Is it possible to have the Tilt on Vibrate mode and still have the stereo Bluetooth audio active? If I'm listening to my headphones, surely that means that I'm in a place where I don't want to have the phone ringing or alerts sounding off on the phone....
I'd like to have the phone in vibrate mode and all audio piped to my Jabra BT8010. However, when I move the volume sliders down and set it to "Vibrate", I lose headphone audio. Am I missing something?

Since all audio is now in your ear, you don't really need vibrate as you will hear the ring in your headset as well as any other audio..... There may be a reg tweak to get vibe and ring but I don't really see the point.

The issue is that my phone still rings (loudly). If I'm using the headset, I don't want my phone to ring. If I turn my phone to vibrate, I can't hear any BT audio (ie. no music in the stereo headphones).
What I want is to have my phone silent and still play music broadcast via BT to the Jabra BT8010.

I see, I didn't notice this. When I've been using the vibe toggle button while in meetings, I can use the BT headset and hear rings in it and get voicemails etc. I just didn't try to listen to any other stored content, hmmm.

If you go to phone settings, your able to send incoming calls to vibrate, thus allowing other sounds to work as well.
Settings -> Personal -> Phone -> Ringtype -> Vibrate

when the USB headset is connected, I can't hear the notifications for pure radio related alarms like incoming emails/SMS, etc. anymore on the phone's speaker. only via the headset. as nobody wears the headset all the time, this is pretty nonsense. any nokia device is able to differ between sounds of the device (like music playback) and sound of the radio (email ringing, sms), that I want to hear, even if the headset is connected. with bluetooth headset, this works perfectly well. any tweaks there?
Try resetting (restarting).

Does this mean, it works differently on your Kaiser? Thought this is a general behaviour with all Kaiser devices that you can't change with just resetting?
Whenever I turn my Cardo S-2 a2dp stereo bluetooth headphones on, the headset bluetooth profile kicks in, and calls immediately go to the headphones.
Can this be done with the bluetooth stereo headphones profile for listening to music as well? Currently, I have to click on BatteryStatus's bluetooth icon in the systray, click on a2dp, wait for the profile to kick in, and turn the volume from vibrate to full. It's a pain in the ass every time I want to listen to music.
Ideally, if it's not built into the OS, there should be a little systray app that would poll to see if any headphones are within range, then automatically enable a2dp and set the volume for you. When they disconnect, it would go back to your previous volume setting, not just 0 volume like it does now.
I don't know about the Cardo's but when I hook up my Motorola S9 my music is automatcally hooked up as well. When you sinked your Cardo with your phone through the Bluetooth conection settings did you set them up as handsfree and Stereo, or just Handsfree?

Yes, it was set up as stereo (as well as handsfree), but music does not automatically play in the headphones when they are turned on. I have to start a2dp and take it off vibrate in order to play music.
Same problem here. I solved it by installing A2DPToggle, and making a shortcut to turn the music on the headset in the system tray through Traylaunch
I also use A2DPToggle and use the plugin that stays on the Today screen to control when I use it.
But just like this thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351697 ) you can find all sorts of different options.

Hi everybody.
I searched but did not found answer to issue I having.
If I turned on BT my bt headset (A2DP) works fine, but on incoming call there is no ring sound on telephone speaker. When I checked phone i could see that is muted. My wild guess is that phone sends everything to headset because it is in A2DP mode and send every sound through BT.
How to fix this?
Headset?
Is your Bluetooth headset designed to handle calls as well as music? If not, that will be your problem. When I'm listening to music via BT headset, the phone rings through the headset, not the device speaker

What I want is to hear ring signal through device speakers as well as I don't have all time earpieces in my ears and I can miss a call
Whenever I'm connected to my Blueant headset, the call still rings on the phone, not the earpiece. After one or two rings, a funky kinda ring does sound on my headset, but this is not my preferred setup. On my other phones, the correct ring automagically was transferred to the headset and the phone stayed silent. Is there a setting somewhere that can fix this? Most obliged....
Hi,
I have a Blue-tooth hands-free set in my car.
Often I need to walk away from my car during a phone call.
It also happens that I am outside the car, a few yards/meters away from it when I make or get a call. when this happens the audio goes to the BT headset, but I can't hear it or be heard because I'm not near it.
So how can I make an ongoing call move from the BT headset back to my phone?
It has to be done from the phone only. No pressing buttons on the headset itself etc. (as I explained, I might be far from the headset and the car may be locked, etc.)
ThanX in advance!
