The whole flash process using RUU should be less than 10 minutes.
Now flash with your original T-Mobile ROM(Flash in 3 color mode) and your Wizard should work again, then restart the steps in tutorial.
If flashing still stops when you trys to flash T-Mobile ROM, perform flashing with another computer.

from wher i can gut the Now flash with the original T-Mobile ROM(Flash in 3 color mode) ?

How I Resuscitated My Mda Vario....

Well I am a newbie and having a lot of fun upgrading until tonight.... I unlocked the mda vario and upgraded first with official t-mobile version then with the aku 3.3. My mda is a g4 and not cid unlocked, but I managed to load the aku 3.3 with the shelltool.... After I did everything the phone was a total brick... Could connect to pc, couldn't turn. The main page was coming up and giving the version of the mobile but wouldn't do anything else. So I tried pressing the call button and the wireless button and quickly pressed the reboot little button on the side. The screen became green and red, with something else written. When I did that and I tried to upload the software off t-mobile from http://www.tm-phonedownloads.com/download_manager_mda_vario.html, the software sort of recognized, than it asked to disconnect and take out battery. After I had to put back in and the usual start screen was coming up, but as the t-mobile software was asking if the red and green screen was up I repressed the call and wireless button and said yes. After that the phone was upgraded to the firmware off t-mobile and now is working fine again. It was scary though, so think twice before upgrading....
if you follow the instructions properly in the shelltool thread.

RUU Fails since i upgraded to a WM6 ROM?

Hi everyone,
First and foremost, let me introduce myself, I am known as wizzkidd (a name that often is used against me at times like these). Aged 27 from London, UK. I'm a typical mod-freak, modding anything and everything possible from PSP's to Wii's to Cable TV etc etc.
Anyway, I've got a SPV M700 (aka HTC P3600) branded on Orange UK running Windows Mobile 5, and everthing works fine. I found this wonderful site when I was researching into the amazing additions and power of Windows Mobile 6.
To my amazement, I soon realised it would be possible to upgrade to WM6, so off I went reading through the forum....
To start with I realised I needed to perform a CID Unlock (and whilst at it, I done the SIM Unlock too) before I could proceed. I done this perfectly fine.
I then found the first ROM that looked impressive as it was based on WM6 and had a bundle of goodies baked within it. (im learning the terminology too, hehe), it was a PDAViet ROM (latest to date)... I followed the instructions and hey presto, my phone was a fancy WM6 version with loads of impressive goodies installed.
After search for more stuff here, I found loads of interesting stuff. But firstly I decided to install the Hard-SPL into my phone for my own protection when doing future ROM flashes.
What caught my eye was the Touch Flo stuff, so I wanted it. Searching through the threads and the progress in development, I soon found a Wizard ROM that includes Touch Flo, and based on user suggestions and feedback, I decided to go for NBD v7.4.
My problem:
- (currently running PDAViet ROM: 02.07.06.PV and have Hard-SPL integrated)
- I double click on the "ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe"
- I tick the "I understand...." and the "I Completed the steps..." boxes
- (the USB cable is connected and ActiveSync 4.5 detects the connection fine)
"Verifying the information on your PDS Phone..." displays for about 4 seconds...
The RUU displays the current information about my phones image, and has a "Update" button to click to update the current ROM version, so I click it...
The RUU displays some verify checks such as
FROM
model ID: ""
image version: "02.07.06.PV"
Language: ""
TO
model ID: "Wizard"
Image Version: ""
Language: "WWE"
I click next twice... the phone boots into the Hard bootloader (SPL-1.20.Olipro) and the USB connection disconects and then reconnects at this point (i can tell this by the audio sounds), the RUU displays the progress bar at 0% and nothing happens, the screen on the M700 stays on the bootloader screen, and the RUU stays on 0% - this lasts for about 15 seconds, then the RUU says "ERROR [264]: CONNECTION, and gives me the option of clicking the "Recovery" button, doing so, and following the instructions, leads to a final message saying: "Error recovery has been successful and the update process is ready to resume. Exit recovery and run the RUU again."... I try running the RUU again, and im back to sqyare one again!
I've even tried using the Soft-SSL (by Des), but the progess bar stays at 0% and the bootloader stays on the screen.
What could be wrong?
PS Thanks for reading and thanks for your patience if you've got this far. lol
Don't flash a wizard rom onto a trinity rom. Only flash trinity roms. That's like trying to flash moto razr firmware on it. Not meant to insult, just telling. I hope your device isn't bricked.
what you're doing wrong is flashing a Wizard Rom on your phone. There's a reason that the forum is divided in to different sections for different phones.
Think of it this way.. would you put a Wii mod on your PSP? you're lucky that the RUU has saved you from carrying around an expensive brick.. read a little more.. flash a little less..
Ohh I see, I didnt realise 'Wizard' was a different model name, I assumed it was a Wizard in the sense of an 'Easy Install For All...' type ROM, (ie If you was to use a wizard when creating a chart in an excel spreadsheet, catch my drift).
My bad for mis inturpreting what a 'Wizard ROM' was. Ooops. Well, my device still operates pefectly fine anyway.
Do you know anywhere I can get a stable version of Touch Flo for my device? Preferably cooked in a ROM, because I used a alpha version of the Touch Flo .cab file, and I had nothing but problems.
Thanks
there are no trinity ROM's to my knowledge with touch flo built in... should be coming soon now that official Dopod WM6 ROM is out... keep an eye on the trinity mobile 6 forum (and not on the Wizard forum haha)
lol. OK.
I noticed you're using the same ROM as me at the moment. Have you tried installing the Touch Flo (Alpha) cab file and managed to get it working by anychance? (eg. No black screen)
didn't work for me. I couldn't really be bothered to mess with it too much as people have such varied results. Someone will cook it in to a ROM before long. Look out for mun's Indigo ROM.. he said he'd put it in.

