I have been having problems with my MDA Vario after I tried rom updating to WM6.Im stuck in Bootloader, I have tried various different things but nothing seems to work.
So I decided to copy a rom to my Mini SD and insert it. I get as far as half-way through downloading OS, then it says Checkin Checksum. Then It says Checksum Error.
Any Ideas why this is happening.

I've got a 3600i running Olipro 3.2 (special 3600i), my device boots ok without any issues (currently have Karmba v10.2 3600i ROM), however i've noticed a few hard resets, so trying to load the HTC shipping ROM again.
I've tried to go through the normal install process, just clicking the exe file, the installer asks all of the right questions & then my device comes up in bootloader mode, however nothing else happens & the installer comes back with a 260 error (yes my device was fully synced with activesync prior to flash attempt).
I've also tried manually entering bootloader mode (camer+power+soft-reset) & running the windows installer, however still can't get it to flash a new ROM.
Just for giggles, I also tried what i "think" is the SD card method, formatted my 2Gb card with FAT32, didn't add a label & copied the rom file (nbh) & renamed to TRINIMG.nbh. I then booted the device into bootloader, nothing.....
Perhaps someone can help me, i'm trying hard to answer this on my own, however have run out of ideas.

PS - I've flashed this device 5 times previously without issues, hence hope it's not a case of user error.
Possibly Fixed - Tried re-installing Olipro SPL
Thought i'd try re-installing Olipro SPL 3.2 (http://www.mediafire.com/?yxz2pu1oytg), this seems to have fixed my issue, now installing ROM (81% completed).
i downloaded the 1.6 version of duttys rom and the hardspl from the first post and flashed the hardspl fine
i then put the blacimg.nbh onto my memory card and put it into the tricolour mode.
it started flashing after i pressed the power button but it gets to 85% ish and then just stops and crashes
when i reset the device it says upgrade rom code error, please try again on the tricolor screen
ive done a hard reset and tried again and i get the same error. im just in the process of downloading the 1.5 and im going to try that.
has anyone else had the same problem?
ive tried searching but there doesnt seem to be anyone else that has the problem

My HTC Touch Viva is stuck in bootloader mode.
ONBL 1.26.0000
SPL 1.26.0000
Here are the things I tried:
1. Downloaded HardSPL, I get the 1% straight to 100% error 270 update error. I am figuring that I cannot install this when in bootloader mode.
2. I get the hardspl .nbh file and rename it to OPALIMG.nbh and put it on the SD card formatted in FAT32 and get Invalid Certificate error.
3. I tried downloading the stock rom, and windows 6.5 rom and I get the same error 270.
I tried these same things on my wife's htc touch viva and I managed to update the SPL and WM fine but I am in Windows Mobile and activesynced vs stuck in bootloader mode.
What am I doing wrong?

Turn off your Device's Security, so your warning won't come up and disrubt the process.
How do I turn off the security? I cannot get into the phone.
Actually I tried to drain the battery, hard reset, RUU attempts and once the phone actually started to boot (I do not know why) but this is what it did:
It showed a screen with two tabs at the top - System and Ring. It kept making a funny chime and highlighted the tabs back and forth while a bar was moving across the screen near the bottom (like an installer bar). Then it rebooted and stuck again and I have not been able to get it back to at least attempting to boot windows.
Any idea?

Go to BootLoader and try i guess
So..i finally got mtty working. I don't really know how but i got it working despite the code 10 error while installing.But i decided to install the rom thorugh custom RUU after the task 29 format. So i did everything the mtty tutorial said but now, i can't flash the custom ruu.Whenever I try, it gives me 240 error. I cannot access my internal storage, activesync will not recognize my phone. I cannot boot into anything it gets blocked at the Touch Diamond screen. Did a hard reset..nothing worked. Please help me with a solution! i just want to flash a rom onto it so i can use it. Momentarily I can't do nothing with it...
EDIT : GOT IT! I had to reinstall the official rom back. after that everything back to normal.

I have a K3 Note, the K50-3Ts version, that I am trying to flash.
After I installed TWRP and SU, it would get stuck on the Lenovo splash screen.
Not to worry, I was going to flash it.
I've tried several files, either from links here or from Needrom. Every time I get an error message that the file I am trying to flash is corrupt.
I figure one or two files corrupt is a misfortune. But three, !
I was trying to install via OTG USB, because for some reason the SD card is not read.
Any ideas anyone? In the meantime, I'll go and try another one or two downloads.
