HTC Original Rom - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hey Guys,
I know this may sound really stupid, but I've just bought a new AT&T Tilt, and I was looking for the original HTC rom that I can flash on my phone.
I've tried searching the forum, but I couldnt find the original one.
Can someone help me out!
Thanks a bunch in advance!

i think this work~
http://rapidshare.com/files/5781641...dio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.11_Ship.rar.html

thank you soo much!

Another quick question, that link points to the RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.5_radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.11_Ship.rar rom,
my Tilt came pre loaded with the following ROM
ROM Version: 1.57.502.2
ROM Date: 08/25/07
Radio Version: 1.27.12.11
Protocol Version: 22.45.88.07H
Is it okay to flash my phone with the HTC ROM? Or would that be downgrading it? Also, i read somewhere about a bluetooth audio problem with the ROM, is that something to worry about or fix later, after I flash my phone?
Sorry for being a pain in the butt, but i just wanna make sure i do this right the first time.
Thanks!

I am watching the thread on the new Test ROM for the Trinity, and am very tempted to use it ... however, if I want to revert back to the original ROM it doesn't appear that I can do so. I say this as the "Ship" ROM on the FTP server is not my current ROM. I have the following:
ROM Version: 1.17.707.4
ROM Date: 12/05/06
Radio Version: 1.24.00.11
Protocol Version: 32.57.7020.06H
As the version on the FTP doesn't match this, I am hesitant to update to the Test ROM. Anyone have this version so I can revert?

I just wanted to tell you that I upgraded last night after weeks of pushing and pulling about it in my head. I've got to say that I have no regrets so far! The GPS works great! I have both P3300 and Trinity and I actually got a faster fix with my Trinity a couple of times! And the sensitivity of the Trinity is more than sufficient for all but the most hardcore GPS users!
Sorry I don't have your Rom - but be assured that you probably won't want to revert anyway! I would have waited for the official HTC update, but who knows when that is coming - could be tomorrow, could be months from now. I just got sick of sitting on my hands and waiting - $40 USD to SuperCID, but the pain of purchase went away with my first GPS fix!!!
so when you update a ROM do you loose everything on your device (eg. phone numbers, appointments etc)?
sorry for the newbie qn but havent seen the answer anywhere...

For sure... It is the same thing as re-installing Windows on your PC.
You should make a backup of your personal data (contact, agenda, files...) somewhere to retrieve it later (use Outlook for example).

Need Support

How are you doing? Hope you are fine and doing well..
I bought a new Tytn 2 from 1 week almost and it come with this Rom and Radio information:
Rom Version: 1.81.452.0 WWE
Rom Date: 10/30/2007
Radio Version: 1.27.15.32
Protocol Version: 22.51.88.13H
and The Support person in HTC Egypt told me that they removed the GPS
hardware ship from the phone, so can any one tell if this is true or not???
and if this is wrong can any one tell me how to test the GPS ???
Have you tried GPS Test? You can download it from here
Thanks for your concerning
I tried it but didn't bring any result, scanning all com port for 5 mins with no result
I found this thread, but it doesn't look too good
It seems as though GPS is illegal in Egypt, and people are struggling to enable it again...
do you think that they disconnected from the hardware or just from the firmware ?
and how can I enable it again ??
To be honest, I've no idea. The best thing to do would be to read through the thread I've suggested to see what other people have said. I'm not sure if anybody has managed to enable GPS on an Egyptian TyTN II, but I'd recomend asking the guys on the other thread.
Sorry I can't be of much help
Correct me, if i am talking ****, but as i know, the GPS is built-in into the CPU so it might just be deactivated, not removed.
Did you try to flash another ROM and another Radio-Rom?
Maybe this solves it... not sure... but i'd give it a try.
I want to download the original rom first before installing any other roms... and i'll do it once i found the original rom.
Here is a good guide for reverting back to original ROM.
Edit: Sorry about that, try now...
The link is not working

Can you please tell us if this is the AT&T rom or real HTC... and even better a download link!
because i had to log on I doubt a link will work (Then I wouldn't have to make anyone wait for me to upload) it seems to be real HTC because u can get it it off of the US (which is 404 for the moment) or Europe FTP and is availiable in WWE or ARA (no clue what that is - arabic?)
Below is the link
http://member.htc.com/member/DownloadAddressforRuu.aspx?dl_id=390&type=Updates&lan=
Version info of the new update is identified as follows:
ROM Version 1.106.405.1 WWE
ROM Date 05/10/07
Radio Version 2.90.90
Protocol Version 4.1.13.42
ExtROM Version 1.06.405.101
These numbers do not make sense to me.
Somebody confirm that this is a new/old ROM please.
here is the numbers on the file
RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.5_radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.32R2_Ship
so the radio seems old thus far
all signs suggest WM6.0
uploading now
EDIT Can be found here, appears to be an old one though.

