Is this normal? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

The battery time on my Tilt is absolutely terrible. I fully charged my phone at night. Sometime i would make a few phone calls in the morning with Bluetooth on and didn't even use data at all, by the afternoon I'm already down to less than 80%. My phone usually run down to less than 30% at night. Is this normal? I wonder if there is anything wrong with my phone or battery.

Terrible Battery life - 4-6 hours max

Is anyone else having battery life issues? Im running the latest Firestorm ROM from agent_47.
Heres how my day went today. All days are similar and I still have crap battery life every day.
Phone goes on charge when i'm at my desk. So last night would have gone on charge from about 9pm.
Phone then stayed on charge, through the night until 10.30am when I woke up.
I sent one text message and went to work.
Checked my phone at dinner at 1pm - 80% battery
Went back to work.
Went on my break at 6pm - 0% battery
Within 9 hours my phone had gone completly dead. I had not used the phone all day apart from in the morning to send a message and to check it on my dinner. The phone stayed on all day but in standby mode.
Does this sound like a problem with the phone or with the battery. Remember I haven't even used it all day, its just been on standby and it can't even make it 9 hours.
I have emails on but thats only setup to check every hour. Some days i've taken it off charge at 10am and its been dead by 3pm. Im not using any programs on it because im at work.
Recommendations?
is you keep wifi and bluetooth on all the time that sounds about right
1) try a ROM with better battery life (i.e a non-manila one)
2) have you got Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and/or Data connection on?
3) are you in a weak signal area? have you tried a different radio?
4) hold old is your battery? is it original?
the list goes on, but these should track down if it's issues with the battery or just heavy usage

WiFi is always off as is Bluetooth. Data connection is always on but has always been on ever since I got the phone and never had any problems.
Got full signal and the battery is the original. I never used the agent_47 rom before the one he has out now since it was released and I never had a problem, then all of a sudden my phone just started dying and running out of juice within a few hours.
I flashed to the latest ROM to see if that solved the problem but it hasnt
Any GPS app loaded ?
Unload and do soft reset.
test,experiments....xperience!
here's my story.
on how i learnt and increased my xperia x1's battery life about 50% or more.
firstly.
do a test okay.
make your phone's battery completely dead and then, charge it.
during the charging process.
check how much it took, to make xperia's battery 100%
official time to make xperia x1's time is 2hrs 15mins.
if your phone charged faster than the official time.
then that means, at the battery is aged or not using it's full potential.
and here's how i can prove it.
my xperia took exactly 55mins to charge from 0% to 100%.( whether it was a stock rom or a custom rom, althought there was small variation. say about 10mins at max) when i was charging it from 0% to 100%
then i went so many websites and infos from the web.
one read that, to make your battery last longer or to make it...use it's full potential. you have to put it in a freezer for a day or two or more.
(although, this might completely sound stupid or ridiculous, it actually works)
i'm sorry but i cannot remember the exact temperature or what my freezer's temperature was when i stored it, will let you know though)
then i stored it for day on every alternative of a week. which means, 4 times. that is 24hrsX4.
after that, i did a little test and againand this time, when i charged it.
it took my xperia 2 hrs to charge full unlike before. although it is as same as the official time. it still is close and better than my previous result.
then, to make another experiment.
i differentiated time line of usage.
here it is.
before
music playback via earphones - 8hrs 45mins
music playback via loudspeaker - 5hrs 30 mins
video playback via earphones - 2hrs 28mins
video playback via loudspeaker - 1hr 49mins
internet using gprs(3g mode) - 2hrs 33mins
internet turned on even on standby(3g mode) - 3hrs- 10hrs
after
music playback via earphones - 19hrs 20mins
music playback via loudspeaker - 9hrs 55mins
video playback via earphones - 5hrs 15mins
video playback via loudspeaker - 3hrs 20 mins
internet using gprs(3g mode) - 5 hrs
internet turned on even on standby(3g mode) - 15hrs-32hrs
and so, my battery lasted longer. it even lasted slightly longer when i used spike's unoff series rom. say about, 10%.
anyhow.i hope i helped you. it didn't spoil my xperia.

