For me, all I did was copy and paste these files to my windows directory and soft reset. It worked after that! Matrix FTW!

Do you have to disable the HTCHome first ? Wouldn't you get access problems when overwriting these files ?

Disable HTCHome and copy all files to your HTCHome dir

I didnt even disable it.
copied them over, soft reset, and i was done!
Though if you DO have write errors, then yes, disable and then enable.

You dont even have to soft reset. Just disable home plugin, overwrite the files and then enable the plugin again and it should be set.

Hi guys,

Lets try the longest, most sure to work way.
Disable HTC home
soft reset
upon boot, connect via USB
try copying files over, if access error again, make sure the files on the phone are not "read only" (You can check by selecting it, right clicking, and clicking properties)
If they are read only, uncheck it, if not, I really dont know whats wrong.

these are sweeeeet! i must have these in the alien and flame styles though, also a dark blue color pleeeeease! anyone have any ideas???????? thanx!!!!!!!
i learned how to make whatever color clock i want using photoshop. might even work with paint. just get hold of any clock file load it up and color away. save the file as whatever you would like to call it and then add to the htc home customizer clock schemes folder. programs/file explorer/my device/program files/htc home customizer/files/clock.

sry i am a noob...
i did search but i cant seem to find my htchome dir. I tried both sync, and guest sync(ing?) but still cannot find this dir. Are you supposed to put the files in the dir on the mobile device? If so how do you 1) select more than file and 2) how do you cut/copy or move it. I have full commander 2 if it helps any

figured it out
wow i feel dumb, i was right clicking it and trying to see hidden files that way...

HTC Home Customizer works on the Wing. I assume that it will work on the Herald. You can download all sorts of themes/icons/clock colors without overwriting files. Once you're done you can even delete HHC & keep the selected changes. Pretty nice.

how do you put the new htc home colors on the tilt. cant seem to find spot to overwrite

here you go sir. im only giving you this one because the 6 button version always seems to put my phone on vibrate when i dont want it. so heres the one that works. it will not mess your phone up. install to the phone. enjoy.
Thanks
Thank you very very much!
I've never done this, how do I install?
Move the .cab to your phone - use File Manager on your phone to browse to where you put the file - run the file by clicking on it
I installed the cab, but I dont see anything different...do I need to change any setting after installing? Will this give me the weather on the Today screen?
reset the device
reset then go to settings, today, items, and select the correct plug_in.
I did that, and have the HTC plugin checked...just wondering what im supposed to be seeing...anybody have a screenshot?
What about the weather...How do I get that?
Yeah here it is,
Ignore the watermark, couldnt find a handy/free screenshot
anyway for weather, if you want your own city its another story.
There is one good tutorial for that on the forums, just have to look
*edit whoops images didnt go through, let me crop them

I want to try this on my new AT&T Tilt. But can it be uninstalled? In case I change my mind? In the past, I downloaded one of the HTC Home Plug-in CABs from this site, and I had to hard-reset to get rid of it...

WIRLESS TODAY PLUGIN
:] you guys should really try the cabs duttythroy put together
HTC Home with Contacts
I downloaded the HTC Home cab listed in this string and it appears to work just fine. I need to tweak it (i.e. - add more cities to the weather file as well as add the programs on the program screen), but what I really miss is the Conatcts screen ... the one where you have 9 pictures that are one touch dialing in that tab. Does a .cab exit for HTC Home with the four tabs instead of the three?
I ran the 6 button on and 8125 and HATED the fact that it arbitrarily changed my phone to vibrate mode. But I'd really enjoy the contacts tab.
Thanks!
Battery Bar ...
I also downloaded the .cab listed in this string for the battery bar in the header (for lack of better term). I placed it on the phone and ran it, then the phone rebooted ... nothing. I executed the .cab a second time, was told the previous version would be uninstalled, it installed and rebooted again ... nothing.
I picked the QVGA version of the bars, not solid. I may try solid next but I can't imagine that would correct any issues. Just wanted to post that it didn't work for me.

Not only is the interface different, but so is the way you can move through tabs (Try searching youtub for TouchFlo 3D for an idea). Here are some shots of the interface. Everything is now integrated so that the cube is no longer needed.

