Version 2.5.2859.37360
I (stupidly) downloaded the newest version when it asked me yesterday and now it says it cannot find most addresses I type in. This includes my home which the last version could find no problem. However when I tell it to go to an address in the contacts, such as my home address, it will find it just fine. Very annoying. Good job MS.
Anyone else seeing this?

I can not seem to find this issue elsewhere.
The skinny is when I open explorer nothing loads. It says connecting when you put in an address. Then nothing.
After I reset it works fine for a while. This is the same when my gps is trying to update every week.
What is weird is the Push function of my email continues to work fine. I am not sure what the issue is. Please point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
BJ
try making your homepage something that is on the net, not a local html file. (which is default) Then see what happens when you open PIE. Also have you changed where PIE stores the temp internet info?
if homepage isnt local then check your proxy settings
I have found several bugs in Kies but can't find any contact information as to where to send my reports. Anyone who knows?
Latest bug found:
When syncing Outlook contacts to the phone, the First Name and Surname swap places, so all contacts on the phone end up backwards. Google show that I'm not alone with this problem.
This issue is new to me. I know for a fact that I got a correct sync the first time I used it (approx 2 months ago), 'cause I remember that I've scrolled down to the letter 'E' to find "Emma Foobar" (where Emma is a first name).
I have upgraded the phone from Eclair 2.1-update1 to the latest Froyo 2.2, and Kies has been updated two or three times during this period. So either one, or a combination of both, must have introduced this bug.
It's Samsung, so /dev/null seems appropriate...

I sent a comment to the Swedish Samsung organization (via a web form).
I have no Idea if that did it, but yesterday, a new version of Kies was released and now contacts are synchronized correctly.
Only a minor bug is left:
The alphabet list to the right is still based on Sirnames even though the settings state that the display should order using First name. So even though I have contacts like "Emma Smith", I have a dash instead of an 'E' in the list.
Hi
I was looking for a way to change the MAC address temporarily when I came across this thread which shows it is possible, however I'm looking for a way for our phone to do that.I also found this app(Mac address ghost) on play store but not sure if it works I haven't tested it yet.
So any ideas how to do this?
I can't find the option to change it. I found in account.samsung.com an option "Places" but there isn't option to change it. Thanks
Simple:
On the same page where you see the 'Places' box, instead of selecting places, tap your name (the blue box) this is your personal information and it's where you can change your address.

Not sure if a solution that works has been found, but I have this same issue. It is causing me problems when I click competitions, etc from the Samsung members App, as the api is pulling in my old address.
I had several phone calls, on different Samsung departments and none of them have a clue on where this is coming from and how to change it. They always point me back to the account.samsung.com website, but other than Places there is nothing about address.
Issue seems common to every user. Looks like Samsung cleverly removed the ability to edit/update your own home address from their web site and the Members app and nobody's realised this.
I know this app has been discussed long ago but I can't find the reference, so I need to start another thread
I've installed this in the past because it really is so much easier than trying to search through the entire epub for something. But I was not able to download the version I wanted (was greyed out or something), couldn't find any old references, and so eventually deleted it. The version I am using is labeled 1288193153_Bible_2.4.1.apk
Now when I install it I get lots of server communication error messages and never any content. I also cannot see offline options. Always the server communication errors. Refresh does not help.
Does anyone know if this is dead for the NST/G now or am I just having a bad day?
Well, can you see the URL it's trying to reach? Does it still exist?
You can apktool it then grep for http.
