my dutch MDA vario)

Can't put I-Mate rom into unlocked QTEK9100 - Invalid Vender

Hello all, please help me...
I have a QTEK 9100 and it only takes a couple of the QTEK RUU updates and only a couple of the I-Mate K-JAM RUU updates. Most importantly it will NOT update to the latest QTEK 9100 RUU rom nor will it not update to the latest K-JAM RUU rom either. I prefer to have the latest K-JAM rom as that is what I have in my other MDA VARIO and it's great!
Now the error I receive is Invalid Vender (vendor?) ID... I HAVE unlocked the phone (both SIM unlock AND CID unlock)... I have CID unlocked it with both aWizard AND lokiwiz and I have also installed the EnableRAPI thing.
I have done everything I have found on these greate boards here at XDA-Developers and I have found nothing to fix this problem. I am able to use custom roms as well. But I can't use the K-JAM one. ALWAYS error 294 invalid vender id.
Does anyone have any ideas?

The only thing I can suggest is that the CID unlock didn't work fully. It's worth checking the text as the lokiwiz runs to make sure the CID unlock actually goes through - see various posts under the lokiwiz thread on the general wizrd forum for information. dropping back to the QTEK Custom ROM and then running the lokiwiz has been a solution.

still no luck
At the moment I managed to put a different custom rom on there (button's custom) and even after doin the lokiwiz unlock and then attempting to put the latest imate rom still have no luck, still the same error: Invalid Vendor ID. Also i think i tried the same with the original qtek rom as suggested and had no luck... maybe someone could point me to the custom original qtek rom that would fix my problem? Maybe i used the wrong one?

I tried the custom rom you suggested and THEN unlocked the device again, also did enableRapi, then attempted the latest Imat K-Jam rom update and it failed with error 294 invalid vender (vendor?) id... with the red green blue screen on the QTEK 9100... For additional info it displays IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.0.1.0000
Please let me know if you have any more ideas on how to update my QTEK9100 to the latest I-Mate K-Jam rom successfully. Also, for some reason one of the older I-Mate roms updated successfully, but the latest one doesnt.

I had the same trouble. Try this:
Load the custom rom that JoninLA suggests.
Then unlock the CID using aWizard.
Then load the original Imate KJAM ROM from the ftp site
Then load the AKU2 Imate KJAM ROM
That should work.

Should I CID unloack with aWizard in between all these updates? I would think so right?

I did as jasoncheesemanuk suggested... with the custom rom on there i UNLOCKED CID, then upgraded to original IMATE rom, then attempted to upgrade to latest IMATE rom (without unlocking again) and i got the same problem: error 294 Invalid Vender ID
Please help, is there a solution out there? Why is this QTEK 9100 so stupborn?

ROM upgrade problem

i have a T-Mobile MDA Vario with rom 2.1 and i want to upgrade it with an O2 rom but when i try to flash it with the o2 rom it says ERROR that
'INVALID VENDER ID'. i tried to use Lockwiz02 to remove cid unlock but it gave me an error

Does pdaviet rom CID lock the device?

I have an unbranded german herald and used to flash offical RUUs in german and english without any problems. Today I flashed the latest pdaviet touchflo rom. Because I didn't like it I tried to reflashed the WWE RUU. But this time I got the "invalid vendor id" message. I flashed with the german RUU - no problem. I tried again to flash the englich RUU -> "invalid vendor id" !?!?
My CID unlocked herald now seems to be a CID locked herald - is this possible ?
I found several msgs about the "invalid vendor id" with pdaviet (unfortunately after I flashed my device) but I didn't find any msgs about a CID lock.

you can only ruu with an ruu of the language that your herald came in.
and for the record, aserg's method doesn't actually cid unlock

Mine is a Dopod C800 from HK, originally it was English, now it's bricked after USPL-beta3.
It shows IPL 1.9.0001, SPL 4.10.0000. Tried all the RUU versions (different lang) I could download, it takes NONE. Invalid vendor ID, or Error [226] flash write error.
So what vendor it is locked now to?

but I was able to use the english RUU on my german herald before I flashed pdaviet. And now it is not possible again. This really make me wonder. Now I have to use the german RUU but I liked an english rom much better...

mda wiza200 rom problem

i got a wiza200 t-mobile , it show only t-mobile and phone reboot
i try to flash using ruu_prodigy_226102_22610105_022511_tmous_wwe_ship
but it show me error :"" invalid vender id""
any solution to repair this phone ; or any working rom

Which Rom was on it before,a wwe or some other language version ? if it was other language version,than replace the RomUpdateUtility (RUU) in the present WWE Rom with ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.zip and flash.