This is a great interface. Thanks for posting! I have attached the files for those that still haven't found them. The All-in-one.zip file contains the following:
BlackDiamon_HTCHomeSettings.cab
BlackDiamon_HtcUIHomeEn.cab
BD-background.jpg
cyclic_blackbars.tsk
INSTALL:
1. Copy BD-background.jpg to My Pictures.
2. Copy cyclic_blackbars.tsk to Windows Directory.
3. Install Cabs.
4. Goto Today settings and set theme to "Cyclic_blackbars"
5. Goto Today Settings and select BD-background.jpg as background image.
6. Goto Today Settings and Uncheck everything EXCEPT HTC Home.

Launch Music Player
All seems well except for 2 issues.
1. When I attempt to launch the music player, I receive the following error:
"AudioManager.exe
The file 'AudioManager' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of it's components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
I use Windows Media Player...can I map the launch button to it?
2. When assigning Programs to the launcher, I cannot see a way to browse to the progs that I have on my storage card. Is there a way around this?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

[SKN] M2D Theme for HTC Home 2.1 [Updated 6/13/09]

Alright so I had to go back to HTC Home after running TF2D on my Titan for a while because it was just too slow and left me low on memory. So I decided to change some of the graphics to keep the M2D look on my phone since pretty much everything else is M2D themed. So if anybody else wants to use it here it is:
Final Version 6/13/09

}
Installation:
- Install HTC Home cab file first if you have not done so already, soft reset.
- Go to settings, today, items tab and uncheck HTC Home.
- Copy files to "\HTCHome" folder.
- Go back into settings and check it back on.
- Soft reset if there are any issues.
For the look shown you will need poorlyduck's M2D tsk file found here:
Thread | Download
Also this looks best with glossy black bars (just makes the grays darker):

This is brilliant for HTC Home users. Thank you!
You're welcome, thanks for the feedback.
Nice and clean looks, made me consider to include HTCHome and the Cube again on my Artemis Rom, i just hate Manila 2d.
Cheers.
oo that does look great..ill be adding this to my htchome along with the diamond themed flip clock for a complete low mem tf3d look (currently running htchome on my TP )
Thanks alot!
Are you using Empex's clock? I've been looking for a better alternative but unfortunately it seems there's nothing that can make it look quite like it does on the diamond. Ipaso's is close too but the digits are separate. :-/
I'm still tweaking this so maybe if I make any noticeable changes I'll update with some extras. Thanks again for the feedback.
I'm not positive on which clock i'm using but the numbers are seperate..looks great tho still..I could attach the files if you wanted..
Do you know a way to make the background around the clock 100% transparent?
what to do with the m2d tsk file? will i have to put in htc home folder?
also, how do i get the 6 tabs? i only have 4. i have the polaris, wm 6.0

You mean like without the faded parts in the background? Yes, I supposed you'd just have to erase those parts in Photoshop.

You can place it anywhere on the device. Personally I keep my tsk files in the "Windows" folder since that's where the stock tsk files are stored. Just copy it to your device and execute it via file explorer, should take you to today screen. Do the same with Glossy black bars if you wish to use it.
To get 6 tabs, go to phone settings -> Today -> HTC Home tab, make sure everything is checked.
EDIT: Will upload an update tonight, still no clock but I'm working on one. I just changed the Music tab icons, the missed call icon, X button, and the alarm icon.

I don't have the HTC Home tab under Today. I only have Appearance and Items. I only have the original 4 tabs in Home.
You probably don't have the same version I have. I'll post the cab I used later today.
I got the cab here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=409491
I just finished my Diamond-style clock for this skin. It's based on Empex's clock but I used different graphics for higher quality look and so it would match the M2D background. Will upload soon.
Also I changed the music tab progress bar to match the M2D one exactly. Here are screens:
Unfortunately the clock only looks perfect in portrait mode. In landscape some rectangles show in blue areas.
updated skin not working
i finally got the 6-tab htc home! but when i installed your updated graphics skin, it won't work. it used to work before the update when i only had 4 tabs. i tried unchecking and checking HTC Home, soft-resetting but no help.
edit: i uninstalled the 6-tab home and back to 4 tabs. now, your updated graphics skin works. maybe the 6-tab home that i got is not compatible with yours?
I found there were some problems with my graphics because I had to re-install all my programs and the pack didn't work right for me.
New file is up now, lots of updated graphics. Try reinstalling Home, download the new file in my first post, then apply.
I also added the cab file I use now. Try that one.
great! with the new files, everything is now working as it should be including the 6-tabs. thanks you!
No problem! Glad some people liked it.
Love it ! .... But
Was wondering if we could get just a few different colors ? like
Red or Black ? Talking about the bar underneath the clock and also the highlight color when you press a tab .
Find me the tsk file you want it to go with and I'll match it the best I can.
like this skin...nice work!

