I love Resco Audio Recorder and am using an AT&T Tilt on HTC TyTN II rom. When I have Resco Audio Recorder (RAR) installed, my phone earpiece and speakerphone doesn't work. I tried calling people (not sure if they can hear me) and the call connects but I cannot hear them.
Does anyone here know of a fix? It seems to be a known problem on Resco's forums.
I had the same problem on my HTC HD2...
didn't found out why it's happening
but removing it solved the problem.
by the way...
when the call connects.. if you "mute" and then "unmute" again
they will be able to hear you.

Is there a way to do this with the tilt? i have used google and found LivePVR but you need it to be in speaker phone mode.
was thinking about using my BT headset with a splitter, one to my pc and the other do the headset, i have the Plantronics Pulsar 260, but that would mean i have to be near my pc to record any phone call.
Im hoping there is somthing i missed and some1 knows of some software out there that can do this without having to put it in speaker phone mode.
No. You don't miss anything. None of them is available, yet.
Actually, you've just missed to list Resco Audio Recorder v4.x.x. as well. I was shocked that you've asked this question (due to your experience with PPC, from 8125 to 8925.)
I'm using my Touch Diamond with TomTom in my car. Also I have a Nokia CK-7W carkit which I'm using with my Touch Diamond without any problems. When I get called, the radio switches to mute (*Telephone*) and I can hear the phonecall through the carkit speaker.
What I want now doesn't seem to work however. I'm using the program BTaudio to bluecast any sound that comes from my Touch Diamond to the Nokia CK-7W carkit. This works: When I enable BTaudio, sound is being redirected through my carkit, so any sounds from TomTom (or my TD mp3 player) is being played through this carkit speaker. The problem however: It is continuously claiming the speaker, even when there is no sounds. So when TomTom isn't talking, I still get the radio muted (*Telephone*), but no sounds from the carkit speaker (obviously).
I would like the radio to mute only there is sound coming from my Touch Diamond, so I can continue to use the car-radio for my normal music. I know the carkit has this option, with my previous Nokia 6230 the radio muted when I was dialing a number, to hear the dailtone through the carkit speaker. Also, the normal carkit function is working properly: It only mutes the car radio when there is an incoming or outgoing call, enabling the car radio to play music when there isn't any calling.
So in short: I would like BTaudio (or any other program) to only bluecast when there is actual sound coming from the Touch Diamond, otherwise I would like to hear the car-radio. Is there any way in realizing this? I heard from another person who also uses BTaudio and the Touch Diamond that doesn't has any problem with this on his Parrot carkit, it works the way I (and he) wants it to work.
I hope I'm making sense to all of you, because I would really like this 'issue' solved! Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions!
Sorry for kicking this post, but I would really like TomTom to work properly with my carkit, so if anyone has any suggestion I would gladly hear them!
Did you find a solution?
hello ,
I have install fring and when in communication there is sounds like a fax and I do not ear anything. Now that skype is working with diamond I had try and I have the same problem. Is there someone who know why and what to do.
Thanks
Fring and Skype work on my Touch Diamond but only for a few minutes, after which the sound stops working - not just for the VoIP applications but the System Sound itself is gone e.g., cannot even hear music!
Have to reboot to get the sound back.
Any one else facing the same problem? Was wondering whether there is a problem with the VoIP stack.
I am using the Sprint HTC Touch Diamond.
Fring fine for me
Friends,
I purchased the software vito audio notes awhile back and wondered if it was possible to capture audio via bluetooth from phone calls internal vs. speaker phone?
I did some reasearch and the only thing that I could find is audiogateway by softick corp. I didn't see any difference between Bluetooth Audio vs. Soft ticket application.
Is this one of the same or no? How can I have bluetooth audio application automatically turn on when a phone call is received via pocket pc?
Please advise,
Thank You,
Tvos
I have Vito Audionotes on a WM Phone Edition SPV C600 and it works great. I always believed that the limitation is with the Kaiser hardware and that it cannot be overcome, so I would be interested to see if it is in fact possible to record the other side of the conversation without resorting to using the speakerphone. I have tried a few things, like using a wired headset, and it still won't work.
I assumed you had found something that I didn't know about, so I searched for Softick Audio Gateway, but could only find it for Mac OS X and Palm OS.
I still know of no "nice" way of recording phone conversations
so far, I have tried bluetooth audio which streams the audio to the BT, but it does not record.
Vito states you need audio gateway, but this is for palm - so I guess we are out of luck, except for using the speaker.
ONe way would be to have a turn the volume up loud on the speaker so therefore the sound can record, or be in a room where it's quiet.

Guys i really need some help here. I have been having this very weird issue with my X1.
When i call people or people call me 95% of the time they cant hear me at all, suggesting a problem with microphone obviously. BUT when i put them on loud speaker (by pressing the loudspeaker on the keypad whilst on call) everything is fine. They can hear me perfectly fine.
Does the X1 have 2 microphone by any chance and 2nd get enabled when on loudspeaker? I have tried several ROMs win6.1 and win6.5 and 4 different radios all with same result.
Anyone got a clue what is going on?
Many thanks in advance
When you use resco audio recorder, reset the phone and the mic should work on your next call.

I have never used resco audio recorder. Its not even installed on my phone.
When I use any audio recording on my phone it seems to cancel out the mic. For some odd reason.
