Where is PCMKeyboard?
Where is MessagEase?
PCMKeyboard for me too when I'm on the move.
But surely it's a no-brainer...The hardware keyboard tops the lot?
First choice = The hardware keyboard (of course!)
Second choice = PocketCM Keyboard with my own layout
I voted keyboard, because I assumed that was the hardware keyboard. Until I saw the option for the slide-out qwerty keybard. So subtract one vote from keyboard, and add one to the slide-out.
That can be subjective
Best text input? Wow, that can be very subjective to ones own personal tastes and needs. For me the slide out keyboard is what I use for any doc I'm composing with high character count. For, lets say I just want to enter a user name and password, I will use the on screen key board. And for maybe making a running list (like a grocery list) I might use Transcriber.
I have not voted, firstly because Pocket CM does not appear in the list and secondly that I am undecided between Pocket CM and TouchPal. While Touchpal allows me faster typing but covers more screen real estate making it difficult to handle spreadsheets with frozen headers of more than a few rows
pcmkeyboard really doesnt work very well with window animations :<

Same for me.
Resco Keyboard
I voted other because Resco does Not appear on the list. I have the TMO Wing with the Querky Keyboad but find I always use Resco. So I guess I prefer Resco with the stylus.
The slide keyboard is by far the best method in my opinion, but only after I used the AE Buttons Plus to inactivate the two small soft keys of the slide-out keyboard. Before that, I would hit the left soft key by accident when typing R or T and this would activate the Send command and make my email fly incomplete. There was a thread for that recently in this forum which I started ,and it gave me very useful guidance.
PCMKeyboard is the best on the move but at home i use the hard ware keyboard

And me! Arse.
PCMKeyboard with no doubt is the best
I always liked the HTC T9 pad when i had XDAs without hardware keyboard like on the TytnII and Exec (not counting my Ameo cos I hated the keyboard on that). However, when I installed it on this phone, I found an annoying behaviour where I would select a word but it would put only the first letter of that word in the conversation or message. Very annoying indeed. I have since hard reset the device but have not tried again with any T9 based pad due to time pressures.
Did anyone else have this problem?
I use MessagEase...
...since my old good Palm T3!
the reason i bought the phone is for the slide out keyboard.. lol
I've yet to find any input method I liked as much as Fitaly. So I voted Other.
Slide-out for me, all the way . Got so used to using the MDA Pro keyboard that even though I've had my Vario 3 only a few days I got straight into my stride even with the odd few button changes.
And as has been mentioned 'tis one of the main deal breakers for me too!

Handwriting recognistion with stylus

Hallo people,
I would like to use the stylus for handwriting (for example appointments). Is it possible with htc touch diamond?
If not please recommend me some softwares where I can download.
Thank you in advance.
Greetings!
Sony
This used to be a feature of NOTES, no?
Yes it is possible
Tap on the Arrow visible next to the keyboard Icon appearing in the center of the screen (when you are in the Text Screen, or appointment or email or...)Tap on Other input methods
Block Recogniser
Letter Recongniser
Transcriber
They are all capable of handwriting recognition.
Personally, I prefer the Letter Recogniser.. but it's your call
All the best
Does anyone know how come I don't have any of that?
No block recognizer, no transcriber... nothing.... just typing is possible... reg key?

In that thread, there are people who mentioned not having the transcriber either..
Perhaps you could PM them and see if they have managed to find a work around
Thanks! Hadn't discovered that one yet

Dutch T9 for block recognizer?

I own a TD WWE and I installed "T9 Input 14 Languages Update.cab".
Ths does make T9 work with keyboards and such. But the SIP I prefer to use (Block Recognizer!!) doesn't give me T9.
On my (Dutch) Touch Cruise I owned before my TD I did have Block Recognizer with T9.
Please help!
Anyone?

Touch Fingerpad with portuguese T9

Hello everyone,
Can someone tell me where can i find a good (with "big"keys) touch fingerpad with a portuguese T9???
I've been searching the net but no luck so far...
thank's a lot everyone
You mean T9 like when a key has 3 letters on it? Or just an autocomplete of the words.
Because the autocomplete is the MAJOR problem I have when using WWE ROMs. I lose all the ability to have the words corrected and auto completed because the keyboards only shows words in English as an option.
One of the best keyboards I found is Fingerkeyboard2, but is does not supports T9. Only Windows Mobile word suggestions. I've seen samsung Omnia keyboards (that have a layout with 2 letters on the same key) but I don't know the names of those keyboards.
