why my mteor don't receive images with bluetooth - HTC Breeze

help me please, my mteor don't receive images with bluetooth, why ??

what can i do ?

If you go to Settings--Connections--Beam you'll get a Choice to "recieve incoming beams. When this is set you can recieve bluetooth files and pictures

In the com manager, in the bluetooth settings you have 3 possible choices (they may not be labelled exactly as is, as I am translating from French) :
- disabled
- active
- detectable
If you have not ever paired your phone with the other device you are using to send the pictures, you must set bluetooth to "detectable" which will make your phone visible to other bluetooth devices located around during a few minutes. Once you have allowed the other device to connect once, setting bluetooth to "active" mode should be sufficient.

ok good thx

or you can install moBlue. It works great and you can set you're own folders. ie to the storage card

Error: Problem with bluetooth hardware

I'm trying to connect my phone (ATT HTC Tilt) with a stereo bluetooth headset or trying to send files and everytime I scan for new devices it gives me an error stating "PROBLEM WITH BLUETOOTH HARDWARE"
Additionally, the "Turn on Bluetooth" option always turns off automatically....
What is going on? Can anyone help?
Please...
Anyone who experienced this or can give me a hand? Thanks!!
I had this same problem all of a a sudden on my Kaiser. But after doing a hard reset this got resolved.
And now i just flashed Dutty's 6.1 ROM. Its amazing update..
Cheers
Thanks Arun...
Tried the hard reset NO LUCK! Problem persists, and bluetooth keeps turning off. I go back to the wireless manager and check both boxes and they come back off in 30 seconds!!
When searching for devices it says (ERROR: PROBLEM WITH BLUETOOTH HARDWARE)
Not able to beam or receive files at all.
Any help? Thanks so much!!
Same Problem
Running into same problem here. I haven't even updated the ROM from stock yet, although I have done the JumpSPL step (cuz I received the white screen). My Radio is 1.27.14.09.
Any help is appreciated.
I would think that if you have done a hard reset and you don't install anything and you still have a problem then you **** is borked. time to do a warranty exchange.
has your bluetooth ever worked, with the rom that is currently on your phone?
Problem with Bluetooth Hardware!!!!
I am having the same problem. I have the stock AT&T ROM. Here is exactly what is happening:
The bluetooth is not working on my Tilt at all. It has lost connections with devices that it was already paired with (a Motorola Q Global and a headset). All attemps to pair the devices again lead to the following: "Error: Problem with Bluetooth Hardware".
When I go to Bluetooth Settings through the Comm Manager, then Mode and check "Turn on Bluetooth" and "Make this device visible to other devices", it unchecks as soon as I exit the settings menu. The Comm Manager constantly shows the bluetooth being off and when I tap the icon, the phone "thinks" for awhile and then it greys out again.
The only change that I have made from the time that it was working is to install the iphone package, and a today plugin (which I have since uninstalled) found here.
I recently changed my Kaiser Tweak bluetooth settings: I changed the BitPool from 'medium' to 'very high', but my headset was still working after that. The other settings are:
Sample Rate - 48000 (Advised)
Use Joint Stereo - Enabled (Default)
Receive Files - Enabled
Any ideas/suggestions?

Click to collapse
They only way to fix the problem was for me to do a hard reset.

bluetooth invisible-mode: does it work with paired device?

If i have paired with f.e. my carkit, and after that i UNcheck my bluetooth to
"visible for other devices": does it then still work with my (already) paired carkit?
also, is there any way to save battery-power while still having bluetooth enabled for my (paired) carkit?
This is the only bluetooth-device i use.....
The diamond has a very low battery-performace, thats why i ask......
Thank you group!
The visibility should make no difference if the device is already paired and set as authorised. Its this was on every SE and Nokia I have used. Even for connecting to my Mac.
As long as its already set up it should still connect.
thank you for your answer.
visible = pairing mode, i.e. setting up new pairings. No effect on existing ones. (And wont change the battery life, since its not sending a signal but waiting for the other device to say hello first.)

Contact transfer to HandsFree - how to?

Hello,
I am using my Diamond (standard ROM 1.93.479.3 WWE) with my car BT hands-free set (Nokia CK-15W).
To use it effectively, it would be nice to download Diamond contacts into Nokia in order to have contact names displayed. Unfortunately I cannot do it in any way...
After pairing both devices I got the invitation to transfer contact but it ended with the transfer error. Then I tried to do it manually with the same result.
I tried re-pairing, resetting both Diamond and Nokia (back to factory settings) and many more combinations but I didn't succeed. I even tried to send contacts to my HF by beam.
The interesting thing is that usually 2-3 tries end with the transfer error and the next one doesn't end at all! I mean the animated transfer icon stays at the display for a long time (3 hours was the max I waited) but the transfer never completes.
Another thing is that after several re-pairings my Diamond is seen by Nokia with the Owner Name - but previously was seen with its ID! That's a little strange.
Can anyone help me with this?
Can it be something connected with BT profiles? Nokia has only hands-free profile... Just in case I turned on any feature that can be connected to file transfer like BT file sharing but still no effect.

Problem with connecting to car hadsfree - Jetware doesn't seem to help

Hello
I use the "standard" Diamond (WWE ROM 1.93.479.3) with car handsfree set Nokia CK-15W. The PDA can be paired with Nokia, the connections can be made but other activities are impossible to get
I see in BT devices that Nokia supports only Hands-free Profile 1.5, not any others... But I also know (from Nokia's website & XDA) Phonebook Access Profile 1.0 but it has crippled it so it actually cannot do what is intended for.
I was unable to download contacts from Diamond to Nokia so I installed Jetware extension. It worked and the contacts have been transferred to Nokia in a minute.
Unfortunately now the car kit is almost unusable - for example:
- there is no calls history available
- I can't disconnect any call
- there is always "private number" displayed for incoming calls, no matter whether I have this person in the address book
- and many more.
I tried several different jetware configurations (enabling and disabling many features) but no matter what config I try the situation still exist. I also tried to reset both Diamond and Nokia.
Anyone can suggest something that may sort out the problem? Shall I uninstall Jetware after transferring the address book? Any more suggestions?

Bluetooth and automatic discovery

Hi guys,
I have an X1 and a new Nokia6600 slide.
I have them both paired to my laptop and car (which have both bluetooth built-in) Both of the phones have bluetooth enabled and are always visible, all options to disable bluetooth or to stop being visible are disabled.
The biggest difference is this....
When I turn on my laptop or step into my car, my Nokia says, look I found your laptop/car, you're now connected! (without me doing a single thing)
My X1 is like ".........................." nothing... I have to manually enable the connection via for example ActiveSync, and chose to connect via bluetooth and then everything works fine.
I checked every setting concerning bluetooth or security and everything but I just can't find an option to make my X1 act the same as my 6600. It also doesn't matter if I just turn off the 6600 and have only the X1 turned on.
Maybe it is a setting, maybe it needs some tool or something.. I hope somebody here can help me or point me into the right direction.
Thanks!
