Anyone else got problems running msn live on wifi ?
MSN Messenger runs fine till i turn off the wifi
TyTN got extremly slow then (memmaid show me connmgr.exe is runnig 100% then)
Tested on 2 Tynt II WWE and 1 Dutch all 3 same problem

Evry two times i switch off the phone, my MTeor looses its connection settings.
This makes it impossible to connect to the internet, wap, etc. In addition, my POP mail account is deleted.
Anyone had the same problem and found a solution ?
I called Qtek assistance but they dont know anything about this issue.

Yes I have this problem too - and also a problem with call waiting - when you are on the phone and have call waiting enabled for "notification" the phone HANGS!
The MTeor has a terrible radio stack and needs urgent ROM fixes...

Same here. The HTC ROM is crap.
I have now updated my phone with the imate rom.
Just like the HTC ROM it looses all of the connecteion settings and email accounts and the battery life is just as crap.
This phone is a pile of junk.
Period.
I'm sure that future ROM updates will correct any problems MTeoR has.
If you recall, the qTek 9000 was far worse on it's first ROM version, MTeoR is much more usable as a v1.0 device.
@Pagemakers: I understand your frustration/dissapointment, but posting the same thing on every different thread in the MTeoR forum is not nice. Are you certain that your phone is OK? I have a MTeoR working with 3G Cosmote network and it works fine, no loss of settings whatsoever (I also have an 1GB microSD card in it, working fine). Plus, I get 3 full days AT LEAST on each battery charge (UMTS coverage all the time).
Try to send your phone for a service check or exchange it (might be a case of bad production series - happened to me with a Nokia N93).

Mail account and c° go away every 2 boots .... :-(
and when BT is actived i get less than a day battery..

Hi community,
I updated my MDAIII from the latest TMOB ROM to WM 5/6 without touching the ROM size. The device worked perfect without any issues before updating. During my usage of WM 6 my device freezes often and I have to hardrest the device. Most of the freezes happened when I start to use wifi.
I decided to rollback to my latest WM2003 ROM. Thererfore I used the manual in XDA-Wiki. My problem is that my MDA III is now unstable as I used WM 5/6. Which means that the device is freezing if I use wifi.
Has someone any ideas what I could do that my MDA III is working propper as before?

It seems that the battery is the main problem! When I use my mda III in the cradle all the time, everything works fine. I will buy a new battery @ ebay soon. Any suggestions therefore?

I replaced my old battery against a brand new one and "everthing" works fine now. I bougth a 1700 mha battery from ebay for ~ 12 EUR.

I have issued some problems with satnav software's. In last few days, when using iGo8 or GMXT (Garmin Mobile XT) the satellite signal is sometimes losing and turning back. The same situation is on both SW. The tytn II is used in Serbia.
Today, I have installed THE SAME version of iGo8 which has problems (not jet done with GMXT) on other tytn II which has cooked ROM (hyperdragon) and guess what: Software was working perfectly!!! Navigation, routing everything else was working great.
I checked configuration on both tytn's and it's the same. Port for communication is COM4 and baud rate is the same: 57600.
Mine tytn II which has problems is running on WM 6.1 downloaded from HTC web site and other one on which navigation is going smoothly has cooked ROM as I said before.
Could anyone advise what to do because I'm planning to travel arround Europe soon.

I have a problem with 1 provider, my kaiser get signal for some moments and die (no signal)! with a different provider works very well.
Tested radios: All i think. From default to 1.70 and 1.71
Tested OS: WM 6.1, WM 6.5, Android scoot Cyanogen 6.1
Same problem with all.
Any solution to this?

have you tested signal reception of that provider on another phone?
Yes! All other phones work perfecly. Just my kaiser is having the problem.
Something strange: Last time was totally dead after some time and now is again with low signal.
I have tested 4 different providers and my kaiser have problems just with 1.
