The zip files generate many .brn files. How does one install this? Move to the zip file to the phone (what directory?) and then unzip? Or unzip on the desktop and then move the files? To what directory?
damn,,it would be sweet if you could change the action screen items and include actions such as vibrate/ring, soft reset etc..

Hi,it's normal it's the picture format for this plugin.Unzip the files in your pc then replace the original files by mine in windows directory on your ppc.

I finally decided to give your action screen a try. Looks great, but I was wondering would you be able to make the background a darker black color? I am using the Diamond Mobile Shell skin, and a darker background would match it better.

I've removed phone shortcut and put soft reset.
Replace all the files in Windows folder and install reset.cab.

No,it's wrong ! Unzip the files on your pc then copy them in your pda,just the files and not a folder.

Okay, so what am I doing wrong with this? I've gone in and made changes to the 2 xml files that are for the plugin, but once I put them back on my Sprint Touch and soft reset, all I get is a blank space were they are supposed to be. Any ideas? Thanks!

It's a problem that I can live with, but I've now got the diamond looking sweet and this is a niggle that I could do without.
I'm hoping it's a case of editing the registry and nice and easy.
Maybe you should try to reinstall HTC Diamond Volume Control cab from here

This happens when using the newer HTC volume cab from the touch pro on the touch diamond.
If using the diamond's volume dll on the touch pro, the opposite happens (very small font is shown).
I am currently experiencing the huge font issue, but i really want the new dll. Anyone knows what is the file to be edited?
The file to edit is the HTCVolumeControl.dll located in //Windows. All you need to do is replace the file you currently have by the HTC Diamond .dll file (attached here). Then follow steps here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2972979 to edit the DLL and put your own icons.

Goto Settings -> Personal -> Home -> Items and un-check "Windows Default"
Install GTX Titanium.cab
Go back to Settings -> Personal -> Home -> Items and re-check "Windows Default"

When I try to install it says it's not digitally signed with a trusted certificate.. Would love to try this. I think I am having the issue some people were having with the VGA version. Could you please post the files that are in the .cab and I will just copy and paste them. Thanks in advance.

i extracted the cab and then i only owerwrite into the windowsfolder this files:
bronzeres.dll
Titanium_480x800.cpr
Titanium_800x480.cpr
white.png
if you want another background, take a picture and rename this to white.png...

If you install this app you have a folder called "com.kanokgems.smswidget"
which you can find at you sd-card/data.
Then just place your images in the sms unread folder in the data folder on your sd card, it will show up under custom images from SMSUnread settings menu

This method works in that it shows the image I've created to be used in Desktop Visualizer. The problem I am coming up with is when the image shows up on the screen it is much smaller than what it would normally show up.
It's a 1x2 size image.
Any ideas? Stretching it on the screen hasn't worked.
^^ Make the icon bigger in the first place? instead of trying to stetch it out later.
Is the email icon really only limited to gmail? I have 2 accounts i check frequently... neither of which are gmail lol!

Adb pull the app (uninstall it after), open with winrar, mod the apk with your own icons, you can either mod the assets folder or Res/drawable-hdpi/mdpi holder. Use 48x48 or 72x72 icons. Sign the apk. Install it normally. You can do all this using apk manager.

I have never once seen this folder in root explorer. astro. on a pc....etc after installing this app...I tried creating it and that didnt work,
creating the folder worked for me
just to make sure you're putting the folder in /sdcard/data right?

Here's all you need to skin resco keyboard pro 6.x ( and photomanager pro 7.x, pocket radio 3.x , maybe works for others resco apps).
The skin maker comes from here, so credits to author: Ветошкин В.В. aka en-trance (4pda.ru).
I found it was not clearly described and a little out of place in "software development" thread, so here's my little tutorial.
I attached here the keyboard skin files as example , but you can extract and manage the ..rpk skins from yor latest resco software.
INSTRUCTIONS1) extract from RescoSkinMaker_v20100616 the folder win32 or wince (depending on your OS) .
2) put the attached Default.rpk skin file into win32 folder and double click on unpack.bat
3) it will create a "skin.conf" file and a "skin" folder -containing an "Images" folder and a "Default" file.
Now you can manage the images inside the "Images" folder.
4) once you've done, go back to win32 folder and double click on pack.bat, this will create a "NewSkin.rpk" file, save it .
5) you have to do the same (step 1-2-3-4) with the attached Default.VGA.rpk skin, but rename it "Default.rpk" before to move it into win32 folder, at the end of the process remenber to rename the obtained "NewSkin.rpk" to "NewSkin.VGA.rpk"
6) move "NewSkin.rpk" and "NewSkin.VGA.rpk" to the skin folder or resco keyboard

hi, I'm not enough expertized to answer.. just know that the keyboard displays the system fonts.. so if you install a white font, you'll have it on keyboard too.
maybe you can do something with the skin.conf or the "Default" file, or there's a reg tweak for this, but let's wait for someone more "inside" that thing
i really like this keyboard.. accurate and fast.. wish to have a wp7 skin so that it will look good on sms-chat
