I searched XDA but didn't find a hint (yet).
Calling my intl. provider requires an 11 digit PIN.
Is there a way to submit the PIN after calling an 800 number without manual entry?
I had YEARS AGO a Nokia where you could simply use OLD Hayes AT commands ("," for a 1/2 second dialing pause) but it wont work with the std. or wizard dialer. I was thinking about something like 1-800-123-4567 ,,,,,, 999 888 777 11
Template dialing
Save the number in the contacts and embed letter p where you want it to pause.
For one of my contacts the number looks like this
1(800) 725-8382p31337p1p0114455555555
This will leave the phone to dial 1-800-725-8382 calling card access number.
pause.
enter the pin 31337.
pause.
enter 1 to specify that I want to place a call.
pause.
dial the number 0114455555555.
One more thing, I tried to seperate the phone number with dashes like 011-44-55-55-5555 and that didn't work. It stopped dialing as soon as it read the dash. So I guess you can't have dashes except in the begining.
yeah its correct
p (pauses/pulses) can be used
in nokia and sony ericsson p can be used by pressing * threee times repeatidly in ppc using
press * twice only

You guys ROCK - T H A N K S it works!!!
when i select new SMS and switch to the full keyboard, i begin typing in the to: field. after one letter the phone dialer pops up and start accepting key entries.
anyway to stop this?
Wonder if there is any callback application available or anyone can do such application where you make a call, the phone will actually call to the callback triggering server, then after xx sec, it will hang up the call. then upon any incoming call within xx sec , it will answer , pause then send the string of numbers made earlier to the call with option to add suffix.

Anyone else having problems using "pause" (placing a ; (semicolon)) in numbers to allow for dialing an extension or conference bridge number/passcode after the main number? The pause itself does work (a dialog appears waiting for me to click "Send" to send the remaining digits), but that sending seems to not work. This worked perfectly on my EVO 4G LTE, but on the M8, the numbers after the pause when I hit "Send" on the pause dialog sound like they get sent -way- too fast, and the bridge I'm dialed into doesn't recognize them. Very frustrating.
I am seeing a weird issue that outgoing calls through Google Voice (which I have always used) do not show the name and number of my contacts, but they show the other number that Google Voice routes the calls through.
So lets say I have Jon Doe with number + 1 212 333 1234; but Google Voice routes through some random lets say Louisiana number +1 504 111 1111 my outgoing call will show as
Louisiana +1 504 111 1111
and NOT Jon Doe + 1 212 333 1234
This is only an issue on this phone... all other phones/ROMs have always shown Jon Doe..