Digital Clock for Touch Viva (Opal)

I found this clock originally in the forum about "manilla2d", the ported version of TouchFlo 2D. I couldn't get it to work on my Touch Viva. It kept saying "Tap here to launch TouchFlo" after I installed it. I finally realized it was installing into the wrong directory, so I recreated the .cab file with the correct settings and installed it. Now it works fine, so you can have a large digital clock on your Touch Viva.
Just to make it clear, I didn't create the clock. The credit for that goes to pcarvalho. I just fixed the .cab file to work on an original install of TouchFlo.
Tested on Touch Viva (T2223) running Windows Mobile 6.1 and TouchFlo 2D.

Thanks ,it runs well
thanks runs great on my htc touch viva how do i change the time setting to am pm?it now displays military 24 hour format tnx again
This only works on an ORIGINAL install of TouchFlo 2D. I don't know what the TYTN II is running. The main problem with this one was that it installed everything in the "%CE%" directory, but Windows Mobile 6.1 doesn't have a "%CE%" directory. Check to see what your main Windows directory is and where the files are being installed.
I think that is a setting in your clock settings, or perhaps the TouchFlo settings. All this really is, is a set of PNG files your phone can use for a clock, with no settings, etc. Try tapping on the clock, and check out the settings there.
works great on htc touch viva, win mobile 6.1.
thanks!

Have you tried uninstall it? Does it change back to original clock?
Thanks
CyberZeus
No, I haven't tried to uninstall this version (because it works fine on my phone, and I like the clock). However, when it wasn't installing correctly, and I couldn't get it to work, I could always uninstall it and it reverted back to the original clock. If you go to "remove programs" and uninstall it from there, I believe it restores the original files that were replaced by the ones for this clock.
To install this clock on your phone, you need to download the .cab file (at the beginning of this thread) to your phone. Then use "File Explorer" to find the .cab file on your phone and open it. It will install. Then, you can do a soft reset, if you like, but I don't think it is necessary.

The clock is basically a set of PNG images that are laid over each other. For example, there is a PNG with all the numbers on it and another for the background. If you created a new background PNG and then installed it using a .cab file, it should replace the one that is there now.

[UTIL] SICC - Sense Icon Cache Clearer

I don't know if bugs anyone else, but after changing icons with CSMI or JWMD it annoys me that
I have to mess about deleting Sense 2.5's icon cache for my new icons to show up in the quick links.
So, I was looking for an app that did this automatically - I couldn't find one
So, I've written one that deletes the Sense icon cache and then gives you the option of restarting
your phone:

Hi,
This is a nice program, although I got used to clear the Application Data ProgLauncher folder. I have to admit that I didn't test your program, but the screenshot suggests that the phone restarts after clearing cache.
Maybe you can improve this, by just restarting Sense.
Using MortScript, a Sense restart can be done via:
Code:
regWriteDword HKLM, Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\HTC Sense, Enabled, 0
RedrawToday
regWriteDword HKLM, Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\HTC Sense, Enabled, 1
RedrawToday
Exit
But I'm sure there is a native code version to do that. Good luck!
Thanks for the application... going to give it a try.
tankyou very mutch for this..

This same thing was driving me nuts and no matter how i changed the icons they would never change on the program launcher. Fotunately I finally found the solution elsewhere, for me it was because i was using an icon that had the same name as one that was already stored in the Windows folder. Apparently the program launcher will use the one stored in the Windows folder first. So either A. Copy your icon to the windows folder and overwrite the existing one (if you can) or B. Rename the icon all together; i chose option B

My problem is other: all icons in the start are okay, but the menu "quick links" no changed the icons of youtube, camera ecc. ( all system icons)
Thank you!

Where do you put the 4 image files that download with the .cab file?
I'm not a Sense user but...
I've been looking for something similar but meant for the Windows Mobile icon cache (the whole system or just a desired folder). No such luck yet...
Any chance you could do it? Is it even possible (I get the feeling that the setup.dll from cab setups is capable of doing this... may be wrong though)? I surely could use a small (no GUI) exe just for this purpose...
I found this thread with some code snipets which are reported to work for Start Menu (at least in old WM versions) but not being a coder...
Thank you very much I will be using this for sure!
