Annoying Microphone Problem with X1? - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys i really need some help here. I have been having this very weird issue with my X1.
When i call people or people call me 95% of the time they cant hear me at all, suggesting a problem with microphone obviously. BUT when i put them on loud speaker (by pressing the loudspeaker on the keypad whilst on call) everything is fine. They can hear me perfectly fine.
Does the X1 have 2 microphone by any chance and 2nd get enabled when on loudspeaker? I have tried several ROMs win6.1 and win6.5 and 4 different radios all with same result.
Anyone got a clue what is going on?
Many thanks in advance

When you use resco audio recorder, reset the phone and the mic should work on your next call.

I have never used resco audio recorder. Its not even installed on my phone.

When I use any audio recording on my phone it seems to cancel out the mic. For some odd reason.

Problem with Resco Audio Recorder

I love Resco Audio Recorder and am using an AT&T Tilt on HTC TyTN II rom. When I have Resco Audio Recorder (RAR) installed, my phone earpiece and speakerphone doesn't work. I tried calling people (not sure if they can hear me) and the call connects but I cannot hear them.
Does anyone here know of a fix? It seems to be a known problem on Resco's forums.
I had the same problem on my HTC HD2...
didn't found out why it's happening
but removing it solved the problem.
by the way...
when the call connects.. if you "mute" and then "unmute" again
they will be able to hear you.

Recording Phone calls

Is there a way to do this with the tilt? i have used google and found LivePVR but you need it to be in speaker phone mode.
was thinking about using my BT headset with a splitter, one to my pc and the other do the headset, i have the Plantronics Pulsar 260, but that would mean i have to be near my pc to record any phone call.
Im hoping there is somthing i missed and some1 knows of some software out there that can do this without having to put it in speaker phone mode.
No. You don't miss anything. None of them is available, yet.
Actually, you've just missed to list Resco Audio Recorder v4.x.x. as well. I was shocked that you've asked this question (due to your experience with PPC, from 8125 to 8925.)

Bluetooth hs connectivity with g1

Hey guys, having some problems with my g1 and bluetooth headset device. I'm using the JabraBT530, which connects fine, i can play mp3's and the audio is great, then when it comes to making a call, nothing...people apparently hear me, i can't hear them, the call screen reads bluetooth, i hear the "click" when a call is placed and everything but no audio, ive tried everything (volume of course) and no results. The call audio seems to only still come out of just the phone, it's driving me nuts, i've tried it on a different phone, works fine...any help please, this headset sounds real nice and i'd like to keep it but need to get it to work on the g1, thanks.

Bluetooth Car Kit problems, Kaiser TyTN II Official WM6.1

Hi, I have a TyTN II and i'm using a BT handsfree enabled car stereo. I can pair the phone with the radio, make calls and receive them, but I have problems with the microphone/voice sending, that is, when I'm making or receiving a call, shortly after responding, the other party can't hear me, or hears only clicks and distorted sound. I can hear the other party's sound without problems however.
I have made tests, calling to my home's answering machine, and during the call, after a short time the clicks and distort appear again, If I don't hang, sometimes the sound from the phone is fixed, only to be wrong again after a while.
It can't be signal problems, when I use the phone without the handsfree it works OK, and can't be the handsfree itself, it works well with my other phones.
I have tried all that I had read in the forums: pairing/unpairing, installing BT fixes, using KaiserTweak to tune BT settings... nothing worked.
Please help me, I really want to use the phone on my car, and can't use since I've got it...
any ideas? thanks in advance!

Here, use BTAUDIO to solve it
Thanks, but that did not solve the mic problem. I have tested a Motorola HF800 handsfree and strangely it works well with it... but not for my car stereo

2. Activate your bluetooth headset, and put it in "find" mode
3. Goto your phones comm manager and turn Blueooth on
4. Now pair your headset with your phone
