How do I bring up my call log/history - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

I'm going nuts here. After searching google and this forum I simply can't find a way to bring up my call history. Ie the full log that you can see when you have a missed called and you click the phone with an exclamation mark in the top bar of the phone.
I know I can view history for individuals in the contact manager but how do I bring up the full log?

With normal ROM?
I remember it was something like pressing Dial button (green button) and then press UP on your pad.
ps. Hi all on the forums, after reading here for some time i decided to post aswell

If it's the stock rom the icon is on the today screen to the right of the text message icon. Otherwise in the dialer app it's the icon that looks like a phone with and arrow wrapped around it just below the video call icon. Hope this helps.

Press the green dial button and up or right pad button. It will open the call log. Alternatively, on the dialer screen, there is a call history button below the backspace and video call button.
Cheers.

What rom are you using?

HTC Home, Contacts tab, preventing accidental autodialling?

Is there any way to make the people icons in the Contacts tab of HTC Home jump to the phone screen with the contact set ready to dial, but wait for you to press the Green call button before it actually dials? It's far too easy to accidentally dial someone via that panel with an inadvertant touch at present. It's still a handy way to get to your favourite contacts quickly, but I'd much prefer the 'safety net' of having to press the green button to actually initiate the call. Is there such an option?

No Today screen after calling back...

I'm currently using the HTC Rom 1.93 official release and am having an issue I can't figure out.
I haven't installed any additional software and haven't done any registry editing, the TouchFlo3d is turned off and I haven't enabled any today plugin for testing purposes.
Now when I get called and missed the call, I press on the notification icon on top of the today screen and then on the bottom left press the popup text to get into my dailer screen. There I see the person who's call I missed and press on it to get to the next screen and then press again on the caller to call him/her back.
This all works but after the conversation it gets stuck in the dailer screen and doesn't get back to the today screen. I can still press the startmenu on top and select anything I want, but it never gets back into the today screen.
I have also installed HardSPL "Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex.zip" and later on also installed "RUU_Signed_1_93OliNex_HSPL_UnsignedEdition.zip", but still the issue remains.
I also get the issue with Duttys ROM and TLR's ROM.
Could anyone do a quick test to see if the issue is software related?
Just turn off (deselect) TouchFlo3d in the todayscreen settings and don't select any other plugins, then let a friend call you, don't pick up. Then after you get the notification call him/her back and check after the phonecall if you get back into yout (blank) todayscreen.
Thanks

how to switch off the "videocall" shortcut button

Just upgraded the ROM to 1.9.
prior to the upgrade, when I press the phone button, it shows me the telephone pad screen with shortcut button to choose "Contact" on the bottom-left. Now only can select video call.
Anything I can do to get the "Contact" short-cut again.
Please please help me!!!!!!!
thanks..............................
i'm sure that a reg edit somewhere will help, but tbh, why do you need to go into contacts?
using the on screen keypad in the phone screen, type the name of the person as if you were using t9.
For example, to find George, you would type 436743 and all the contacts with George in their name will be displayed. use the down arrow to highlight the one you want to call and then hit the call button.
RTFM and learn how to use your phone dude......:-(
Most of existing users "complain" about this changes and lots of discussion about this topic already. You may want to look at the following post for some solutions

Need incoming call window to override other windows

The one feature I hate the most of my Z3C is this:
A call comes in, and I start fumbling with trying to wipe away screens (notifications, messaging, any given app that's open) so I can get to the accept call window where I can swipe left to right, red to green, and answer the call!
Is there an app or setting (I use Xperia and Nova launchers) I can activate to prioritize incoming calls so they will show over any other app that may be open? This is especially frustrating in low light or mobile/car situations where cleaning up my desktop quick enough to answer a call before it goes to VM is about the last thing I want to do.

An incoming call always shows up on top of everything else. If it doesn't then you've done something to your phone.

I am sorry, but It does not, unless by "showing up" you mean that tiny strip with even tinier wording and symbols on top of the tiny (5") screen?
Try this: Put up the "Notifications" screen, or even the blank home screen. Then have someone call your phone. Now a small strip with a tiny phone symbol and even tinier wording " accept" or "decline" appears at the top; if you are not in the home screen, that prompt disappears within two seconds. If I want to answer the call when not in home screen, I have to swipe away several open screens of activities to get to that small phone prompt again before I can finally answer the phone.
The only way to get the big swipe-left-to-right, from red to green phone prompt is by first finding and pressing the phone symbol on my home screen (after first having to get back to the home screen, when other screens are up!)
But I want this symbol to prioritize the screen, automatically, every time, regardless of other screen activity.
How do I prioritize and superimpose the big red/green answer prompt over any of my current screen(s)? I want a simple "answer this call now" prompt, not a multi-step fumbling exercise to access the main function of this device!
Any help out there?