It's a real AT&T ROM. I flashed it with no problems. It seems more stable, but that might be because it washed out my "experiments." There is also a new version 4.0.0.97 Blackberry Connect. You have to access that with the stub. I'll try to upload the cab later. My employer's firewall seems to be blocking my attempts to upload it now.
does this new rom have better video performance?
So is not a new rom afterall for the generic Kaiser?
Cheers,
Gilbert

No, its a bit more stable and has better bluetooth performance, which i can confirm. There are a few threads about it already in the "Upgrading" section.
I tried to do a search but could not find the solution for not able to sync after rom update. Can connect via usb but won't sync. I know I did see a fix here somewhere but can find it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Need help deciphering rom info and such

So, about a month ago, I got my first cell phone - a moto q global (att). Then, this tuesday, I traded it in for the tilt.
I am very happy with this phone - I love the touch screen, the wifi, the developer base, and all the other nice features (combined with the unlimited data, of course )
Today, I borrowed my dad's laptop (my computer runs gentoo), and hard-spl'd (using the alternative "screen went white" directions) the phone, and flashed the HTC rom from here.
Device information sez:
ROM version: 3.28.405.0 WWE
ROM date: 05/02/08
Radio version: 1.65.16.25
Protocol version: 25.83.40.02H
First of all, did I pick the right rom? Is there a more up-to-date rom? Can someone explain the advantages of dutty's rom?
And I'm hearing a lot about this "radio"... this is the rom for the cellular radio itself? What version should I be using? How do I change versions? From where do I get these radio roms?
Finally, is there an easy way to sim-unlock my phone for free? Not necessary, but would be nice for later.
Thanks for any advice/tips,
poly-p man
Hi Welcome.
Let me nicely answer your questions. But You should read the Forum Rules. Mostly the answer is out there, just need to search for it.
1) I do not allow people to say what ROM is the best. Not because we are fascists, but because it is subjective. Also, "newest" is also subjective. Look around in the ROM Dev forum and find one that looks good and try them out.
2) You Radio is the "ROM" for the Cellular Part. There is an Ultimate Radio thread out there. Check it out.
3) There is a Kaiser Unlocker out there. They are free to use, but consider Donating to the developers.
4) Check out the Links in my Signature they will give you LOTS of answers.

Radio reception x1 - upgrade?

Hi guys
I have recently got the X1 and I really like it, but the reception at my home in Auckland, NZ, is terrible compared with my previous SE P1i. It is dropping out while sitting still.
Is it possible to upgrade the radio firmware or something? Can you link me to instructions or the right one for me to use??
I am no expert in this, and I did look on the forums without success.
I am using:
ROM: 1.05.949.13
Date: 04/23/09
Radio Version: 1.14.25.55
Protocol: 52.65.25.34w
Extpkg Ver: 1.0.11889.15276
Software version: r3aa013 Generic_Aus pa10
Thanks!!

All the chat is here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=477801), here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532249) and here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4221169). The search tool is a wonderful thing.
Hi,
Thanks, it would appear that a later version is New Xperia Radio 1.16.25.48.
I am willing to try and install this, but I would really appreciate it if someone could offer some clear guidance on this.
I installed Kovsimg already to upgrade the phone previously, but that is the extent of my knowledge.
This thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532249 seems to have the right links for the download. But when I started it, all indications were that my whole ROM would be flashed, and that does not seem right???
Any help would be awesome guys...
Hi again
I found this faq here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-508038.html.
It is brilliant and answered most questions. I just went ahead and let the upgrade go and it just updated my phone radio, and this has improved the signal strength showing straight away.
Cheers.
