Someone please help

I have recently installed Duttythroy 3g Comm Manger. After installing it did not work. It went to a black checkered screen with nothing on it. So I removed the program. Now when I select my Comm Manager icon it still pulls up this non working menu and I have no way to access my comm manager. Can someone please help?
Hard reset?
What ROM and radio are you using? Have you tried reinstalling a cab of your previous comm manager?
Did you make sure it wasn't running & then reset after installing???
use the advanced configuration tool (search for it in the Kaiser upgrading forum)

Quick Menu

does anybody have a cab file for quickmenu, besides the one thats on the wiki? the one there has an error message when you restart the phone or try to go into the quickmenu options.
actually the actually message that i get is "load qmenucfg.dll failed! please resetup this program and try again" anybody have a clue in how to fix this if nobody has a cab for this program.
This is a .cab that I made from the original files that you had to copy/paste and I have no problems...never really thought anyone would use it so I think my name is somewhere in the program name section of the installer (first try with wince cab manager). Install the cab, goto start > programs, click the qmenu icon and you should be ready to rock. I take absolutely no credit for the wonders of this little program lol, I just packed the files into a cab and chose the install locations.

QuickMenu 2.7 EN Version

That's wonderful! Thanks! QuickMenu is my favorite start menu replacement so far and having a .cab now makes it much easier to get it installed now.

[Q] [APP] Which Registry editor do i use?

I am a very new person to this type of stuff. I searched and cant find a definitive answer.
This is what i have, would like to change a few things around.
Rom version: 1.95.502.5
Rom date: 10/20/08
radio version: 1.02.25.32
I would like to install the gyrator (but needs the newer .Net compact framework). Doesnt this phone have the latest? If you would please help by step by step directions. I just got this phone and cant afford to brick it (yet at least).
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance
There are a number of programs you can use to edit the registry:
1) Total Commander (File Manager on WinMobile that has a registry plugin)
2) CeRegEditor (http://ceregeditor.mdsoft.pl/) edits the registry via Active Sync connection so you use your computer for this one
There are others but you can do a search and find one that suits your needs.
If Gyrator cannot find the required .Net framework, just install it. You can find in on this forum or directly from Microsoft.

sweet thanks for your help
I just got this phone too, and it's my first WM device. I installed a custom ROM (See my sig) that had TotalCommander preinstalled and it does the job nicely.
Hi Guys,
I use Registry Editor built in to Dotfred's Task Manager.
In fact the whole app is fantastic.
Cheers,

How to Change the Comm Manager to Default Style

Somehow I have put an altered Comm manager on my BA (as shown in the attatchment), i want to get rid of this 'skin' to the original htc one, the black/gray one, is there a cab or some way to uninstall this?
I think i put Iolite (xplodes) Comm Manager cab on it, how do i uninstall a cab?
if anyone can help will be really grateful, cheers!
Hi.
Did you try Advanced Configuration Tool ?
There's an setting to change the Comm Manager on ur phone!
how do i find this advanced config tool? is there a cab file?
i searched all 'settings' n could not find.
thx
Advanced Config > right button "Menu" > More settings > CommManager
thanks so much, I actually fixed this by installing a new comm manager cab file which was diamond skinned, and it now changed the theme, thank god! that theme did not suit my phone at all.
