how to use HTC audio manager in HTC home?

in the htc home, there is a music tab.
but i can only open WMP in there by clicking the 'launch music player'
is there any way can change it opening with htc audio manager??
U have to get HTC Home Customiser for it..u can search the around the threads or the forum..the best way to search the site is this
Additionaly, you have to actually install HTC Audio Manager And then (the easiest way is to use HTC Customizer, as ather90 mentioned) setup HTC Home to use it.
yes!

Please Help: HTC E100 Remote auto starts Audio Manager....

...but I want it to start Pocket Music 5 which is the player I use or even WMP. When I use Kaiser Tweak the default player only gives a choice between Audio Manager and WMP - how can I add Pocket Music to that to be able to select as default. However it does not matter which default I select using Kaiser Tweak as the RC E100 only operates the HTC Audio Manager.
Can someone please direct me to another possible registry entry that can fix this?
thanks guys
Didn't the remote only support windows media player?
no, doesnt support WMP. I tried to get it to run anything other than Audio Manager but as soon as you push any button on the remote unit, it starts up Audio Manager - regardless of whats running.
If I have Pocket Player running, the music is routed through the remote headset but it does not respond to any button pushes; again; it just starts Audio Manager.
Any suggestions? Is there a registry hack?
I'm in the same situation as you !
I contacted HTC, and they said the driver is developed to support only the Audio Manager. My contact having on the other phone a technician of HTC, I have asked to tell him to improve the driver to support other Media Player
But ... nothing moves ...
...bump..
anybody have any ideas please? or having same experience?
Cant believe there are only 2 of us with Kaisers using the new RC E100 headset?
I'm still waiting for mine
THough i like the audio manager

I got mine yesterday, using WMP on my Tilt though. I didn't have to install the included driver.
I thought it was possible? how did you get it to work on WMP?
I tried calling HTC support but less than worthless....
The Tilt doesn't have the HTC Audio Manager, just WMP.
I didn't do anything other than plug in the remote, hitting a button then launches WMP.
Can anyone please give me a clue as to where in the registry to look - I'll play around this weekend and see if I can come up with something BUT can one of the hotshots on this forum PLEASE give me an idea of WHERE in registry to start looking.
HTC TyTN2 E100
Hello,
I know that problem too. Have you, at least, identify which HTC driver is used (name ?).
Maybe we may developp one ourself.
Cheers,
J
Hi,
I have both AudioManager and WMP and when I press play on the remote AM starts but when WMP is started first the remote controls WMP. I didn't install driver form CD.
But on the other hand it would be great to control other apps with the remote. I tried many programs to capture E100 buttons but no luck. Only phone buttons can be used. I configured TCPMP to use them as next/previous.
I think intercepting communication between E100 and kaiser would give us some idea how does it work - is it USB or some kind of pulsing through button line of the EXTusb.

How I would solve this is to dump the register before pressing start and dump it after I had pressed start then use a comparing program and look up where in the register the change is made (triggered), then swap it whit the wanted program.

I'm not sure if pressing the button triggers any changes to the register. I was thinking more about taping into physical signals between Kaiser and E100 remote but this could lead to trashing the device in the process Or maybe someone asm literate will look into driver file using IDA to tell us what registry keys it points to.

Everything is logged, by dumping before/after is like to see what actually happened, once you spotted the change you go in and study the area of register. No need for a integrated development environment on this one as we know that this is what kaiser tweak do; change youre register... I suggested to make the changes that the register is sorted to run whatever player of own choice. This is one of many ways to do just that. And after you know the changes you can cab it and save it for another rainy day.

[Q] need a Beats headphone to use Beats Audio ?

In my Runny Tom,the Beats Audio was included.

try flashing your rom again do a FULL wipe 3X then you should be good and if that doesn;t work then my friend i have no clue
I did it.but there are no change.I don't know does the others have this trouble like me?
Same issue here. "Beats" kills the sound, to headphones or external.
Found a solution for mine, from Jay_s post in original thread:
I use dsp manager on V5 It works but you will get a FC ones a while ... but you really dont need it cause of beats audio ^_^ which you can configure in MUSIC PLAYER =)
To fix your volume goto Settings >>> RCM Tweaks >>> System >>Enable/Disable Commands >> Enable XLOUD =) Restart phone
also make sure Beast Boost is checked =) RCM Tweaks >>>Settings >> Miscellaneous >> Beats Boost =) Restart phone

Hi,
I don't have the phone, so I don't know for sure, but I have two pieces of evidence:
You can find a video showing bluetooth streaming in a car, which has track information. I can't post links, because I'm a new user, but search youtube for 'HTC One Bluetooth Music Streaming in the Car'.
There is also a bluetooth certification for the Verizon version of the HTC One: google 'softpedia verizon bluetooth htc one'.
So I think it supports Bluetooth 4.0 with AVRCP 1.3.
Cheers,
Will
I ended up purchasing the HTC One and I can confirm that it supports AVRCP 1.3 but not all applications properly send out the metadata. For example, Google Music works great and I see track and artist, but DoggCatcher doesn't show podcast name or anything like that so it's very hit-and-miss.
If you want some more light reading, try the official listing of the Bluetooth specs for the device here:
