Hows it going folks,
I was wondering if anyone has any fixes for the caller id over bluetooth. I tried it with and without the jetware program but the CID just doesn't seem to work correctly on the parrot display. Everything else over BT seems to work perfectly though. I hope someone has input for me.
Thanks

I don't know how the parrot works, but with my Pioneer BT-980 (I think that's the model #. It's the one with BT built-in) car stereo, it will only show the number, not the name, until I beam each phonebook entry to my cat stereo first. Once I beam each phonebook entry to my car stereo, then it shows the caller's name and number on the head unit. Maybe you need to do the same with the parrot?
search for jetware bluetooth.
a very interesting application that sends Caller ID(name) to your bluetooth device.
Works on tytn ii.
I have the Parrot 3200 and I get caller ID plus name announce when receiving a call.
I get name announced too on a CK3000 Evo.
But I'd like to know if someone managed to get the parrot to trigger the Kaiser's VoiceCommand (currently it just use the kit's internal voicetags memory)
Also, when I make outbound calls... my caller ID is hidden (no matter what settings is applied on the Kaiser)

Hello dears, I get a kaiser and now I'm looking for a BT headset, my problem is I can't find wich special feature (if any) need the BT headset have to choice one and buy it with confidense.
I want to mount it to a motorbike, and I want to be able to receive in the BT headset music + calls + gps voice indications. Investigating some time I found that this can be possible with a software like BTToggle or VoiceRoute or so, to route all the sound of the HTC to the BT headset.
I hope this is true, but now I can't found if we need look some special feature or especifications in the BT HEADSETS available here in the market, and I have not the opportunity of test one and others.
Can someone tell me wich compatibility need I look for in a BT HEADSET for the HTC TYTN II and the custom explained needs above ?
Thank you very much! greetings from Argentina!

i believe u need a bluetooth stereo headset for it to pass music/system sounds through (I bought a samsung h350 for 4.99 and found out it cant do that ). Microsoft Voice commander works nice, it announces texts, calls, reminders, etc.
The Jabra 8040 is both a phone and music/audio Blue Tooth. They aren't too expensive. I am unsure if it will interupt the music for voice navigation prompts. Someone running one would have to let you know. I do know it interupts music for calls.
hi, there is this program ( i cant remember the name), but it allows you to stream all sounds from your phone to your headset, regardless of what kind of bluetooth headset you have. does anyone know what program it is?
Has anyone got the bluetooth working properly? I have the 6.1 update on the headunit but can only use the handsfree when I dial out from the phone. Can't dial from the headunit or the contacts on the headunit. Incoming calls showup on the headunit but the audio doesn't come over the handsfree just on the phone

tried this--> http://www.jetwaremobile.com/bthfx/support.htm ?
I gave the Jetware a shot. Didn't make a difference. I downgraded to WM6.0 and it seemed to function better. I could dial from the head unit however there were still some strange bugs... made a call from the HU and it dial but the audio transfered to that handset. The HU works perfect with my Blackberry I'm not sure where the problems is.
I am having the same prob with mine.
I got mine to work with my headunit now by not loading the bloatware.
Bloatware
Forgive my ignorance but wat exactly is bloatware .... I'd love to get this working I am considering going back to the Blackberry.
Thanks in advance!!!
I've paired my fuze to my 09 prius, but when incoming calls come in, I'm unable to hear the caller (they can hear me). Outgoing calls work fine (I can here them, and they can hear me) - it's just when I answer the phone using the Prius bluetooth handsfree.
I've had this phone paired to a motorola T505, and jawbone without issue. I've also paired an iPhone to the Prius, and it works fine, so it seems to be a specific combination of incoming calls and the fuze. I did delete the pairing and re-paired, which didn't work.
Stock ROM installed, google didn't return anything useful. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

BT No sound on incoming calls
I hope that someone would anser this question!
I started having the same problem with my Bluetooth "Handsfree" Cardo-S800on my Fuze phone. When I call other people - everything works fine, but when I get an incoming call and answer from my BT or Phone - I cannot hear people but they hear me!.
If I use "Menu - Disable HandsFree then Enable HandsFree again" - I get the sound back!
It is definitely some setting in my phone that got "broken", becuase I had my car BT "Uconnect" working fine, but then it got th esame problem - no sound on incoming calls.
Anyone got a clue?
A hard reset solved the problem with my Fuze with the Toyota bluetooth in the Prius.

Hallo!
I have a BT headset without A2DP and I would like to hear the caller ID through the headset (as it generally happens with nokia mobiles).
Installing BTmono I was able to hear the driving instructions from Google navigator but it doesn't work for the caller announcement.
Can someone help please?
I really need it but till now no success!
Thank you.
Since the 4.2.2 upgrade my cars Bluetooth (Audi A6) has not been able to access the address book or missed calls log etc. It will pair and receive calls hands-free, but no caller ID or able to view address book through the car interface. I have deleted the pairing on both the car and phone and done a new pairing but with no success.
Anybody else have this problem and found a work around.