[Q] Battery weirdness

Hi guys,
I have attached a screenshot of a juice plot of my battery. I turned on flight mode last night and as shown for ~1.5h everything is fine and dandy but then the battery is being drained. I am at a loss regarding what might be going on there and have no clue on how to debug this. There were no apps running and I did not use the phone until the morning (turned flight mode off again).
Does anybody have an idea?
Thanks and greetings
N.
hum... I maybe seeing the same issue, the past few days my battery overnight is being drained by about 20% when in flight mode, normally it only goes down 5%~.
could it be related to the time change? only thing that I can think of that has changed in the past few days.
My battery power is a bit inconsistent and it has its good days and bad days. I am currently using the Hong Kong battery in my phone and have been making calls, using the internet and listening to music for a couple of hours while at work. The phone has been on for 22 hours and 20 minutes and the battery is reading 69% yet the other night I went to bed with the battery at about 70% and when I woke up in the morning the phone was totally dead!

[Q] Losing battery doing nothing

I used to think this "cell standby battery drain" problem everyone was having was just that cell standby happened to be what was using the most battery instead of screen like most phones. But, lately this phone has been aggravating me greatly. I will unplug my phone when it becomes fully charged in the morning and go back to sleep for around 3 hours. In this time of doing nothing the battery will drop from 100% down to between 85%-75%, does anyone else have this problem? Where the battery just loses a huge amount of charge doing nothing. Because it's starting to really annoy me. All my other Android phones would lose around 1% an hour in deep sleep and I'm only getting around 12 hours of use now with 1 hour of screen on time. I have the VZW model with 4.4.4.

Alcatel Idol 4S Battery Drain

My Alcatel Idol 4S Windows 10 seems to lose charge. Yesterday, after fully charging around 4:00 PM, I let the phone sit, completely unused, till this morning. It was turned off with LTE enabled...nothing else on, and most everything set not to run in background. I also have set the phone not to sync automatically. Now at 9:00 it is at 94%. When I browse or use YouTube it really drains quickly. I have done a factory reset. Any thoughts?
Once the phone went down to 10% and powered down. Afterwards it charged normally. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Update: A 20 minute call drained the phone by 4%
Update 2 I went back in and made sure that absolutely nothing is working in background. I wish another Windows owner could give me a sense of what kind of battery usage/drainage is normal for this phone. I amcoming from a Lumia 521 which drains slowly. I'm reluctant to return this to T-Mobile and wind up with a refurb.

Last night I charged the phone to 100%, turned everything off...phone in airplane mode, so no cellular drain. This morning phone at 95% with nothing running and nothing in background. Surely someone on this forum must have insight into this.

5% battery drain overnight seems about par for the course, no? Means your phone untouched would stay on for 6.6 days in standby mode if my math is right.

is that par for the course? Some people seem to lose no or 1% charge when in standby overnight (everything off). How much charge do you lose when you make a 20 minute call, or play a youtube, or when your phone is not in use, but is connected to cellular with bluetooth on?
Thanks for your response
Send it to Alcatel for a battery replacement. You will get the same phone back that you sent in. I just did, and my battery life issues are much better.
The simple fact that your phone shuts of at 10% means that you need a new battery. It will get worse.

First day battery drain. Is it normal?

Hello guys.
I just bought today my p30 pro.
I opened it and the battery was at 64%.
I setup my phone etc for some time and the battery went after some hours to 50%.
Then I put the phone aside and picked it up after about an hour and the battery was at 42%.
Nothing was happening at the background, no downloading no synching etc.
Is it something normal because it was the first usage of the phone after opening it? After the first fully charge I will give it, is it something that will not happen again?
Thanks in advance.

Hi m8, have you checked in Settings/Battery if there are some apps that squize your battery juice? Ex:Facebook, Instagram or another app that is always on and stays connected in background?
I always deactivate those apps and other ones from staying open in background or starting on boot.

I checked and i didnt find something unusual.
After it went at 42%, it was loosing 1% every 1,5 / 2 hours with just sitting there.
Today i gave it its first fully charge and after 4 hours its still at 100%, with just 10-15 minutes of calling time and a couple of sms. But for now it looks good.
I just wanted to know if the battery behavior i had is normal when you open the phone for the first time before you charge it for the first time.

When i've opened my phone it was on 58% battery. After software update and setting it up (~4h) it was on 10%. I've charged it overnight and on first day usage (from 7:30 AM 'till 23:30 PM) it was down to 23%. After that, on normal day by day use i can get ~ 6-7 hours on SOT (AOD, YouTube, Facebook, email, Chrome, calls, some photos/videos depending situation). If i have a busy day at work, it will drain ~10%-15% on 6-8 hours without hard usage.
Is it normal to have that high% at cell standby?
I cant find a way to post the picture, but my cell standby is at 18.89%.
