On my tilt when I send a SMS the proper time stamp is recorded. However when I receive a SMS the time stamp is off by one hr. It records the message as being sent 1 hr before it was. Is there a way to fix this?
This is due to different timezones, or at least, that is a problem too where it tells us when the message was sent, not received, very annoying.
Its a windows mobile issue

Im currently running a 8925 with Dutty's 6.1 dual touch ROM. I have two specific problems.
1) My sent messages are timestamped properly, but my received messages are usually hours off (4)
2) My text messages dont seem to receive right away?
When your phone is in standby/locked mode does it not receive/alert you of new SMS? It seems i only receive them when I bring the phone out of sleep.
Any help with these odd problems would be appreciated.
Maybe the other person's phone clock is not correct. Is it all text messages or just from one specific sender?
No I just tested it and all incoming texts are timestamped as exactly 4 hours off.

Whenever my friend sends me a message over 160 characters i only receive the first message. Does anyone know why i dont receive the second?
When i receive a text message, my phone shows that it was received 5 hours earlier. For example, if i have a friend send me a text to try it. I recieve the text at 9PM but on my phone it says i receive it at 4PM. Does anybody know how i can resolve this issue?
This CAB works, it was an update from my carrier.
enjoy!
Cool, it worked.
Thanks alot, jbarns!
There are times when I cannot send sms while there is a full bar signal, anyone who has some hints on why is this?
Thanks!
Do you also have problems with recieving sms-messenges?
I initially had problems with my X1 as well, only half of the messenges showed up, didn't send a lot of messenges either. Most notably, the new messenges icon (xperia panel 1) contstantly showed me that i had unread messenges but they werent visible when i was in the inbox.
Fed up with problem (after updating through SE update service), I had T-mobile send it in. It's fixed now!
I have the same problem.
My provider is KPN (Netherlands) and sometimes the text messages I send are, either duplicated and send twice, or not being send at all.
Also, when I recieve messages (rare occasions) the messages that weren't send to the receiver, are being send at the same time I receive the message.
I have the latest SE Update with the Update Service.
Does anyone have an answer to this problem cos I have the same problem texts are not being sent
i have a problem with my phone sending sms. this phone was bought in korea (lg ku5900) but i live outside of korea. whenever I send an sms greater than 70 characters, it gets cut. The receiver of my message will just receive the first 70 characters of the sms i sent. but in my phone it shows i have sent the whole message.
I have tried replacing the stock korean sms apk with froyo stock sms apk but to no avail messages still gets cut off.
with regards to my service provider, there is no problem with them since i am able to receive long text messages from my contacts. the maximum characters i receive is around 500 character which is equal to 4 sms.
is there anyway to go about this problem?
