Need super help with dopod d810!!! Upgrade ERROR!!!!

i went to the website
www.asia.htc.com/asia/event/WM6/index.html
and followed the on-screen instruction
what happened now is that there's an update error
i followed the step by step to recover but the thing just stuck there
now whenever i on my dopod d810,
my screen just shows the 3 color screen
and that's that
i dont know what to do!!!
help!
and this is crap
i cant seem to establish a connection AT ALL with the activesync
and whenever i want to update, it just says ERROR [286]
i did ALL the steps it suggested
- disconnect USB cable from phone
- remove the battery
- wait 3 seconds and reinstall
- when you switch on, you see 3 screens
- connect USB cable again
- resume install
and then after i resume install,
SAME PROBLEM again! ERROR [286]
its like a vicious cycle!

i am currently using activesync 4.5
and right now whenever i connect my usb to my phone,
the activesync doesnt seem to be able to detect the phone at all

i actually used the Aussie one and that doesnt work i think
(assuming that is the problem)
I tried the SEA one and it also doesnt seem to work
I heard that you need to use specific update
the problem is
i dont know where my dopod originate from???
is there any way to tell?

what does the tri-colour screen say?
you can check out trinityguides upgrade problem faq and see if those steps help you.. all isn't lost yet, you should be able to revive your device

while the official WM6 latest version has

It's not strange at all. The rom that you downloaded is a cooked rom. I think the cook removed any excessive stuff and so you may not find everything you want there.

[HELP] installing new rom stuck on 99%

After i tried to install a new rom it stuck on 99% when i put my phone on it will only go to the bootloader... what can i do???

Always post the data of your your phone,to get help.
secondly you had a bad flash,perhaps your phone is CID locked. Which rom were you trying to flash ?
Now to recover,download the official carrier's rom and flash it while in bootloaders.The phone will start working again in default status,then,Read and understand the unlocking method and the flashing guide,read the stickies carefully and perform the method correctly.

i have a t-mobile vario:

sp 1.06
i removed the simlock with lockwizb and a tried to put airfawizard rom on it so now i have this tricolord screen en there is nothing i can do.. tried to update i with the original carrier rom but it says update error so in seems it can't see my phone or something but my usb is plugged in i hope i can fix this i only can see this blue green red screen it drives me crazy hope you can help me.....

If you can go to boot loader, most likely you will be ok. When you plug in the usb port, does the words in the screen change from serial to USB? Once it changes, then flash your official, and then CID unlock your device (this is different from SIM unlock). Then flash to the ROM you want!!

The only thing it does is going to bootloader and when i plug my usb in it say usb but when i try to install my original rom from t-mobile ( a update ) it says it's looking for information on my mda but after a couple of second it's say UPDATE ERROR i use windows vista can that be a problem? and how do i know wich one is the original..?

Vista dont like upgrading and stuff...but there is a work around, search the forum and see if you find it. Or try using XP.

How did you resolve the issue I'm having very simular problems and believe it's my Vista OS causing the problem..

I attempted an upgrade to WM6 using an Upgrade .Bat from this site. I was slightly impatiant due to not being able to complete the downgrade first anyway the upgrade frose, after a while I canceled the update and carried out a hard re-set... Since then I'm not able to boot nor connect to my desktop via Active sync (WMDC (Vista))
I've followed every instruction I can find but only to be meet with RUU Errors saying can't connect or file open. I can however acces my Bootloader screen and when connection is made the USB symbol shows on the screen of my phone...
Any help would be greatly recieved......

i am having a problem with the trinity i unlocked sim with a tool i found here and then upgrade rom to 6.1 using hardspl 1.30 by oli till now everything is fine and working i decide to upgrade the radio rom and the flashing went 100% but when the device rebooted it was showing no gsm and it would start windows and get stuck in windows loader i tried to refalsh spl to 1.2 to des and always flashes 100% but 1.30.olipro stays tried to reflash with every radio rom i found for trinity and always flashes 100% but still no gsm i tried os cooked and official but with no avail. i found the original spl 1.06 but its .bin any one know how to load it on the device.? i found too some other people with same problem but i cant find any solutions i checked the device with mtty there is no bad blocks but when i do checkimage it gives me a error on radiorom checksum timeout..... does anyone has a solution for my problem please ? any help would be really appreciate it !!!!

hi all to all of you who have my same problem ... after hours and hours hours of searching and trying to find a solution i manage to get trinity back working ehat i did i used this tool attached found here on xda. its made by POF which i thank very much!!! i used it and downgraded the spl to 1.2 olipro after i could flash ant radio rom..... and was back in the game!! hope this could help you all who have the same problem

After i tried to update my T-Mobile Vario to high version of WM5, my device worked with out Radio ROM( GSM ROM), not connected by USB with active syn. , when i entered to color screen my computer make beep means conected but when i wana upgrade SPL & WM6 or downgrade to WM5 connection failed..

Which is your device,G3 or G4 ? First post the vital data of the phone,like IPL/SPL ? which rom were you exactly trying to flash and how you were trying to flash ? only then its possible to help you out.

UpGrade ROM

I have a G4 Wizard (Qtek A9100) and I'm trying to update its ROM after read a lot of topics on XDA-Developers (Wizard Windows Mobile 6 for newbies), GFórum and PlusGMS fórum.
IPL: 2.22.0001
SPL: 2.22.0001
GSM: 02.46.11
OS: 2.22.17.1
I already used two diferent chips from two diferent telephone companies which means SIM is unlocked (is that right ?)
After sometime reading I concluded that CIM was locked.
I downloaded HardSPL software and run yesterday.
Now, after HardSPL
IPL: 2.21.0001
SPL: 2.21.Olip
I believe that now CID is unlocked. (Is that right ?)
Then I used RUU from three different ROMs and the same error appears:
ERROR 300: Invalid Update Tool.
"This Update utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone.Please get newer Update Utility"
What does it means ?
What is wrong ?

Replace the RUU in the Rom with the Mun's RUU provided in the HardSPL thread and run that RUU,it'll work.

Now it time to learn about WM 6.1 and the new ROM features.
I flashed with Diamond Edition. I know there were a lot of ROMs to be used but this one has info safe for G4...
Does CID unlocked even after the flash I made or if I intent to flash another ROM I need to CID unlock again ? As I used HardSPL I understand it is unlocked.

Thanks! you are most welcome.Yes! it'll will remain semi-permanent Cid unlocked,untill you remove HardSPL,you do not have to apply HardSPL everytime you flash a new rom,just flash as many roms as you wish straight away

Now with the new WM 6.1 several questions come up...
1. When I start the Smartphone, a number appears on left upper corner (72410). What does it means ?
2. Wizard doesn't has internat GPS. I have a Deluo GPS antena and I use Destinator software.
Bluetooth is working once Deluo blue light is not flashing (if it is flashing means bluetooth is not connected), but I couldn't until now start using GPS because antena can't find much satellites. There is a set up on Destinator software to configure the GPS but on WM6.1 there is a GPS icon too. Do you know if I need to configure something on WM 6.1 ?
3. Some softwares I had installed on my Storage Card doesn't appears (ShortCut) but they are running when I run using file manager. How can I add these shortcuts on Programs area ?
4. The Wheater tab brings me temperatures in F. Is is possible to configure it to bring in C ?
I noted that battery goes down faster than when I was using WM 5.0 Is it normal ? Is it related to the version of the ROM ?
What differs one ROM from another ROM (considering WM 6.1) ?
I'm sorry for the questions but I'm trying to learn...

Hello,
Some of the problems above I solved, but now I'm facing a serious problem with sync.
I use a Notebook (XP) @ work and another (Vista) @ home.
Everytime I sync with one of them, the other doesn't sync and vice-versa.
What is happening ?

Synch problem
Hello everybody,
I'm still facing synch problems.
Now one more problem come up: Fail to synch due to a register on calendar.
I deleted it on Wizard and on Notebook. Still happening.
Removed and instaled ActiveSync.
Still happening, but this register doesn't exist anymore !
What is happening ? What can I do to fix it and sync with Vista and XP on both Notebooks ?
