Hi
I want to migrate sms and contacts from my nokia 6630 to tytn ii. I synced the contacts using the microsoft outlook express bu the problem is in my nokia i had some contacts with 5-6 numbers but all didnt get updated to tytn ii. Only 2 numbers went into it. How can i correct it? And is there any way so i can migrate sms from my older niokia to tytn ii.
Another question, is there some wallet like functionality for tytn ii ? where i can store some private information?
Thanks and Regards
Tushar

take a look at Jeyo range of products for transferring the SMS and contacts from the Nokia devices to Outlook (don't use Outlook Express!). Then you can sync with ActiveSync to the Windows Mobile device.
As for Wallet - there are various products on the market, try Spb Wallet it has a free trial available - with no limits (I think it's 15 day free trial, but it definiately has 30 day money back guarantee if you buy it and don't like it). Nothing to lose!

Hi Guys,
I've just got my Vario 3 and i would like to export my contacts from my Nokia N95. Can someone tell me if there is a tool either free or paid? My aim is to have AS less pain in transferring between the two.
Thanks.
Install Nokia's PC Suite
Synchronize your N95 contacts with Outlook
Connect your Kaiser with ActiveSync
Synchronize your new Outlook contacts with your Kaiser
Done!
I did it a few days ago. Very simple and easiest way to transfer contacts.
Even easier is to bluetooth the lot over from N95 . That way you get the pictures to
Ok, so I'm switching back to Symbian and my Nokia E61i. I would love to keep the TyTN II, but the device was just not the right choice for me.
All my contacts, e-mails, calendar/todo's etc. are stored on my Exchange server, so that's a no-brainer - however, I would llike to copy my SMS inbox over to my Symbian device. I've been doing some searching but I cannot seem to find a solution for this.
So basically what I'm looking for is an app that will let me copy the whole SMS inbox and move it over so that I can import it on my E61i.
Thanks!
Make backup to your Outlook using trial version of Jeyo Mobile Extender - http://www.jeyo.com/companion.asp.
I don`t know how to transfer SMS directly to Symbian phone...
Thanks RStein, that worked. So now I have the complete inbox in Outlook, but I suppose I need to export them as .vmg or something like that in order to transfer them to my Symbian device... Any ideas? Thanks!
I think You have now Symbian specific question - try some Symbian forum for probably better answers to Your question.
You can always copy SMS to your SIM using Kaiser.
How many SMS will the Kaiser allow me to mover over to the SIM?
It depends on SIM capacity - my SIM has only 10 slots for SMS messages...

http://syncwiz.4team.biz/
you can convert to right format to sync with outlook .
I did it without any problems

Your N' Series Nokia should sync with Outlook without the need for any 3rd party programs. When you use the Nokia PC Suite it should automatically sync your contacts to outlook.
Then when you first plug your Diamond into the PC it will sync them to it.

Yep i ws going to say the same...my contacts were on my nokia n95 8gb and i synched it using outlook. Once i got my Diamond...all i did was connect the phone to my laptop and it synched with outlook.
Thanks all for the info..
Dude easy as hell just bluetooth all your contacts to the diamon, the diamond recognizes that they are contacts and stores them perfectly, i did this today, migrating form a nokia 7710.
Hope it helps
PS: Select all contacts then bluetooth them over not one by one should take you 2 minutes.
Cheers!
I'm finding that some (not all) of the Hotmail messages I read on my TyTN II have some letters replaced by '=' signs. Here is a snippet from Pocket Outlook on my TyTN II of an email I sent earlier from Outlook Express so you get the idea: I've attached 7 photos of relevant bits zipped =p so I trust you are able to extract them for viewing but if not (or if =nything is still unclear - apart from the photos, they're only taken on my phone), =et me know and I'll resend them unzipped (about 3 MB unzipped). I'm =articularly keen to know....
I'm using the latest version of Office Mobile Outlook that I can get my hands on and Microsofts Office Mobile 6.1 update refuses to install claiming I already have a newer version. Perhaps there is a newer version that fixes this problem that is available some other way? I have no need for threaded SMS or anything like that, I just want the existing email features to work properly. I've not figured out what the common thing is that causes this behaviour but if I view the same message in Outlook Express 6 or even on Hotmails website (the email acct I use on my TyTN II is a Hotmail one), it displays correctly every time with letters where they should be and no = signs. This leads me to believe it's some issue with my TyTN II which is about as standard as they come as per my sig. The problem has been present intermittantly since new (with this ROM at least, I don't recall how the WM 6.1 ROM performed in this regard) and a hard reset makes no difference.
I've not found anything through a search here and I'm thinking it's an issue with the Mobile version of Outlook on my TyTN II. Additionally I find that emails I send on the TyTN II often miss out 'subject' or 'to' information when later viewed in Outlook Expresses preview, therefore often showing only on the bottom of my emails list. It's only when I click on them that further details appear and they go to the right place on the list (sorted by date).
Is anyone able to throw some light on a cure please?
Hey guys, I have nokia E72 and i want to move my contacts from TyTN II to my Nokia E72. I don't have any idea how to do it. Please help me out
Usually I use email client (Outlook express,Microsoft outlook etc) to do it.
Firstly I synchronize contact detail from Tytn to Outlook Express or Microsoft outlook and then re-synchronize contact to E72 using Nokia PC Suite from Outlook express or microsoft outlook. CMIIW.
I hope you can understand what I mean due to my bad english grammar....
I got it thanks a lot

Nice to help you....
Sry for my question.
I dont have Nokia PCSuite installed and I wouldnt install it. Can I without installing PCSuite syncronizes my Nokia Contacs with my TyTN II?
In case no one knows of a freeware app to mass send all contacts (via bluetooth or something that bypasses the need for Nokia software), you could always just turn on bluetooth on phones, probably best to pair them. Then open up your contacts on the TyTn II, and send each contact individually by bluetooth (it may be listed as "beam", think it depends on ROM version(?)) to your nokia. Do make sure that extra fields are received and mapped correctly - eg work fax number goes to the correct category, addresses, birthdays, e-mails etc., BEFORE you stop taking your TyTn II around with you.

Previously i use vCard manager to backup all contact from Nokia and it will result single file (vCard) ready to backup/copying to another symbian phone. But unfortunately that i didn't know winmo application to read vCard file perfectly in HTC.
I think it will be difficult without pc suite to backup/copying contact to another phone OS.
