BT volume tweak? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

I am using a BT Motorola Pure H12 and it seems like the volume just not loud at all with my tilt! anyone else have this problems, and is there any hope?

There are quite a few of these 'My world is coming to an End!' threads.
Please check the search tab for BT, I am sure you will find something..
Hope this helps.. (my mantra is working really well....)
Also if you have not noticed there is a 'Tilt' thread (called a sticky cause it sticks at the top of the forum list!) that is to deal with 'Tilt' questions.

thanks for info

Really annoyed:

I purchased the motorola HS850 a couple of days ago, seems pretty good paired up sraight away.
Problems are as follows.
The BT headset can't be used as a microphone for recording your voice, and/or giving commands to Voice Command software!!! Also i cant work out what pressing the button once quickly when not on the phone does. On normal mobiles you can announce a voice tag and it will dial the number. On the PPC (XDAIIs) it changes the icon of just headphones next to the start menu to headphones with audio coming out. Any ideas what this does? seems to create a connection to the decice, but still does not pick up audio from the BT mic!! One last thing is, on normal mobiles the HS picks up button presses etc, throught the BT speaker. No it doesn't even do that with PPC WM2003SE!!!
So in short the unit is pretty useless apart from answering calls by tapping the button on the headset. Kind of defeats the idea of a Btooth headset. Surely you would want to dial out using its built in mic? Am i just been stupid here, or should any of the above work?
Any workarounds or software that will work with BT Headsets? If not does anyone want to buy this from me for a fair price??? I mean what is the point? Can people tell me there postive uses please, or explain what im doing wrong!!! Surely if a crappy £50 mobile can utilize the features a £250 ppc should be able to, i mean come on!!
Anyone? I'm sure someone out there knows a little more about this than me? Im after some info!!!
I guess the answer is to buy the one designed for the device from O2?
As far as i know from the research i have done, it doesn't matter what h/set you have got!!
Matt
You are unfortunately right that ypu cannot control Microsoft Voice or therefore autodial with ANY headset at present. This is apparently due to the Widcomm Stack implementation (They haven't coded that part yet!).
Most users will also have difficulty with (System) sounds from the IIs presented on the headset. I believe that the new High Quality Stereo Stack has now been implemented but works with only a few headsets.
Where can the new stack be found from? or is it the 3900 stack?
I was led to believe it is in the 3900 stack but there was a CAB file floating around a while back for it (Never tried it myself so can't be of much more help I'm afraid!)
Thanks bebbo, anyone got further information on this problem at all?> I would like to get to the bottom of it, as their are hundreds of these kinda posts around all with no definative answer....Come on lets solve this and put an end to peoples suffering..... (MINE TOO!! )
Anyway, please post any information you know!!
At this time there are NO headsets that provide this function that I am aware of. If you highlight a contact, you can push and hold the headset button until it beeps and it will dial that contact.I was considering switching to the Nokia 9500, but it does not have that function either.
Maybe in the future, but not right now........Later

Bluetooth Earpiece

I just purchased a bluetooth earpiece for my IIi in the hopes that I could stream music through it. APPARENTLY, the BT device only suppors the handsfree profile, which means all it's good for is to relay PHONE CALLS. I don't use the phone that often so it seems that I wasted my money. Anyone know a solution to get the phone to reroute music to the BT device if it's possible?
many possible solutions to your problem
There are many possible solutions to your problem and many software. Go to the following blog by Menneisyys (the expert!!) and look for a blog that tells you everything about redirecting audio to headsets.

You rock! I will definitely check that site out, thanks a bunch!
EDIT: Argh, I am an idiot. I tried a crapload of tweaks to get it to play on my earpiece when all it took...get this, was a push of the function button on the earpiece. The icon on screen immediately changed, and now I'm listening to Jingle Bell Rock at pretty decent quality on my headset. Thanks anyways peeps!
Great to be of help.. Merry Christmas... Now, don't you want listen to Jingle Bell Rock in Stereo instead of mono? It's also working fine now, just that you will have to find the correct hack for your phone.. It took me 6 months to get mine..
Guys, same problem here
can somebody show the link again please
Unable to find it on previously posted link

come on guys, use the search function... we are losing senior members because of this repeated questions...

