How to remove/hide Emoze tray icon ? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hi,
I recently got a Tilt. I have installed emoze on it and everything is working well. The only problem is that I cannot get rid of the emoze icon on the bottom right corner of the Today screen. I believe this is where all the Tray icons are put. This occupies space on the Today screen and causes the scroll bar to become active.
I could not find a setting inside emoze to disable this icon. I could not get any solution after searching online too. All I got was ways to remove the battery and wireless indicators.
So is there a way(reg setting etc) to remove the tray completely or to specifically remove the emoze icon ?
Thanks,
Hrishi

This is a great question. I have the same problem with a different app (Palringo) that sadly chooses to force a tray icon on its users.
There was an app that would supposedly hide the system tray (vjtoggletodayii alpha.), but, I can't get it working on my Tilt.

i tried that vjtoggle app, it did execute but it just removed the Top bar. and not the bottom Tray bar.
any other solutions ? I am getting frustrated with such a trivial thing, I cant believe that the Emoze guys did not include that option in the software.

Time in Task Bar At Today, Removing Tray

I just upgraded to the 2.17 ROM by summiter, and I had the 1.09 that came with my Cingular 8125. After upgrading, I noticed that the time that used to be displayed on the taskbar is now replaced with a battery icon. I changed the time/date portion under settings, already... so,
1. How do i get the time back up there so it shows ALL the time.. even at the today screen?
2. How can I get rid of the tray at the bottom? It only has the "connection" icon thingie there, and i would like to free up that screen space... WA2 gets rid of it, so theres got to be a way, right? Help!
For q2 have a look at JGUI's green catepillar and my app VJToggleToday II (alpha). The latter is not finished yet, but works.

Remove the battery/conn/sound icon from the top bar?

I'm trying to make the top bar less crowded with crap (Volume, Battery, Connection, Phone icons take a lot of space away!)
I'm using wktask and it would look a lot nicer to have a somewhat full task bar!
Thanks (I already searched and couldn't find anything)
bump anyone please?
Have you tried Kaisertweak?
In 'Today Screen' there are several options including some to disable icons in the top bar.
Hope this helps...
Good luck
Well, the only tool i can think of is wisbar advance. It can also replace wktask.
yeah wisbar costs money though. and it doesn't look that nice.
I just liked Wktasks idea of turning the top bar into a task bar like in regular windows editions.
Also: Nothing in KaiserTweak
I have a funky navigation bar. It shows the connection status (Edge/Wifi), radio bars (with edge/3g/analog), and volume next to the X/OK button, but no clock/battery. When looking at the Today screen, the volume icon is hidden, but touchable (takes getting use to). When looking at programs, I can see all 3 next to the X/OK. I'm not entirely sure which bit of tweaking accomplished this, but I did choose, in KaiserTweak, to show "Nothing" for Today Screen>Title Bar - Clock Settings, and "Battery" for Today Screen>Title Bar - Battery/Clock.
I also used an old WM5 tweak to show the clock as Analog through HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Shell\AnalogClock as DWORD, 1
And another, HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ShowTitleBarClock as DWORD, 0 and HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TBOpt as DWORD, 0
Also, ArielBattery can cover whichever of those you want (but clicking the battery icon shows memory usage only).
Doesn't seem to work for me. Ugh....thought it would be an easy fix too....

Weird black square blocking antenna and speaker icon

I just upgraded to the 1.93 ROM and I get this black square in the title menu that keep popping in and out when I tap the task manager shortcut.
Sometimes it just appears by itself, sometimes when I click the shortcut.
Anyone know what this might be?
i think this happens if both clock and battery icon is disabled, WM freaks out, i think that block is reserved space for icon that isnt there, then network icon moves to fill in free space but gets overdrawn :S try enabling clock or battery icons
Yep, that was it. I reenabled the battery icon in DiamondTweak and it went away.
Cheers.

[Q] How to disable ribbons

Hi,
I've just installed PAC-MAN's 4.2.2. Really good ROM and I spotted a little third icon in the notification center.
Then I tapped on that, suddenly a little circle popped up on my screen and just sticked to the left. Then things becomes really annoying, because this little thing just does not go away. I went into the settings - ROM Control - Ribbons, and tried menu - reset ribbons again and again. Still can't get rid of this. Can somebody please tell me how to make this little circle thing disappear?
This little circle thing is really annoying. I'm not sure if this is the official feature of Android, or is it just the dev team's work? It takes the job of Notification center and pops out every single time I get new push notifications. I already see what the notification is from the status bar, and can easily deal with it in the dropdown notification center, so I do not need this thing to tell me again! What's worse, this thing takes up screen space, considering Galaxy Exhibit's screen is already a tiny one. And now I just don't know how to deal with it, letting it sitting there popping up randomly and I just can't turn the thing off.
Then I see that maybe the dev team has brought the idea of Ubuntu's idea. The point is, Ubuntu's idea is just a vertical dock, and the dock idea is not only Mac OS X's, but also Android's - look at the "phone" "contact" and "app drawer" icons at the bottom of the screen! I can't say this is a bad idea, but, please, give me the option to disable it.
Double tap and drag to the x. I think.
OMG it magically worked...
Thanks a lot!!!

Navigation bar glitch (solved)

Hi,
I acquired a brand new Samsung Galaxy S20FE last week and updated it to Android 12 with OneUI 4.1, unfortunately I can't seem to remove this thing appearing on top of the navigation bar.
I tried to change the navigation bar to swipe gestures and it stays more or less in the same place. I also tried to disable the side menu and to change the launcher to Nova and pretty much explored all the settings without success, which let me believe that it is a glitch.
Could somebody tell me how I may be able to remove this please?
Thanks a lot!
maybe it's indicator for which homescreen you're on ??
if it is you can turn that off.

Unfortunately it is not, there is another indicator for the homescreen page that shows up on top of the dock icons. It tried to put only one page on the homescreen as I figured it would be an indicator and it was still there.
When I reboot the phone, this little thing does not appear right away, it comes up after a couple minutes using the phone, if it helps finding the source of the problem.
Factory reset?

it looks like it a cut off transparent toast message but those shouldn't hang around. when you switch to gesture navigation is it the same amount of it that you see ?
it kinda looks like the navigation bar is on top of it obscuring most of it.
that's Samsung Pay, you can disable it from the Samsung Pay's Quick access settings

Yes, at long last, the mystery has been solved! Thanks a lot, I had to update and configure Samsung Pay, it was a non-functioning feature of the application.
