I'm using PocketCM to handle all my texts, and it is doing a fine job, except for on the home screen. The HTC Home Screen tells me I have a text, but when I click on the messaging button on the home screen, it takes me to the windows messaging, not PocketCM like I'd like it to go. How can I fix this?
Anyone else encounter this problem?

Very annoying problem
After I installed iLauncher from SBSH, when I tap on other icons on my today screen (even the ones on my HTC Home Screen) the wireless network connection comes up (as if you tapped the signal icon on the top bar). It will pop up for a two to three seconds and then I tapped the icon again and then it goes into what it is assigned to. I did several soft sets and still no luck. It happens approx. 40% of the time. When I first installed it did it with the home screen and the other icons I set up with ilauncher. I uninstalled and reinstalled, now it appears to just do it with the icons on my HTC Home Screne. I email the company for support but no answer.
Anyone, please
This never happen before I installed iLauncher
other programs I have:
FFF (finer friendly Friends)
SBSH PocketWeather
HTC Home with customizer
Opera
a few games
Also try to keep it in laymans term
Thank Scott
Try disabling the HTC Home screen, see if it still affects the other icons.
Yes, I disabled HTC Home screen and it effected the ilauncher icons. I then disable the ilauncher and the home screen icons was working w/o any problems (so it seems). Would it matter if I install the program to main memory instead of SD card. This is the only issue I am having with this program.
Any suggestions, you are the first to reply, thanks.
If I can not resolve this issue I guess I will try Pocket Plus. Hate to buy to programs.
thanks for any help.
I tried storing it main memory and same thing.
hummmm
I am trying to get my home screen to look like the HTC Home screen, with a slight exception.
I want a large clock (like HTC home)
I want 3 small buttons under it (1 for calls, 1 for messages, and 1 for sms)
THATS IT.
I dont want the links bar to appear under this..
Now, is there a way to mod HTC to take the links (home, favorite people, weather, etc) completely off (as in NO links)? Yes, I have tried HTC customization, and just unchecking those items in the today control panel (htc home section)..
Any ideas?

Sounds like you should try SPB Mobile shell 2.0
Im looking for something a little lighter than spb. it slows stuff down a touch.
OK, I searched the forums and couldn't find anything else on this.
I've got the Tilt with Dutty's Hybrid ROM on it and HTC home customizer and blackbars. Funny thing is (and this just started) that once in a while now the top and bottom bars will disappear and leave white spaces, though the rest of the screen is still visible (clock, etc...). The Windows button works and drops down the windows menu, but the bar and screen button are not visible. Tapping the area on the screen where the button should be also drops down the menu, even though the button itself isn't visible.
Opening an app such as calendar oddly puts the top and bottom calendar bars in, but the actual calendar screen is not visible...just the "today" screen. So you can click on the calendar menu buttons, but see no calendar screen.
A soft reset seems to get everything back to normal, but I want to know if this is the sign of impending doom for my device and I need to put the stock ROM back on, or if is a conflict of some sort with the software and I maybe did something incorrect.
Any ideas?
Sometimes when I am trying to text I can only see one line and my phone doesn't allow me to scroll down. If I hit enter I can still only see the one line. Anyone else have this problem?

That will happen occassionally. I think the only way to fix it is by closing and then reopening the messaging app.
I have seen this happen often if you hit a button to launch the messaging app, and then slide the keyboard open (causing screen rotation) while the app is loading. It gets confused and makes the text entry area fall under the bottom button bar.
The answer is to completely close and re-open the messaging app, and always wait until it is fully loaded before sliding the keyboard out.
Another trick is to load the SIP. Touch the keyboard icon on the bottom of the screen and it will push the text input window out.
Hi. I'm having this problem that my home screen button doesn't work like it should. I use 5 panes and one of them is marked as a "home screen" when I'm not I my home screen pane I should be able to quick access to my home page by just hitting the home button. This is how my friends Z1 works and all my previous Android devices for that matter. But for some strange reason my home button doesn't do anything in to home screen or in any other pane. When I hit the home button the screen flashes quickly like it's trying to do something but nothing happens. Otherwise the home button works just like it should long press activated Google now and in other programmes it brings me back to the home screen. So the problem is somewhere in stock launcher.
Has anyone else noticed this and what might be the reason?

Try a different launcher like the excellent kit kat one from the Nex 5, it's been rock solid for me, but that issue you describe does sound weird, maybe a reflash of the rom you're using might do the trick.
Obviously reboot your phone often too, just incase you hadn't.
Problem solved.
I did install / uninstall of another launcher and after that the xperia launcher works like it should.
