I downloaded the latest MDA Rom out but..

there is no OZ IM messanger on it
is there a way to get the new ROM with OZ on it?

Any WM6.1 ROM w/ Windows Live Messenger?

I'm still running StockOS (WM6-German). Since I'm running out of storage memory I decided to flash my device (VPA Compact IV). Particularly I would like to flash WM6.1 but I'm heavily depending on Windows Live Messenger. My problem is, that it seems that no 6.1 ROM has WLM included. Also installing WLM separately won't work, because all those standalone WLM cabs seem to be only working w/ WM6.
Does anyone know of a Custom 6.1 ROM where WLM is working properly?

open touch v3.0 in the herald rom development forum

opentouch 3 is a rather old rom... anyways i'll give it a try.
@cooks: why do the newer releases not include wlm anymore? (just curious)

search for windows mobile fixed. it works.

By the way are there gonna be any official 6.1 WM versions for the Herald?

I got omnia 16gb with working windows live messenger but every contacts look offline even when they're online. I even tried with my other accounts. Do you know any solution pls.?

No. It's considered an "out of date" or "out of circulation" phone. They haven't released anything for a LONG time.
We tend to not release ROMs with VLM on it because it takes up RAM and storage and most of us don't use it.

Use any ROM you'd like

Unlocked and Installed WM6.1 on ATT Treo 750

I read alot, but thought i'd post. I purchased a like new ATT Treo 750 (Locked) and was going to go somewhere and have it unlocked, I get on here and unlocked it following Summiter's steps here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=335661 and then installed the WM6.1 (Rom is here: http://rs86.rapidshare.com/files/97839859/Treo750_OS5_2_19199WWE_STD.rar) Standard rom using the KaiserCustomRUU.exe and man, it is awesome.
The Treo is up and running with WM6.1 on T-Mobile and everything works, even the data connection automatically is configured.... Phone is still branded ATT and still has the built-in crap for ATT .. haven't gone that far, but hey, it works great, a few extra icons, I can live with...
This site is great, and as from reading ALOT of posts, I must say if your looking to unlock or upgrade then do what most people say -- SEARCH & READ -- instead of waiting for someone to hold your hand ...
Any how, saved me $40 from unlocking so I have to donate to xda now

You have 6.1 with AT&T stuff in it? I did not know there was a 6.1 with AT&T stuff in it, are you sure it's MW6.1?

I didn't unbrand it or anything, i was jus trying to unlock it, and kept crashing at the 2nd step, so i said screw it and just poped in my tmo sim and it worked ... never flashed the radio since i had full bars (sacramento, ca) and them just flashed the 6.1 cooked rom on it afterwards.. and boom! it werks fine ...
but yea, it finally rebooted a 3rd time and proceeded to install the att junk...

ok, installed a unbranded WM6 rom over the 6.1 and no more ATT junk, then installed the WM6.1 rom again and now is clean 6.1 install ...

I want to upgrade to 6.1 but I'm just afraid to damage my Treo 750.

Euhm the Kaiser stands for the HTC Tytn 2, so you have tytn2 rom on your treo 750?

Hi, where did you find the unbranded 6.0 rom for your treo? I have the official 6.0 updated WM6.0 rom. I too use T-Mobile and would like to get the AT&T crap off my phone....Thanks for the help!

Do you need to unlock your locked phone to put on the att rom WM6.1 on an att branded phone? I have ATT service and wanted to try WM6.1. Currently i have WM6.

Where is a link to download the unlocker application for the Treo 750? I did find the link to download the WM6.1 OS rar, but not the unlocker application.

Touch Flo without flashing?

Hello! Anyone knows if it's possible to install Touch Flo (or cube) without flashing the device again? If it's possible, what version do you recomend?
I have the Shekhar WM 6.1 Professional (build 19209).

I use the same ROM as you, and I have been using a version called SCLPF_1-62-FTOUCHFLO-FlashLite_setup_FINAL.CAB. There may be newer, better free versions of it available, but this one works perfectly for my needs. TouchFlo is restricted to the cube as well as opening and closing from memory. I don't think it works as Touchflo outside of that (IE in contacts) though I could be wrong. Been a while since I used it.

Does not work on Hima, yet. Get stuck on starting TouchFlo, as Ather mentioned. I tried with my German ROM based on Athers Dark Edition but failed. Sorry.

Hi am newbie in Windows Mobile, my phone right now is 1week old, earlier i was just doing some stuff to my X1, i just installed the HTC TOUCH FLO EXPERIENCE, but now i really don't like it, it makes my phone messed-up, like applications very slow, is not really that good IMHO, now i want to remove this and i want to restore my WINDOWS MOBILE w/ OFFICE OUTLOOK, so please help me..

i did a x1_hardspl flash and installed it..
does anybody know here how to remove this HTC Touch-It?

choose the latest r2a of your country.
if u r in a country without a rom like me (Greece) choose Generic_UK_R2A0010

btw read hard spl sticky again to see how u can go back to stock hardspl (u dont have to ,just for warrany reasons )

i tried 3 of them i think they're all the same, they're all HTC software, i am looking for the stock X1 software, i mean the stock windows, not htc..

you can choose generic rom from this forum