XDA Mobile 6 r2a and froze as 99%

Well my wizard froze at 99% and after a while the computer came back with a connection failure error. So now my phones stuck at the 3 color boot screen anything I can do?
flash it back to official rom or use Wizard Love rom
I can still flash it with roms as I just retired the ROM and it froze at 99% again any ideas what would be causing it? it's a G4
That app says MSVCR71.dll was not found.
Got it to work SPL Version is 2.25.00000, my last Wizard worked just fine with the upgrade
Did you follow the instructions for flashing a G4? Doesn't sound like it to me.
i had the same problem
maybe you didnt follow the directions (you should make shur you made your BOTH IPL/SPL had became version 1 before upgrading them to version 3.08) , that would need the first flashing to happen twice as described in tutorial and in my case, flashing twice the first time didn't made them both version 1, ( maybe the wizard love ROM won't need flashing twice, search for it in the forum)
any way refollow the directions again from the beginenig to solve the problem, again and again untill it is ok
if desperate, go and download an original flash upgrade from your mobile maker, untill you are ready for a next round
i assume you have cid-unlocked your device....if not, you are dead
(just kidding, upgrade to official upgrade if so, but read the directions next time)

Nothing happens after the upgrade...(?)..

Hi guys,.. i have been trying to upgrade my P3600 over 2-3 weeks now but i reach the same problem always, and that is simply.... I have managed the RADIO Rom to 1.41.00.111, but when i try to update the operating system.. with... Lvsw 2.0.1.1 / Mary 2.0 / PDAVIET 3.00.07.09 ... everything goes far with the updating.. i can see the progress bar, it reaches 100%, the screen on my mobile goes black... and it says on my computer to follow the info on my mobile and close the update application.
Now at this time my mobile is totally black (shut off i guess)... i have waited for more than 5 minutes but since nothing happens, i have restarted the mobile with a soft rest... but after the rest i still have my OLD operating system....
What am i doing wrong?.... I have read through bunch of threads on the forum, but haven't seen anyone else whom have had this problem.. or is it simply that i should wait even longer time and the mobile should start up by itself?....
Appreciate any help & suggestion...
can anyone help me?...
I've tried to update my HTC3600, by using the "WM6 Official - Any Device" from http://trinityguide.info, and it just doesn't work... I have updated Hard-SPL, and then tried to apply "Official Dopod ROM" ... the only thing it did was to revert my Radio-ROM back to 1.46.xxx (from 1.50.xxx i had before)...
But the OS was never updated to WM6... I have tried a bunch of different WM6 ROMs now during the weekend, nothing has helped... even tried some application to unlock CID (what is it actually ???).
The only thing I've managed is to update my own OS using the official swedish ROM (I've bought my HTC in sweden). And i've been able to update my Radio ROM to 1.46.xxx, 1.50.xxx.. as well as installing different HARD-SPL.
But i've so far not been able to install ANY WM6, or WM5 cooked ROM's .. so pleaaaaaaase help my guides... I'm starting to go nuts over this...
Appreciate any advise & help.. thanks in advance !

ATT Tilt 6.1 to 6.5 issues

I have been trying to upgrade to 6.5 for last five hours now but every single flash I tried it always go up to the 0% screen and fails. Does anyone know how can I fix this?
I just did mine this morning
I quickly found you have to unlock the phone 1st. I found software on here called "kaiser-HardSPLv1". I flashed my Tilt with that first, which I guess unlocked it and then flashed the 6.5 update.
It worked perfectly. I sure hope you have the same results.

Click to collapse
Try reading the "flashing your first ROM" thread first. Then read it again. Then read it again.
You have to unlock the phone first, change SPLs, then you can flash a new ROM. If going to 6.5, make sure you flash a stock HTC ROM first (go to their website to download).
There's several threads and Wikis that explain everything. Half the threads on the board wouldn't be here if people would read!
kaiser SPL does it
I had some similar issues related to connectivity. kaiser-HardSPLv1 is def the way to go and reading all the instructions thoroughly is very much required; especially the one where it asks if you're phone is connected.
I did my recent flashing via Windows 7 RC 1, which I thought would be an issue. I had to reboot my computer after each flash step to regain connectivity. Using Windows Mobile Center, I simply waited for the check mark, or you can open "My Computer" and find your device there. Worked great! Love it!!
Another alternative step is to sync it up with a fresh copy of Win XP, on a spare laptop, if you have one.