a2dp/Bluetooth stereo issues

First post so go easy guys. I was able to flash a ROM and a few other things with no questions using search and just doing the leg work. I am sure the answer to my question is right under my nose but I haven't been able to word it correctly or something.
I have a Tilt using Dutty's 5.2.19716ROM (4/29/08). I am also using radio 1.65.14.06. I never changed it because everything was working rather well and didn't see the point.
Here is my problem. I have a motorola S9. In it's profile it is showing both wireless stereo and hands free. Ok now sound is actually very good and range is nice but it is not in stereo. I can maybe hear just a twinge of music in one ear but I am not sure, the other sounds like a champ. I can hear and answer incoming calls but no one can hear me on the other end. Lastly I can answer calls and use the volume keys on the headset but not any of the media player controls work, (next track, previous track, play/pause). Also skipping or lag is there but not that bad at all.
I tried the setting suggestion in the registry that was supposed to be set to "0" to turn on stereo but it was already at "0". (sorry forgot the path).
Thanks so much for any help in the right direction.
I am thinking about changing the radio. Also I am going to test the headset to make sure it isn't the problem. I have seen that most people haven't noticed any difference by changing the ROM. Anyone think it could be a radio issue?
I feel stupid as I tried to test the headset right away but didn't have a phone that was A2DP capable handy. I got my old phone a Sony w580i and set it up with the headset and it had the exact same problem. I am assuming that it must be a faulty headset? This reminds me of real life. I am talking to myself and answering my own questions.
thats the way to go... step by step troubleshooting...

[Q] Use normal headphones during a call??

Hello,
I really would like to use my "normal" headphones for making calls together with the internal mic. Everytime when I am listen to music and someone is calling me, I've to unplug the headphones...:-( Another example is: I've connected my samsung to my car via "aux-in" to listen to music over my loadspeaker in my car.
That would something like a hands-free system
So... I think/hope this is just a software problem and somebody here is able to manage this??
Thanks in advance!
kedek
I cant see anything about android development... We have a section for questions and answers! Please use the right sections!
if you want...
but I think we need developers to get this working...!?
there's already a thread about this. with an alternative hardware fix.

The guidelines for the proper location to post new threads is clearly outlined in the "STOP!! Before You Post, Read This NOW!!" thread at the top of the forum section:
Post What Where:
General - general technical discussion items, news, anything else that does not fit into the other fora categories.
Q&A (Questions and Answers) - all questions, irrespective of type, get posted in here whether they be theme related, accessory related, technical, etc.
Accessories - any items to do with components and/or accessories relating to your device.
Rom Development - only meant for very advanced technical discussion directly related to ROM development activity and the delivery of actual ROMs and ROM components ONLY. Nothing else goes in here.
Themes & Apps - anything to do directly with the development of themes and/or applications. Nothing else goes in here.

a fix that surely won't fix the problem with car Aux in, as the gain of the earphone mic is poor.
I think that doing a sw fix for the problem(listening through earphones, talking to the regular mic) will be appreciated by lots of people.
Sorry for posting in a wrong section...

But anyway... this hardware fix will not fix the problem in my car.
And I think a lot of other users wants to get this working? And thats the point why we need developers...
I think theoretically this should be possible..

Which hardware fix are you talking about ? Using an adapter like Nokia AD-54 works with any 3.5mm headphone or audio out (including auxiliary line of a card audio system).
Other option is to use an A2DP BT car kit or a BT clip (like this).
Ok thanks... if this is the only solution, I will try it
But I also would like to have a software solution ...someday

[Q] Need a help with something very strange

Hi All,
I do apologize if I made a topic in wrong place. Moderators, please transfer it to the right one if so.
Here is the usual problem that I'm having with my HTC ONE M7 Verizon and BMW X6M 2013. After each call, when I have finished conversation and clicked on the hang up. Its makes a huge NOISE to indicate that call is being finished. I have BMW Explorer that I went thru BMW CPU settings to check if its somehow BMW related problem. Sounds aka Noise is like Big "DONG" sound, and its 10 times louder then actual voice on the phone. I have checked with other model of BMW, that sound still exist, still the same, but MUCH MUCH lower volume, you barely can hear it at all. Some version of BMW it doesn't exist at all. All models were tested 2013+. Different phones like Iphones, works just fine. So I'm looking for an option in the phone itself to turn it off. Its not locked to Verizon its developer unlocked, and its not rooted (which could be done). Please help out, so desperate to get rid of this sound.
The sound you are hearing is coming from your car, not the phone. If its really bothering you, stop by your local BMW dealer and see if they can do anything to help. There are no settings on the phone for this.

Well I tried they have looked at me like I'm asking for a new Ferrari
Then you might want to post on some of the BMW forums or find a service tech that actually knows how to configure the more advanced functions of your bluetooth connection (not just how to pair with a phone...).
